- A black girl went into a bridal salon to try on a dress, but the shop assistant was behaving oddly. The consultant swiftly increased the price of the dress and refused to let the woman try it on. The bride realized that she was simply being discriminated against because of her skin color. Will the woman be able to achieve justice?

What is your dream wedding?
Racism defined and resolved from a whyte person's perspective 🤣🤣🤣🤣....And if she was engaged to a BLACK MAN how would you have resolved the matter???
@@wandaanderson8779 Simple, Wanda, a Black man would never have hired those White racists a-holes in the first place if he were the owner.
My dream wedding has nothing to do with a location, any particular attire, or how many people are present (fewer the better), but rather, marrying someone who has their heart connected with their brain and spirit, and who deeply and genuinely loves me as much as I love them. ❤
Not spending a bunch of money on a few hours of ceremony but putting that money towards a purchase that will come to something house car and so on
My dream wedding is perfectly done! Because I married to the man I love. A very loving, caring, understanding, responsible, supportive and love everything about me as a person..
Even if she did mention that her husband owned the place. They would have called her a liar.
Exactly
Also there really is no reason for her to tell them who her groom is just so she gets treated right. They should have treated her respectfully no matter who the groom is or what her appearance is like
Damn straight!
Agreed 💯% even who is her groom it doesn't relate at all
Seriously everyone has the right to go into a store and shop whether they are black,Mexican or whatever we are all people with the same blood.
there is a chinese restaurant near where I work.....every wednesday, they have a roast duck with rice on special....for the past 2 weeks, I made an attempt to buy, but they tell me that they ran out of that special. So now, I kinda boycott that place and go to other eateries. plus....everytime then when I showed up, the order takers would talk chinese in front of my face.
@@lonelypigeon7562 that is so wrong I would post a comment complaining about the service to let others know and not go in there.also look to see if they have more locations that are near you.
@@lonelypigeon7562 You are so correct in boycotting the store. It is obvious what is going on here. They want to only sell to people that they consider "regular customers" that they think "can truly appreciate" their special dish. I have experienced the same thing. The "special" is special for only their select clientele and when I pushed to purchase the food, because I could plainly see that they had the special item in the display case, they flat out told me that they only had enough food prepared for their special regular clients. I stopped going there and I told other people what had happened. Their special clients in the end could not keep their bakery in business and the bakery had to eventually close. Actually, this would make the basis of an interesting DramatizeMe episode.

When you judge someone by their appearance, it doesn't define who they are, it defines who you are!!
Never judge someone by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character!!

@@itsmers193 What she is saying by her appearance is that because she is black they wouldn't let her try on the wedding dress!!
I agree we should never judge anyone based on they skin color we can only judge people based on choices they make. If they kind careing and good people the judgement is good if they asshole and mean and racist people the judgement they will not like.
@itsmeRs the fact that she's black. That's what the comment was saying. Everyone judge black people.

How can someone be a regular customer in wedding dress store? Like they keep divorcing every year? 😂
All their friends keep getting married, so they come to get dresses?
What if she's a wedding agent. Deals in gowns
Yep
In the United States you can be a regular customer in a dress store.
Haha 😂love your comments 😂
Instead of arguing with racists, it is better to walk away and go to a better place where you are treated equally.
In almost every cases but for this story you can see why because this store was actually her fiance's shop so naturally you would want a dress from your own fiance's shop instead of going to others.

You can end racism through these art work
You can also end it by not hammering the fallacy that whites are 100% the problem.
No
Actually, no. This is one illustration of a racial issue I have seen in social media. no matter how many anti-racist films they post. Racism cannot be stopped by it. Racism will always exist as long as people have ego qualities and believe themselves to be better than others. But self-awareness is the most effective strategy for ending racism. It doesn't matter what race you are or what colour your skin is; diversity is what makes us one.
Sorry to say this but racism will never end Once something has happened for 100 years It's very unlikely to stop
The repetition of these videos won't end racism unfortunately

I don't know how well it would work, but sometimes I think the person being discriminated against should shame the person by saying, "It's because I'm black (or brown) isn't it? Are they even using their brains?! They could just wait outside the changing room when she changes to prevent her from running away. If they did suspect that she was going to steal the dress and I am pretty sure her willingly gave the staff the money money means she is PAYING for it.
If her future husband designed the dress and owns the shop why was she paying for the dress also I'd love to meet people like those shop staff because I'd give each of them a hard slap
I think she wanted it to be a surprise.

Absolutely agree with you, Michelle Brunache. Thanks for commenting! 🤗❤
The ultimate irony of this video is that the owner of the boutique "created [the] wedding salon to help every girl feel special in anticipation for the biggest day of their lives" and his own fiance was turned away FROM HIS STORE. That is great writing. What is amazing to me is that the way the store manager was played, he did not seem to grasp that was he did was unacceptable in today's society and it was like, "oh, well, we are fired for no good reason, we have to leave, next job." He continues to play the aloof fool of each video he is in. But there are people like that that never learn and do not get it. The two other actors portrayed sincere regret at what they had done. All around, great acting in this video. The bride actor really played her role well, and awoke all kinds of sympathy for her character and I really felt for her character. This was a great video and had the perfect ending as a comment on racism and the irony of life.
Thanks a lot for your great comment, Richard! It's always a pleasure to read it ❤️
That's why we should not only rely on an applicant's I.Q. We should also rely on their E.Q as well before we hire them.

This scenario is so stupid. I'm a black person and if I was treated that way in a white owned store, I would just leave and take my money where I'm given a non-racial service
Not stupid, true you and most would go elsewhere, only it is her fiances store so why would she? Not only would they not give her great services but treated her very badly. Also the film shows how they try to brown nose and act like it was only her and maybe not all dark skin people. Also that IF they had known she was his soon to be, they would have treated her differently. Also not right to treat someone differently due to status. I am old now, I am so called white, but I also do not allow others to treat me differently or even speak to me in a poor tone. One thing here. I do not know about others but for me, yes, I am old and I am sometimes sad about that and it bothers me that some say oh, your such a sweet old lady or put MISS in front of my name. Other things as well. Please do not remind me I am old is what I want to say to them. Anyway, hope you see the good in this film and how just maybe someone will check themselves and do better.
@@LadydogC I'm black but some people call me brown skin due to my great grandfather being white. I'm from the Caribbean and in my country we have racism also, but I don't bow to people at all. One day I went by some of my white relatives and they treated me with disdain and I had not appreciated it. Because, when the old folks were alive I was welcome at their home as custom but at they deaths I was no longer wanted by the children because of my complexion. And you know what! I never suck up to them and they are my family so why bow to those who are not. It is very simple, if those are the employees he has working for him and that is the way they are behaving. I'll just leave and take it up with him and let him deal with the situation.
As a black person, when a store is like this... I go somewhere else if they dont want me to buy the dress.
Really man... People who down on others and make their assumptions on them because of their skin colour is really absurd...

It trips me out how this hate across the globe is serious. Now if there were black stores that cover these same designs, I can hear all of the other cultures saying that black people doesn't allow others into their stores just their own culture. It's always stories about direspecting us for the color of our skin. Slavery started in 1492 this is 2022 and writers still using our skin color of a way to belittle us. The stories should stop right here. 😔 😔
Once upon a time all cultures and races were slaves and discriminated against but it's easier to come from another country and use the black people as the most hated. I will not watch any more of these cops, store owners, and other mean things about my race. Sorry enough is enough.

This young beautiful woman should be having a wonderful experience trying on dresses for the most beautiful and important occasion of her life ❤
First, allowing another associate trying her dress on. Then accusing:all of them are potential thieves "!!!!!! Disgusting

As if that would ever happen.
