I just came across this video, still holds true, I found it absolutely interesting and inspiring. I have a walking pad and am a firm believer in movement. Thank you it has made me feel like I’m doing the right thing. Even today people think its weird even having a stand up desk let alone a walking pad!! 😊

I just wanted to say thank you for this talk. I wish more people would see this video. I hope I can do the same as you do. I feel like I need to move more every day. This will finally make it possible for me. Thanks!

Standing still - kills my joints, so I dance. Sitting - kills my back even faster, plus I become sleepy very quickly.
So every evening I am waiting for the next day morning, when joints will not yet painful, and I could continue my journey. It makes me more productive, I do not waste time, my metabolism increase, I sleep better etc.

We all learned to type on our phones while walking, so why not at a standing desk.

What brand of treadmill is this? So many brands have mixed reviews, and yours seems to work well and get a lot of use.

this sounds perfect! I have an autoimmune issue with my joints and desk life is killing me. I tried a standing desk and it made certain things for certain joints worse. I need a low impact sport I can do while doing certain jobs so I can stay in motion. And let's be honest: most of us aren't typing or doing a work jobs that require all of our attention all day long. There are so many parts of my day where I could afford to be walking at the same time...yay!

I am an online teacher, I am sitting at my desk teaching all day, mostly 8, sometimes 10 hours per day. This job needs my full attention all day long. I have to talk to my students and parallely, I need to type some of their answers in the chat or on the sheet. I ask myself if it would be possible to type while walking and talking to the students. Multitasking... Thus, I need to walk very slowly.

@@nickis.artworld9557 i just wanted to let you know: i bought a standing desk and treadmill and was able to work and have online meetings while using them. I am a graphic designer and I could do very delicate pixel perfect design work as well as type within days. Just make sure you have an adjustable desk or you will find it hard. It is totally doable, just start out slow! 👍🏽

@UCWjmyyVmr3LEJt1yUR78rfg problem with walking on the treadmill is RSI. The ankle joint In normal walking is constantly changing so not an issue. Sadly I have bought a treadmill and now can’t use it for this reason. Was great until the pain started.
