Daniel definitely could've won this match. Got a bit impatient as the match progressed and David capitalized on that. Really impressive that a inside based arm wrestler went to where he was uncomfortable and gave a great fight.

Daniel fought that match very intelligently. I wanted to stay away from that hook since he sensed that Davit would overwhelm him and he was right. That 3rd pin was easy for Samushia. On the other hand, his back pressure was very strong.
Samushia has the best hook under 85 kg imo, I never expected Daniel to win there. Nonetheless, Daniel put up a much better fight than I expected and showed that his outside game is not to be messed with.
Ill be honest. So many same elbow fouls in the event that these ones called by judges made me think twice about the rules. We saw Genadi vs Jerry elbow fouling all over the table and none were called as Engin said the judges did not want to ruin the match. So why calling it now ? just saying..

I think in a rematch things can go differently, especially considering that Daniel pulled out of his weight class and didn’t have enough time since WAF. Samushia has multiple gold medals in WAF.

And don't take Alan Zoloev not showing up at WAF as an blame against Daniel (he's the one who showed up and won it). On other note, Alan did have argubly the most impressive run ever in that class of WAF championship, he might beat Samushia of today as well. Samushia won this match, and that's it. No need to downplay Daniel's career and achievement to prove your point. Like when Paul Linn beat Samushia, it's a win, no downplay Samushia.
