Hidden MMR is so dumb for a ranked system
Yes it is. It's the opposite of how ranked is supposed to work. No other game does it. Masters players in gold shouldn't be playing against people currently in masters to rank up. It means bad players have an easier time ranking up playing other bad players. While good players are playing kids the same skill as them but currently sitting 3 or 4 ranks above them..
@@TheRealDriftClan they do this same "hidden MMR" in overwatch I believe, and alot of the players feel the same. but I think the hidden MMR is for when players dont play for awhile, and decay, the hidden MMR will quickly boost your actually MMR to match the hidden MMR, (im guessing that's how it works, but its still confusing)

An interesting Vantage buff would be for ranked, being able to see what rank the enemy team members are. It’d be niche and would probably never happen but it’d be nice if they’re mixing up lobbies like this, and she’d see a higher pick rate
If the rank was displayed as "enemy threat level" it would fit in with Vantages style and kit nicely. Good shout man 🤟🏽

Doubt they’d ever do that. They’ve stoped showing the rank of your team and enemies, no trails and so fourth. They’re trying to hide how fucked the system is.
I think all recon legends should be able to do this.
But it would be abused, people don't want to actually TRY to win.
i havent played in like almost a year I just hopped on, and I peaked at high diamond, and most of my lobbies in qp are masters. the first 4 matches they were really bad like rookie or silver bad. and after that, my qp games started to feel like rank a bit. this video really help explain some things bc I was soo lost at how im decayed to rookie, but playing with masters players.

I only play when my friends are on. Their mmr is much higher than mine. We'e playing master lobbies. We're gaining LP, and they're going up, but I'm not. I'm still stuck in the silver promotion trials. I just can't get 3 kills in 1 game consistently enough to meet the requirement. We had a win the other day, but I failed the challenge r8ght before that. I dropped down to 11 985 LP. Even though we won, I only recieved 15LP, and only then did the challenge start, and I failed it again.
Get better to rank up .. ur not doing enough damage or getting kills , just getting carried like a backpack by your friends
Or play solos and play with people ur level
@@murezy I want to play with my friends and see what rank we get to as a team. It's a team game, they said so themselves. They removed solos and said it didn't line up with their vision for the game.
I'm not getting backpacked. It's just that I'm usually the support that does damage from the back. I often end up not getting credit for kills I did contribute to.

It’s all fun and games that my mmr is way higher than my rank and I’m facing only preds and masters while playing in silver. But why the hell do they not make me get more fucking points in silver then? Like I’m legit hard stuck silver as a player with 3,7 kd and 30k kills

playing on silver, against people with 3 pred or masters badge, wtf is that, season 9-10 i could get to plat easily and diamond putting the effort but now is almost imposible.

I’m normally a plat player but I’m stuck low level rank bc of no good teammates. So I get stuck 1v3 teams some I win some I don’t any tips
Try to find teammates that are similar to your skill level, might be hard but if you find some stick with them

The hidden MMR doesn’t work!!! I’m a full time father and a kitchen manager and work 60 hrs a week i play maybe a total of 6 hrs a week. I’m in silver 2 why am i facing imperialhal? Lol my skill is no where near his no where so how tf am i being killed by people who actually have a 10k/d 😂 make that make sense

too bad ranking up is completely rng related and not skill related. be prepared to play at least 10,000 games a season just to start ranking up.

I hope they change ranked back to normal soon, this system is probably the worst thing I've ever seen. If they know what rank they think your in why not put you in that rank. They just keep coming up with dumber ideas and worse systems

I keep seeing people pick Vantage ,Mirage, and revenant are the worst characters to play with and rank. They add no help to team in a close fight. I lost every game with them on my team. And won just about every game with conduit, Bangalore and catalyst. You want to rank up stop picking characters that often no value in rank.
3 stack and make sure your friends are Pred with minimum 100k kills, Wall hacks and aim bot.
There’s only two tips needed to hit pred. Be great at apex and play for 8-10 hours a day

So if I'm B2, but my teammates are Rookie 4, does that mean I'm actually playing like a R4 player or my teammates play like B2 players. Cuz it doesn't feel like we're at the same skill level during play

Ever since season 12 I feel like I've lost a lot of my game sense. I've hit master 3 times (when it mattered) but now I can't seem to consistently play well in diamond lobbies. Sometimes I have trouble in high plat. Anyone have any tips or constructive criticism?
You ain't tell us anything other than you fell off how do we give you constructive criticism
Work on your game sense and decision making, choosing to Play agro or defensive in every different secnario is the key.
You didn't fell off it's just that people are raising their skill level and you're stuck at yours. So try to watch pros play and see how they decide to rotate and move and mimick their play style
