I just started teaching at a local homeless shelter and I have an hour to fill. Sermons don't really work because it's a fairly intimate setting. Could you write say three different ten minute devotionals and string them together? This will be a weekly teaching
@Gameplay Today thanks for replying! The approach I've taken is to take one chapter in a book (We finish James next week) and break the scripture down into parts that belong together and come up with questions about that scripture to generate conversation and interaction. It's working well and I've gotten some great feedback from those at the shelter ☺️ I'll also be using this same approach to lead Bible study on Wednesday nights with my wife and mother and father in law. Thanks for the insight!
