Did you know Paul Rodgers was born to be a rock star, when he and his band left for the smoke as young lad, the van broke down on the way, his then band mates came back, but he continued to London on his own. He was so young when he got his first recording contract that his mum had to sign it😊

Bad Company was my favorite growing up in the 80's as a teen. I wore out my cassette tape, Ten From Six. Check out Feel Like Makin Love, Ready For Love, Shooting Star, Do Right By Your Woman.. All Fire!!

3:57 It's a sound made on a guitar using an effects pedal. It's meant to represent the sound of a bullet whistling past your head. You can hear this sound really low in the background throughout the slow parts of the song.

I know this is an older reaction, but I first heard this song 50 years ago when it came out in 1974. You stopped it on a line that says "Chose a gun And threw away the Sun" and it sounds like he says Sun. But there is also lyrics out there that says, . "Chose a gun And threw away the sword" I think Choosing a gun and throwing away a sword would be the more appropriate line. But he could have said Sun.
Well depends how you choose to think about it. As for myself I like the sun when you put in perspective of suicide. Sun presents light , light represents life. If you choose the gun there is an old saying turn your lights out. Or like sun setting on your life. You chose the gun and threw away your life. If that makes sense
And I had no idea what his song was that old.

I saw bad company live but as a youngin I don't think I appreciated him as much as others would have it was cool though.
Seeing them play this song gave me mad goosebumps they were only opening maybe that's why it felt like a half show. love this track.
