The sag is a classic look as if on nice cafe patio. The tight look is good for some areas I suppose but 95% of the time it’s sag loom with proper secured cords for the win

I use to install lights and chandeliers at wedding events. Even installed some permanently at certain venues. No one ever wanted straight lined lights. always wanted a little or a lot of droop. Even with the wired they wanted a little droop.

Taut not taunt. Your technique looks great!

Saggy looks better. Tight looks like some kind of device used to scare birds away or a penitentiary.

tight looks modern and nice - how do you terminate the ends of misc length strings? i.e. if it's a 35 ft run and you cut down a 48 ft light string? thanks!

Sag/droopy looks better. And can the stainless steel cord attract lightning? 👀

I always try and convince my clients to do this but for some reason they like the sag. I like to install nice and tight

I see bistro lights the same way I look at women. I like both looks, but I think saggy looks better
