You simply have to try Sarawak Laksa! It might just surprise you. As someone from northern Malaysia, I have a soft spot for Sarawak Laksa dishes. If you can't make it to Sarawak, don't worry - you'll find it in any Sarawakian restaurant. It's a delicious, versatile dish that's loved by many. Laksa is a bit of a subjective food, isn't it? Some people love the sour, some love spicy, and some love it more fishy. It all depends on personal taste and where you're from. :) Lovely video too, looking forward for more.

    Laksa Terengganu (Terengganu)
    Laksam (Kelantan/Terengganu)
You most probably can get Asam Laksa & Laksa Kari throughout Malaysia. As for the other laksa, you need to visit each states individually to try them. Go try them all and please make a ranking video of your fav laksa.

looks like a cool multi-cultural city. what are the hotel prices there? I've been to thailand and vietnam, but not malaysia but the food/drinks seem comparable.

For food besides Laksa, you folks should also try Peranakan foods (a Chinese Malaysian cuisine). Just ask around in the city center, I'm sure you'll be pointed to some Peranakan restaurants.
