This was a great video. It breaks the boundaries of a brittle mind. It is interesting that the director states that this is theater arts. What is more art than great acting. What was wonderful was that Alexandra played the actress selected as Snow White and she acquitted herself quite well. It would have been fun to see Istan as the faux critic, but that actor also did an excellent job. Though, while the director was describing the fellow, I am thinking those words describe Istan. Oh well, Istan must not have been available or the director was thinking it might have sent the wrong message for the story. The actor that played the critic was an excellent choice. His line. "And now, everyone has seen your true face" was great writing. Thank you DramatizeMe for another great video that was better than Netflix! I really liked the sound editing, stage work and camera work. Excellent Job!
It seems to me that working on the sets of DramatizeMe for 3 moths would be the equivalent to working any where else in the dramatic arts for a year. To be an intern on their sets should be a dream come true for those that wish a career in the dramatic arts. It is all screen magic! Amazing!

Like, yes snow white is indeed white, but if the roles were reversed, you wouldn't want to make Tiana white, because she's a black character. She could've gave her a role just as important or even more, or even in another play. I'm not trying to discriminate but that's what I think
Then, why they don't change genders or age of the characters? White people will never play African dances, so natural and wild, because people couldn't believe that, it wouldn't be natural. Or could you imagine Chinese in those dances? Playing black characters, white actors use make-up to cover the skin, - because that's about professionalism first of all! So, Snow-White is white... It shouldn't matter who plays the lead character as long as the actress puts her heart and soul into the role. The director was being extremely unfair. I felt the same way with the newest live-action Little Mermaid film that's being released next year. I'm certain Halle Bailey will do a great job. Though if someone else actually does play a different version of Snow White, her description used in the fairy tales and original films, especially by the magic mirror may have to be edited because the "skin white as snow" bit may not make sense to the audience. Talent has no color, creed, gender, or age. If you have it, you should be given a shot no matter your walk of life. Merit and a person's character should always come first. Clearly first role wasn't gifted enough she had to practice her line so much she lost her voice where as the other actress had a natural knack for remembering lines. Talent always wins.
I live by basic moral codes, see a need- fill a need, always choose kindness first, ask first if help is needed for roads to hell are paved with forced good intentions, learn the face of fear so you can be a shining light in its darkness, never judge a wrapper- could be the best thing you've ever had.

The fact she was been mean and the way she was ,that was racist but the fact to want to get someone that matches the character from the story ex. As white as snow there is nothing wrong or racist about that 🤔 it basically matches the description of the fictional character.

If the character is white then a white person should play it to be authentic but on the other hand there will be also a black character so a black person or Asian (Asian character) can play it. This is my advice as a very white person. Everyone deserves a chance

Amazing skit but aside from when the woman tried to that black man of the theater because he was black which is racist , i don't see racism in refusing someone to play snow white to a black/asian woman . i mean her name is snow WHITE , black women can play every character they want ( ariel , cinderella .... ) but not when the character's name refences her sksin color , it really doesn't make any sense to me honestly. like for example you can't pick a white actor to play Black Panther . people should not see everything as racist , real racism is to see oneself superior to another person because of skin color.

Talent has no color, creed, gender, or age. If you have it, you should be given a shot no matter your walk of life. Merit and a person's character should always come first. Clearly first role wasn't gifted enough she had to practice her line so much she lost her voice where as the other actress had a natural knack for remembering lines. Talent always wins.
I live by basic moral codes, see a need- fill a need, always choose kindness first, ask first if help is needed for roads to hell are paved with forced good intentions, learn the face of fear so you can be a shining light in its darkness, never judge a wrapper- could be the best thing you've ever had.
I developed these codes through my life, I had lived a life of discrimination due to first being a foster kid unnecessarily (stolen by the state for profit) then becoming disabled from my military service. I chose to use my life as a lesson and not be a victim.
