With the Mushroom being talked about here. When Brenner says “to beat him you are going to need to “fly” could the mushroom give El some other powers to be able to beat Vecna. Or put her into a different mind state. My first ever post in theories. Be nice ha
Yo Brandon. I'd like to hear your thoughts on how the show was originally called Montauk, that the Montauk project was allegedly experimenting with psychedelics, and how this then ties to our strangers things friends and the mushroom theoryyyyy ✌️ (You have totally sold me on this theory now btw. It's not fully worked out but you are definitely on to something) Also, the Argyle scene in S 4 always stood out to me like a sore thumb - like the Duffers were trying to give us a clue to something with that moment. This theory is the only thing I've heard that makes that make any sense... that scene always bugged me. Hahaha. thanks for your awesome videos, nerd.
I actually DID NOT KNOW there was supposed to be another name, that just blew my mind lol. That make's me think differently about A LOT of what I found that had no explanation, which is why Part 3 has not been dropped yet! This might have helped me immensely so THANK YOU!!!
@@DLA_AlternativePodcast No thank you 🖤 yeah ... dig into that Montauk project rabbit hole, camp hero and the MK ultra ties. Suspicious minds - the novel about el's mom - also depicts Terry Ives being given LSD by Dr Brenner in the lab experiments in order for her to find/activate her powers while she's pregnant with Jane/el. This story line may not be considered cannon though... Together we are going to figure this shit out haha.
just wanted to point out that on the closeup of argyle holding the mushroom, he is not picking up an Amanita Muscaria mushroom. it looks to be possibly a Psilocybin mushroom, which would be far different than an Amanita or Fly Agaric, but would still follow the same life cycle and could still be pertinent to the theory. But, the thing is, none of these mushrooms are native or grow anywhere near Indiana.
100% you're correct the mushroom at the end IS NOT a Fly Agaric, and I think your right about which type it is. The main reason for including that scene is because that is a direct connection to the prop I saw in Tate's video which WE DON"T KNOW yet if that has ANY relevance to the show, which is why the theory is kind of crazy, because the prop is NOT guaranteed to be apart of the show whatsoever, that was guess and it turned out there's SO MANY references. Part 3 is coming, tryin to include the right things and references, Season 1 actually has some in the first 10 Minutes lol.
Oh i know they don't grow near Indiana, at least not commonly. I didn't really include the area they grow other than, Serbia, to connect the Russian influence with the show.
I keep saying Mind 'Flyer' because associated with the history of the mushroom, it was said that shamans would call the mind trip they were on, that it would resemble Flying, not Flaying, Flaying in my theory I believed is used to make the whole idea of Mind 'Flying' more aggressive sounding. You Mind 'Fly' in order to 'Flay' your enemies.
