Peewee and jambi hanging out in that great playhouse in the sky.
PAUL RUBENS IS DEAD?!?
He said "Long live Jambi" and here he is, on RUclips, stamped in time as an all-time classic. Prophetic.
Your wish is granted. Long live Jambi.
+gabe marty Jambi? Is that a dildo?

@@JAMBI.. but I
I would
If I could
Rest in peace JP
Even you had children who grew watching Pee Wee Playhouse in the 80s all blabbed out those magic words as Jambi
Mecca Mecca Hi, Mecca Hiney Ho
Though alot of us thought it was something sexual, or made a joke out of it, sometimes even laughed when kids would go to school to say this to principals, teachers, and students
Thank you John
How can you get it wrong when it is in the first few moments of the very video you are commenting on. What a fucking sham tribute. Go back to the past and maybe bring something back that isn't your bullshit. What an ass.
Rest in Peace, Pee Wee
Here from the King’s mountain view
Here from the wild dream come true
I can remember saying this as a kid while watching the show:-) rest in peace Jambi
Oh to go back to that simpler time. I was a full on adult when this came out and I fucking loved every single thing about this show.
Make a Hiney Hole?
*steven patterson* We all did :>)
Best babysitter ever!!
Rest in peace, John Paragon. Gone today at 66 years of age.
I just found out about this character by chance, so I searched him on youtube- quite sad what happened to him, he had an impressive surname though
Such a shame. I only now learned of his passing. He was such an awesome actor (and more).
Aww that sucks to hear
This was stuck in my subconscious for 15 years and I would randomly say it and wonder how I knew it. I forgot I watched a lot of Pee Wee Herman when I was a kid
I came here to say the same thing. 😂😂😂😂😂
Farewell, John Paragon. Long live Jambi! Meka leka hi meka hiney ho!
Thanks for making my childhood memories more magical Mr. Paragon. Rest In Peace and long live Jambi.
Indeed
I've been dreaming of this face again
bright and blue and shimmering
This was my dad's nick name for me as a kid. 😢 I loved this show when I was little, and he'd call me this affectionately. One of my few memories of him.
jambi? oh thats cute
"Meka leka hi meka hiny ho" is kind of a mouthful for a nickname.
R.I.P. John Paragon, Shirley Stoler and Paul Reubens.
Dim my eyes if they should compromise our fulcrum
wants and needs divide me
then I might as well be goneeeeeeeeeee
I just heard Jambi died and now I'm super bummed out
Yeah that sucks
Long Live Jambi
@WakkoLuigiBros I WISH THIS DECADE WILL GET BETTER
Same here, just found out.
They serve him at Jamba Juice
Ted wanting to turn water into wine: Meka Leka Hi Meka Hiney Ho

CYNE brought me here

I could've written it down in an envelope, held it to my forehead, and said that's what you were gonna say.

Mary M Jane!!!
👍 ikr 😆 Some maui wowi , some hydro & some chronic 🚬
The wish is granted, long live Jambi!
I don’t think I ever thought of the Tool song and this being somehow connected until today.
And sure enough the song was inspired by Jambi. Long live Jambi.
Coming here after the passing of Paul Rubens 😢
For some strange reason.... This Sh*t popped into my head for no reason today. I said to myself.... Where is that saying from????? Could not remember until I typed it in search and this vid came up. WOW!! I was 14 when Pee-Wee's Playhouse first aired.... Now I'm 47. Where did the time Go? 😂😂
I was watching American Housewife and AnnaKat said it and I remembered. I was like 8 when Pee wee playhouse was on
I didn't even watch it as a kid (I couldn't stand it), but I still remember saying it. I'd bet, if you walked up to pretty much anyone that was a kid during that time, and said that, they'd understand the reference... I'm 45.
@@joshuabray37 You are Right. 👍👍. Now I'm about to turn 50. In July. 😁
Same here. 44 now. A random show mentioned “Mecca” then out of nowhere, from a long buried memory it immediately jumped into my head and I was trying to figure out where it was from. What would we do without the internet and google?😂
I'm 32 but I loooved Peewee as a kid.. Really thankful for those mid 90s reruns because this show was incredible for a kid.
Absolutely wonderful character. May he rest in peace.
Indeed. He will be missed
I just found out he had passed away, so sad.
Now he is telling The King Of Cartoons to say that in heaven
Long Live Jambi!
A part of everyones childhood
in loving memory jambi 🙏 thanks 4 tha memories
Now on to listen to that TOOL song, Jambi.
This was my favorite show as a kid, it’s also the reason why I’m so weird today
😆
R.I.P. THIS SHOW WAS A HUGE PART OF MY CHILDHOOD... I EVEN HAVE THE TOYS.. THEY DON'T MAKE SHOWS LIKE THIS ANYMORE.
This is featured in the Weird Al song "Pretty Fly for a Rabbi" and now I get it!
0:35 The wish is granted. Long live Jambi.
What a weird childhood I grew up in.
R.I.P Paul Reubens aka Pee-Wee Herman.
If you go into a dark bathroom and look into a mirror and say this three times Paul Reubens will appear
I always thought it was Meka Leka Hi Meka Hiney Hole!
+Suggie Thames Depends on what you're wishing for! ; )
+Suggie Thames Ima lick a ho hiney? wtf?
+Suggie Thames i'm glad you finally got that straightened out.
Exactly I thought the samething all those yrs ago
Yeah the original joke ended with “lick a hiney ho” but hadda be changed for TV. It eventually morphed into “Mecca Charlie ho”
my Dad and I would watch peewee every Saturday morning, sipping cans of weidemann death beer, and doing bong hits, we would see what the secret word was, then sabotage the breakfast discussion, and in fact most conversations the rest of the day, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
How old were you ?
@@swtstgrlcaroline i don't think there's any good age for this behavior.
My friends parents asked me to say grace at dinner one time - and I said this.
That's great!
RIP John Paragon 1954-2021 🧞♂️
I used to watch pee wee's playhouse in the my younger years and RIP Jambi
this was stuck in my head and i couldnt think where from, now im a little worried
Me2 😆
Me too!!!
who else was freaked out by this bodyless genie when they were a kid??
My mother hated every time Jambi said the magic words. Really annoyed her for some reason. Recently, she got herself a smartphone which she had absolutely no idea how to use. Guess what ringtone I made sure was "accidentally" installed...
She was livid! lol
I remember never wanting to miss an episode every Saturday morning I loved this show as a kid
😘
LONG LIVE JAMBI !! RIP 🤙🏼
Your wish is granted long live Jambi!
🤣🤣🤣These words just popped into my head out of the blue. So I typed the words on Google to see which show this came from 🙈This was a memory from my childhood😅
I say this in my head randomly all the time.. I’m at work watching this
I think it's from somewhere else, because I know it, and I never watched this. I just searched it trying to find out what it's from, and this is what comes up, but I've never seen it before.
Haha I just cracked up, used to watch this when I was 5 years old 😅
R.I.P. John Paragon
*LONG LIVE JAMBI*
This is my go to statement in any argument.
Anybody else here from Family Guy episode When Peter changes his living room into peewees Playhouse 😅🤣
Kids in the 80s were like "am I allowed to say something that sounds like hiney hole?"
Rip homie jambi
RIP John Paragon. Long live Jambi!
40+ years later, and I still catch myself saying this a couple of times a year. 🤷♂️
After this bit, peewee ran straight for the adult theater
Just heard about ole' Jombi. Rest in peace bro sad to see you go.
Rest in Peace John Paragon
"Amazing." -Cole, 5 years old
The whole world does this Pee Wee returns
I didn’t even know I had this as a memory but here I am
My Dad and Mom would call me Becca Lecca High…because of the show ☮️💟🎶♍️☯️ great memories.
Meka-leka-hi meka-hiney-ho, Sir. RIP
R.I.P Jambi
Rest In Peace Pee Wee.😢
Thanks for all the laughs 😊
Thanks Ted!
I met John Paragon in 2016. He’s a really nice guy, and I had to show him that I can say the last part of the chant, the one no one ever got right on the show, correctly.
Sony The third line, which was, “Moolahmechachonamechaholeamoleahey!” Or something like that. People on the show said the first two lines right, but they never said the third line correctly. When I said it for John Paragon, he told me that that line was written so that Pee-Wee, who I met last year, would flub it every time he tried to say it. I wish I’d said it for Paul Reubens when I met him, but I didn’t think to. I did show him a foil ball that I made with an entire 40 foot roll of foil, and he said it was small.
Long live jambi.
Its been like 30 years since I saw this on tv! Xoxoxo
JAMBI ALWAYS GAVE ME THE CREEPS AS A KID!!
😄
Same. There’s just something about a disembodied head in a box that is somewhat unsettling
R.I.P. Paul Reuben!
Lawrence Fishburne was in Apocalypse Now for chirissakes.
RIP Jambi 😢
"Here from the king's mountain view
Here from the wild dream come true
Feast like a sultan, I do
On treasures and flesh never few
But I, I would wish it all away
If I thought I'd lose you just one day
The devil and his had me down
In love with the dark side I'd found
Dabblin' all the way down
Up to my neck, soon to drown
But you changed that all for me
Lifted me up, turned me round"
Feels like an adult cartoon disguised as a kids show
LOL! I remember this when I was a kid.
Wild Dream Come True
When I was in Saudi Arabia this dude said to me, Salam Alikum, I told him Meka laka hi, meka hini ho, and he looked at me like I insulted his mother or something.
john vines hahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣
stay outta the 3rd world
"Peace be unto you," thats probably why he greeted you and you just joked around dont do that in Arabia, you'll be treated like the women
He probably thought you said something about Mecca...
lol nobody else gets this joke wtf
Wait...This is where that phrase came from?
Heard it for years, never knew where it originated.
RIP Jambi
This phrase lives rent free in my head
My mythology teacher put this in to get a three day snow day. It worked
I was a kid when this came out and I remember a friend of mine at the time was the really paranoid conspiracy theory type (even then) and he was convinced this chant was a demonic chant to give your soul to a demon so he refused to say it and if anyone said it around him he would get genuinely upset and start talking about the Bible.
There was also an animated series (I didn't really watch it) where you were supposed to get an associated toy and when the show was on it would send out a signal that would make the toy do stuff. He flat out refused to watch it and begged everyone we knew not to watch it because he was convinced the signals were either mind control or would give you cancer or something.
nice! Hope he's not in a psychiatric facility by now.
Not to bring things down but he had a big mental slide after high school and passed away in 2012. On second thought maybe I shouldn't have brought him up.
Ugh, that's a shame man. It happens, unfortunately.
Yeah, he went really crazy, got into drugs and drink, got even more paranoid and into conspiracy theories. Thinking back on it he also seemed to have OCD when we were kids, washed his hands obsessively and did that light switch thing (turning it on and off a bunch of times). He was in bad shape in the end.
Omg I'm scared now 😱
Mr. Prime Minister.
Rip Paul Reubens
Legend tells us that Jambi, along with Cowboy Curtis, were a part of a group that collectively kicked the ass of Chuck Norris in what is regarded as one of the earliest crossovers in history
metagross9092 not...
sounds like our pop music today
Rest In Peace you genius.
listen to this at half speed. it's a whole new experience...
In heaven with Paul now
i miss this show/love pee wee

R.I.P John
Meka leka hi Meka hiney hole. That's what my older sister told me to recite in those days 😂
I said hiney hole as well 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I can't stop laughing my whole fam said hiney hole
If I could I'd wish it all away
If I thought tomorrow will take you away
