I just started teaching at a local homeless shelter and I have an hour to fill. Sermons don't really work because it's a fairly intimate setting. Could you write say three different ten minute devotionals and string them together? This will be a weekly teaching

The people as so called Christian leader has brought some of this c-4 bill back lash on yourselves. How you may ask well if you truly are a called spiritual leader it is NOT your job to force the doctrines of the bible on the world outside the church of God. The rule and regulations are for those whom are part of the house hold of God NOT outsiders. When Jesus was on earth did he condemn sinners whom were outside the house hold of God? The answer is NO but he was constantly getting on to those people whom claimed to be part of God's house hold. He was always get after those who "claimed" to be leaders of the house of God. Christians are NOT called to condemn those whom do not except Jesus as there savior. If we as children of God condemn those in the world how are we to show them mercy and forgiveness if we are constantly pushing them away. This is why people don't want anything to do with Jesus because so called Christians have destroyed the gospel that Christ taught. Mercy, grace, forgiveness, humbleness Love and Christ's salvation.

We are to stand against things like this. I am in agreement with all pastors and believers on this matter. This is rushing in the end. Only a few sins that are an abomination and homosexuality is one. God is the Creator of marriage not man. He says every man should take a wife, it does not say to take a husband. We need the truth! I am very happy Bill C4 is now passed into Law. It will now force many issues to be resolved as regards the State and Church. As a starter - it is obvious Trudeau like so many in Canada with a Judeo-Christian background, hates the Church. This is a very sad deduction. First of all - as seen in the very constitution of Canada, “Canada is found on the principles that recognizes the supremacy of God and the role of law.” The Charter is one part of the Canadian Constitution. According to Section 2 of the Charter every Canadian has the following fundamental freedoms: freedom of conscience and religion; freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication; freedom of peaceful assembly; and freedom of association. C 4 violates both the constitution and the Charter. It is only a matter of time and with brave Canadians that this will be challenged in the highest court and eventually thrown out. It is simply unCanadian to say the least. Firstly, regarding the ‘myth’, were the proponents of those who hold a differing view on creation there to infer that it never happened and therefore, the story of creation is a myth? The evolutionary ‘theory’ or any other theory as a matter of fact, is what it is - it is a theory or better a hypothesis. I was not there when the supposed evolution took place but I am hesitant to call it a myth. I respect those who dearly hold to such convictions and see everything past present and future with that lens. As a fellow Canadian, I should be given the same courtesy. However, I am excited at the fact that this has now surfaced as law and we as Canadians are not only forced but also have the opportunity to discuss it in a formal manner before the highest court in the Land. I pity the legal team who really have no leg to stand on. What is at the core of this bill: gender identity. It is time, the medical community educated the public at large and particularly the judicial world and our Parliament on matters they are totally ignorant on. Knowledge is ‘Power’ and it illuminates our understanding of complex issues. This is a medical topic and it is high time the medical community stepped in and took an active part in this growing confusion. This is where, I as a doctor who specialized in this very field have something very important to share. True most people are born as males and females and so we announce “it is a boy” or “it is girl”. However, there are times when physically speaking there is confusion and assigning a gender immediately is difficult. This topic has developed since I wrote a thesis on it in 1982 but the fundamentals remain the same. Gender is a complex equation resulting from at least 7 levels of sexual differentiation: Genetic Sex, gonadal sex, hormonal or endocrinal sex, phenotypic sex, psychological sex and finally social sex. Errors can occur at every level and sometimes on multiple levels. Each of these levels is complex in itself and arriving at a final diagnosis is not easy. Jumping to conclusions and a diagnosis being made by politicians or the neighbor next door is not the right way to go about it. As every individual is unique, not every case can be boxed into the right classification right away. Unravelling these complex cases takes time, sometimes years. Not too many doctors are even aware of this world of science let alone hospitals or clinics. And so unfortunately it has been a story of blind leading the blind. Know the saying “A little knowledge is a dangerous thing?” - C4 has exemplified it. Know the saying “Fools rush in where angels fear to tread? C4 is a perfect example. James 1:19 says, “.. take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” There is need to ascend this learning curve and this being a medical issue, medically oriented minds should go out of their way in enlightening our dear fellow Canadians that this is something we need to handle carefully and wisely. We should not make the mistake of jumping the gun and making us look foolish in the eyes of the world. Yes, the whole world is watching us as we have now rocked this boat and they are waiting to see if there is light at the end of this tunnel. This is yet again another opportunity for us as Canadians to show the world around us that we are not asleep at the wheels and that we are indeed ‘standing on guard for Thee’ !! What would our founding fathers think of all this? Our country was birthed on the foundations of faith and belief in the God of the Bible. We are and have been more than willing to accommodate folks from all walks of life and beliefs. Now the State which we unfortunately elected, feels free to rob us of our fundamental rights and dictate and tell us what to believe and think. I often sing the national anthem with teary eyes: ”God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.” Looking at it critically, the bill is full of gaping holes and raises more questions than can be answered. Whoever drafted this bill either did not realize what they were doing or simply were led astray by frenzy and fever. I feel it is only a matter of time when this balloon will be shot down and we gain back our freedom. Freedom to speak our minds, freedom to welcome people from all backgrounds, freedom to love, respect everyone including the LGBTQ2+, freedom to live in peace and harmony with fellow Canadians. What alternatives do we have? Re-write the Constitution and re-write the Charter?. If Bill C4 is left unchallenged and not revoked, be sure I will have no choice other than to head south and embrace the stars and stripes. I cannot live in a country where our very foundation is undermined and we head into a bizarre and unpredictable disastrous future.

This morning I came across your sermon and so appreciated that our Christian brothers and sisters in the US are sharing what bill C4 really means to the church in Canada how it may impact us.

Canadian Bill C-4 leaves the door open to actually criminalize the possession of the literature of the Bible and Christian scriptures. It won´t be long before the Marxist Communist Democrats also pass similar bills in the U.S. Congress. Christians in all countries must stand firm in their faith and oppose these evil laws.

John 20:23 - After saying this he breathed on them and said: Receive the Holy Spirit. (recall Genesis 2:7) 2 Corinthians 5:17-20 - "God ... has reconciled us to himself ... given us the ministry of reconciliation" James 5:14-15 - "presbyters of the church ... pray over him ... he will be forgiven" (prayer of presbyters forgives sin) See also: - Luke 22:29-30, James 5:16 After forgiveness, the need for reparation can remain. 2 Samuel 12:13-14 - "The LORD ... has forgiven your sin ... but ... child born to you must surely die" Luke 19:8-9 - (Jesus praises Zacchaeus for his promise of reparation) Penance as satisfaction for sins. Matthew 3:8 - "Produce good fruit as evidence of your repentance." 2 Corinthians 7:10 - "godly sorrow produces a salutary repentance without regret" See also: - Luke 3:8, Acts 2:38 You ARE joking right?? Are you that ignorant of the Holy Scriptures?? Lord, have mercy! You want some Bible? Here's some Bible for ya: I. Jesus Christ Granted the Apostles His Authority to Forgive Sins John 20:21 - before He grants them the authority to forgive sins, Jesus says to the apostles, "as the Father sent me, so I send you." As Christ was sent by the Father to forgive sins, so Christ sends the apostles and their successors forgive sins. John 20:22 - the Lord "breathes" on the apostles, and then gives them the power to forgive and retain sins. The only other moment in Scripture where God breathes on man is in Gen. 2:7, when the Lord "breathes" divine life into man. When this happens, a significant transformation takes place. John 20:23 - Jesus says, "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven. If you retain the sins of any, they are retained." In order for the apostles to exercise this gift of forgiving sins, the penitents must orally confess their sins to them because the apostles are not mind readers. The text makes this very clear. Matt. 9:8 - this verse shows that God has given the authority to forgive sins to "men." Hence, those Protestants who acknowledge that the apostles had the authority to forgive sins (which this verse demonstrates) must prove that this gift ended with the apostles. Otherwise, the apostles' successors still possess this gift. Where in Scripture is the gift of authority to forgive sins taken away from the apostles or their successors? Matt. 9:6; Mark 2:10 - Christ forgave sins as a man (not God) to convince us that the "Son of man" has authority to forgive sins on earth. Luke 5:24 - Luke also points out that Jesus' authority to forgive sins is as a man, not God. The Gospel writers record this to convince us that God has given this authority to men. This authority has been transferred from Christ to the apostles and their successors. Matt. 18:18 - the apostles are given authority to bind and loose. The authority to bind and loose includes administering and removing the temporal penalties due to sin. The Jews understood this since the birth of the Church. John 20:22-23; Matt. 18:18 - the power to remit/retain sin is also the power to remit/retain punishment due to sin. If Christ's ministers can forgive the eternal penalty of sin, they can certainly remit the temporal penalty of sin (which is called an "indulgence"). 2 Cor. 2:10 - Paul forgives in the presence of Christ (some translations refer to the presences of Christ as "in persona Christi"). Some say that this may also be a reference to sins. 2 Cor. 5:18 - the ministry of reconciliation was given to the ambassadors of the Church. This ministry of reconciliation refers to the sacrament of reconciliation, also called the sacrament of confession or penance. James 5:15-16 - in verse 15 we see that sins are forgiven by the priests in the sacrament of the sick. This is another example of man's authority to forgive sins on earth. Then in verse 16, James says “Therefore, confess our sins to one another,” in reference to the men referred to in verse 15, the priests of the Church. 1 Tim. 2:5 - Christ is the only mediator, but He was free to decide how His mediation would be applied to us. The Lord chose to use priests of God to carry out His work of forgiveness. Lev. 5:4-6; 19:21-22 - even under the Old Covenant, God used priests to forgive and atone for the sins of others. II. The Necessity and Practice of Orally Confessing Sins James 5:16 - James clearly teaches us that we must “confess our sins to one another,” not just privately to God. James 5:16 must be read in the context of James 5:14-15, which is referring to the healing power (both physical and spiritual) of the priests of the Church. Hence, when James says “therefore” in verse 16, he must be referring to the men he was writing about in verses 14 and 15 - these men are the ordained priests of the Church, to whom we must confess our sins. Acts 19:18 - many came to orally confess sins and divulge their sinful practices. Oral confession was the practice of the early Church just as it is today. Matt. 3:6; Mark 1:5 - again, this shows people confessing their sins before others as an historical practice (here to John the Baptist). 1 Tim. 6:12 - this verse also refers to the historical practice of confessing both faith and sins in the presence of many witnesses. 1 John 1:9 - if we confess are sins, God is faithful to us and forgives us and cleanse us. But we must confess our sins to one another. Num. 5:7 - this shows the historical practice of publicly confessing sins, and making public restitution. 2 Sam. 12:14 - even though the sin is forgiven, there is punishment due for the forgiven sin. David is forgiven but his child was still taken (the consequence of his sin). Neh. 9:2-3 - the Israelites stood before the assembly and confessed sins publicly and interceded for each other. Sir. 4:26 - God tells us not to be ashamed to confess our sins, and not to try to stop the current of a river. Anyone who has experienced the sacrament of reconciliation understands the import of this verse. Baruch 1:14 - again, this shows that the people made confession in the house of the Lord, before the assembly. 1 John 5:16-17; Luke 12:47-48 - there is a distinction between mortal and venial sins. This has been the teaching of the Catholic Church for 2,000 years, but, today, most Protestants no longer agree that there is such a distinction. Mortal sins lead to death and must be absolved in the sacrament of reconciliation. Venial sins do not have to be confessed to a priest, but the pious Catholic practice is to do so in order to advance in our journey to holiness. Matt. 5:19 - Jesus teaches that breaking the least of commandments is venial sin (the person is still saved but is least in the kingdom), versus mortal sin (the person is not saved). Please....take a class in "Basic Christianity 101" that includes study of the Church before 1600 A.D.
