Being on pedal bike and surrounded by hills I sadly have to be pretty picky until I get an E-Bike but I have been offered quite a lot of jobs the past few days in this weather. sadly only did one job today as it started hailstoning and kept going in my eyes.. my hands hate me in this weather lol
that is a good point there and why do cars have 12v with usb charger in when people dont use them as my brother when he has a car he going to get one for the to use it when we are out.
Because deliveroo and uber have a lot of not the brightest minds working for them and they do get randomly checken by inspectors. When someone does not ask for ID when they should have, the restaurant can expect a big fine (or even closure). Uber and Deliveroo don't want to risk that.
Mind you, on that note, after variants of "I'm old enough to be your mum!" and "I'm the one who placed the order and I'm over 18 (even though I'm not there), and I can get them to show you my ID (but somehow not the ID of the person in front of me)", in my opinion I prefer the "ID everyone, even grandmas" stance. Also saves the whole "hmm, does (s)he look 25, I'd say (s)he's like mid 20ish" and the worry of embarrassment and all if you ask someone who actually ends up being well above 25 for ID...
I give a tip when they follow my instructions, I've got 6 fractures in my spine so I'm pretty slow so I have it saying that the door is unlocked and to leave it at the stairs on the inside so if they do that they get a tip but there are some that knock and wait so they don't get one
I also do food deliveries and I use an app called Zego. I do the monthly cover that charges per hour. This is because it's a second job for me. You basically have to re-submit a certificate every month on the app or web portal of you service choice. You connect a bank account and it pretty much just pulls money out when it goes below £10. When you're live it deducts by how long you've been live. I currently pay £0.88p an hour per app for my cover. Hope this helps :)

He's explained this in other videos before - From memory, he calculates it based on how much he pays for Hire & Reward insurance, minus how much he'd be paying for SD&P insurance if he wasn't doing this job.
@ Tab k you very much, I have only started watching him recently , I love the content and I had and was just wondering how he was paying so little for insurance but it adds up now
The first lady was definitely still on the sesh from the night before ❄️🎉

@@user-qw1ss5oj5l us in Scotland wouldn’t know what that’s like with our alcohol curfew 😂😂
Just back from a logistics block to see you uploaded a video. Nice watch before I go for my night shift. 😁
I wish the delivery drivers that come to where I work were as nice as you. Most of them are really rude and uncooperative.
The nicer you are to the staff, the more they will help you out, it's silly being rude.
@ exactly right
Those with a permanent sun tan? 👀
@@tfairley1187I was just trying to think of a way of replying but you beat me to it 👍

How come you charge from a powerpack/portable battery instead of using a 12v - USB charger in your car?
that is a good point there and why do cars have 12v with usb charger in when people dont use them as my brother when he has a car he going to get one for the to use it when we are out.
Mine must not be 12V because it can barely maintain the battery level of my phone, let alone charge it!

I thought I was the only one who says the giffgaff voicemail in a broken Yorkshire accent when I hear it 😂😂
Hahahaha I can’t help but imitate the accent when I hear it 😂
How is the insurance so cheap? £1.63 for the day? Am I right thinking that? I’m seeing zego do £2 per hour not per day?

Deliveroo: 66% Food orders only
Uber Eats: 45% Food orders
Uber&Deliveroo LSP: 14% Food orders
Just Eat: 55% Food orders
Please stop the editing and cutting the video , Stop the camera cuts .
It's like 2000 tiktok videos in one long video , This is very annoying .
You’d rather an uncut, 4 hour long version of the video instead?
