Subscribed! Love the way you do these videos. I remember going on a shopping spree to get Mac studio fix and all those products you mentioned but my skin would end up reacting badly or I would still need to pick up a powder or some other thing that I forgot. It overwhelmed me and I gave up on the whole thing.

i love how u always mention about cruelty-free make up. and btw i used to rave about that nars sheer glow foundation as well! once it slipped from my hand while i was pouring it, broken into pieces, all the 75% unused foundation was all over the floor. i was so sad that i had to buy a new one, and since then i just knew nars also sold pump separately!
Ok, I am so so glad you made this video. I always feel overwhelmed when i see sooooo many new products!! (No offense to my lovely beauty gurus.. I totally get that it is an occupational hazard). For me so much of this is extra nostalgic, since for me, everything lined up so I was in middle school and just starting to wear makeup when the beauty side of youtube started gearing up. I remember, I was in exactly tenth grade when Soft and Gentle was such a big hit, and I watched video after video of dupes, and eventually scraped together some cash and got one of those dupes. Watching makeup videos wound up being such a big part of my teenage years!

Loved the video so much. I still own some of the products that you featured and love them. I would like add urban decay naked eyeshadow palettes. I own naked 2 and it's still quite good but nobody talks about it anymore.
Maybelline gel eyeliner was my first purchase after watching youtube tutorials on winged eyeliner. I still use Maybelline gel eyeliner. But next time I hope to buy a gel liner that is cruelty-free yet not heavy on the pockets. :) I'm trying my share to stop cruelty on animals. Love your videos. Love you for being yourself.

Really really impressed!!!! I wish more and more people get aware of these kind situations (cruelty) going on around us and stopped using such products. I mean when we stop using it companies will stop testing on animals.

We cannot have selective empathy..cruelty free makeup and clothes, but love chicken broth, mutton curry, fish n chips etc. Not that I'm pointing out at Jovita, its happening around us in general and even Nas Daily had done a 1 min video about it.

I also use her as foundation reference. I use maybelline fit me 332 to perfectly shade match me. You can check 330 too. Although Its a little darker than 332.

Hi Jovita, have you noticed that some foundations and concealers change colour slightly... They oxidize and become a shade darker. It would be great if you could do a video on this problem of oxidizing of foundations and concealers. Is there a way to get around this issue? I think you should do another video on how to organise all the makeup and skincare products too ! I love your videos .... So informative and interesting .... Love your humour too :)

This look is so beautiful, that Nars Sheer Glow really cannot be beat for a medium but buildable coverage with a satin/dewy finish. Sigh. But I'm glad you're getting in on the #shopmystash movement -- buying and buying and buying is out of control. I for one cannot justify buying palettes as opposed to single shadow. I don't do full eye looks so it wouldn't be practical. Thank you as always for being so amazing! P.S. What liquid liner do you use?

Hi Jovita! I read somewhere that you can make a diy concealer using moisturiser and some matte eyeshadow. Have you ever tried it? The drugstore concealers just don't work on my skin.

Thank you for making this video! I think this isn't said much. We're so focused on the new launches and buying more that we don't enjoy what we have. That's also my goal for 2019 - to buy ONLY I have run out of what I have and to enjoy what I own. Also, is it just me or does every eyeshadow palette has those warm orange, ochre shades? Hello.. Loving your video.. Please make a video about "buying high end products in India" like trust worthy websites. I don't know where to buy high end products
I'm not too certain either :(
High-end Indian make up isn't really a thing yet, I think. You can get some good mid range brands like Sugar, Colourbar, some of the ones that pop up on Nykaa. But high end make up in India is still really high end brands from abroad. The other thing is that most products from abroad (even drugstore ones) end up costing so much back here that high end products would definitely be out of budget for a large section of the population, I think.
Cult beauty is good, but pricey
