Every state in Malaysia has its own laksa. Asam laksa is Penang, nyonya laksa is from Malacca, etc. Each has their own distinctive flavours
They’re all amazing in their own special way 🤩
马来西亚真的漂亮啊,马来西亚的华人对中国人很好,不会污蔑我们,我喜欢马来西亚的华人。
Malaysia is my parent's home town. They are Chinese Malaysians. I really enjoyed your china video blogs especially in Guangdong province since my grandpa grew up there. Hope you enjoy Malaysia!!

We love spending time in Malaysia whenever we visit 🤩🥰
Guys, this is the best vldeo I've ever watched showcasing melaka. I live in england at the moment but will be leaving soon for good, I'm heading for singapore. I can't wait to explore malaysia. Can't believe how beautiful melaka is, thank you guys.
Thanks for the kind words and we loved our time in Melaka 🥰
You simply have to try Sarawak Laksa! It might just surprise you. As someone from northern Malaysia, I have a soft spot for Sarawak Laksa dishes. If you can't make it to Sarawak, don't worry - you'll find it in any Sarawakian restaurant. It's a delicious, versatile dish that's loved by many. Laksa is a bit of a subjective food, isn't it? Some people love the sour, some love spicy, and some love it more fishy. It all depends on personal taste and where you're from. :) Lovely video too, looking forward for more.
the waterboat is actually better enjoyed at night time
next destination maybe you can try klebang coconut 🥥 shake and kuih keria gula melaka
Laksa exist in almost every state in Malaysia with distinctive touch and ingredients. Laksa Johor using spaghetti and shrimp broth, laksa Penang and laksa Kedah both orangey fish base broth, Laksa Terengganu with rice noodles in white broth, laksa Sarawak with special noodles, all shredded chicken and fresh prawn, laksam specialty in Kelantan with coconut milk and fish white broth, assam laksa taste more acidic with mint or pineapple cubes added and the list goes on😊
Isn’t that incredible, we’ve tried quite a few ourselves now 🥰
Maaf bang laksa johor bukan guna kuah udang tu mee bandung 😢 laksa johor kuah die rasa nak dekat sama macam laksa teganu

u guys should try "Muzium istana kesultanan melaka"...very beautiful building
Side note, Fan bingbing is ambassador in Melaka right now, thats why u see a lot Chinese tourist in there 🇨🇳🤝🏻🇲🇾
Thanks for the info 👍🏻🤩
Melaka is historical and not much high rise, retaining the old vibes of times gone by. Take in the atmosphere of the night market as well.
So proud of you guys - you made the effort to learn every local name correctly, from food to street names. Every name was spot on!
You can get popular Malaysian food pretty much anywhere in Malaysia; they’re not usually linked to a particular place.
Also, you haven’t tried Char Kuay Teow yet - fried rice sticks with prawns. It’s one of Malaysia’s best! It’s of course also based on luck where you eat to get the best ones!
We try and learn as much as we can 🤩
Guys, best time to take the boat ride is during night time. The scenery is magical like
It’ll have to be next time for sure 😉
Malaysia is best for showcasing harmony amongst its people. You can have a church next to a temple next to a mosque no problem. Love my country very much
For your info, malacca strait is the third busiest shipping route after the Suez Canal and English channel.
Thanks for sharing 🤩
Malaysia truly Asia
We agree 🤩
Assam literal translation is sour flavour. Tamarind is asam as fruit. We use tamarind as a base flavour for sour in most of the dishes. Asam Pedas, Asam Laksa etc.
Laksa is Malaysia, each state has their own unique version. From Kedah all the way to Sarawak.
Thanks for letting us know 🥰
Food to die for in Melaka are, fried oysters, crabs, celups, coconut shakes, nyonya cuisines, nyonya jungs, rice balls chicken rice. And etc
Ooh so much to choose from 🤤
One thing beautiful about Malaysia is that the most nice and authentic as well as local places of worship, whether catholic churches, mosques or temples for Indian and Chinese are at the rural areas - some with good architecture, others with very open people :)
*Welcome to Malaysia truly Asia good food, people beautiful beach, skyscrapers & others, Msian likes to lepak Mamak drink Teh Tarik Jom joining Malaysian 🇲🇾💙🧡♥️💙🇲🇾*
The mural painting of the “famous Chinese empress” is actually Chinese actress Fang Bing Bing who is Melaka Tourist Ambassador for visit Melaka Year 2024 🥂
Nyonya laksa/Laksa Lemak is a common peranakan (blend of Malay & Chinese) cuisine from Melaka with rich coconut milk-based broth noodle.
Penang/Assam Laksa is a sour, fish (mackerel) based broth, rice noodle from Penang

Just to comment about the Dutch square, the fountain that you pointed out was actually erected to commemorate Queen Victoria.
Brilliant...very adventurous reviews...
I know what she is telling you about. The sourness not only coming from tamarind but we add another kind of herb calles “asam keping” or scientifically known as Garcinia atroviridis/Garcinia Cambogia. The taste is more sour than tamarind.

This cendol was incredible 🥰🥰
Laksa have many variant depending on regions. It is more of 'Peranakan' dish origins from Malaysia. Only from Malaysia
