Yes. The scammer impersonated Federal Agent Van Morrison and wanted me to pay using CVS gift cards. I collected all the information I could, like the mailing address of where I was to mail the gift cards. I immediately called the FBI and gave them all the information I collected, including the recording of the beginning of the conversation, where he gave his fake badge number. Three months later they arrested everyone at the mailing address and the call center, including Federal Manager Van Morrison. Unfortunately, the top three people or the entire operation I am told fled with millions and never were brought t justice.
So glad that Gerald went the extra mile to twist things to save Liam from legal trouble. The performance of actor that played the scam boss was also freaking awesome, Oscar worthy.
This was an amazing video. If you believe that videos on DramatizeMe are connected, this is the old soldier that was a homeless veteran and had to sell his medal to get flowers for a soldier under his command. The character played by Billy that was a florist shop owner hired the elderly veteran and he is now quite successful now being a partner with Billy is the flower shop chain and hence now this story. He was given a chance and now he returns the favor in life in this story. Thank you DramatizeMe for once more giving me a story that moved me to tears. You have great actors, great writers and great directors and you also have a great crew and experts in camera work, sound and make-up and I love your sets. Kudos to all that make your shows possible!

This story made me cry. I miss my son so much. When I and his father got separated I left him with his father for his good future as that time I was not capable of anything. One more thing, he loves his father and so attached with him. So I gave in though, and that was the hardest thing and painful thing I have ever done in my whole life. Good story. We often get bank warning messages that we should not part with OTPs, CVVs and debit/credit card details to anyone. And yet some get trapped and cheated unknowingly and get robbed.
As someone who got scammed, it's just sad. It might not be 5K but more like 50$, it's still sad. There never is true justice in this world and that's just the very sad truth.
I've been scammed too of my hard earned money from my bank accounts last year. Money was withdrawn out from my bank without my authorisation as my phone was hacked and l lost almost all the money l had. Reported to the bank, the police, the National Bank and Consumer Association but none of these bodies could help me get my money back. The police was the worst as they assured me from the beginning that my chances of getting back what l lost was 1%. They didn't bother to investigate or follow the money trail as they said it would waste their time. The bank said it is not liable or be held responsible for my loss and even worse they said they could not disclose the info of the account that received my money. I have given up of ever receiving back a single sen. Only hoping those scammers will receive their karma back and burn in hell one day!
I look forward everyday to see when a new video is posted 😊in life we all go make mistakes ,but it's how you learn from them is the big issue so many ppl do get scam one way or the other by others who just don't want to work for themselves but it's good to see he man up and do the right thing

I hate to see short minded people like these scammers think it'll be OK for the seniors to lose their possessions because they die soon. We must learned that: - we will grow up as adults and our parents will become old. And then one day we'll also reach their age. I'm sure you won't your old folks or your old self be treated the same way you treat your old clients; - we were definitely bring into this world by our parents to be part of their family. So it's certain that someone else like this oldman tend to have a family of his own. We should aware that he could inherit his wealth and properties to his next of kins & not to feed scammers. Never ever ever in your life give bank information to anyone over the phone. Never ever ever do that. Never ever. It's a dumb thing to do. Don't ever do it just say I'll come up there and go from there rather than over the phone. As for the cops they would still investigate even arrest that guy and as for the old man actor he did fantastic but lying to police they would still not believe him and that main character would be arrested for sure. Scamming this senior citizen over the HP was a terrible thing, they want instant money!!! Moral compass is lacking, someone needs to teach the scammers some humility and make them apologize!!! Police will be there to handcuff these scammers, it really caused Mr Thorwood his heart attack!!! Damn !!!
The good thing was that Liam could make everything right at the end. The scammed people should be glad that he had joined that call centre which scams people as ultimately, it was because of them that even some other victims got their money back 🎈
