So they opened Thailand and now they think 150k homes are now going to sell for 180k? It will take another year or more to even get back to 2020 $.

@@jirapropertythailand THB has taken a dive with in last few weeks (just temporary) but today when you post this it would be 171,087.00 usd. I never said this home was 180k just that Thailand thinks it is all over now and the stupid frangs will come in by the millions and overpay even though the market is flooded, and frangs can not buy property without twisting the laws. There doesn’t seem to be any desire to change the situation by the Thai gov either. BTW, there is still the mask mandate and I don’t see people not waiting till all that is lifted. Sorry I wrote so much, I have a couple Thai lawyer acquaintances and we speak of this on a daily basis.

That is an asking price. Secondly, your statement about the Baht to US dollar means you are clueless to finance. If I can now get 34.8 Baht for $1 USD vs two weeks ago I could get 33.2 Baht for $1USD and I am an American buying a piece of property then I have more buying power with my USD! Have you ever purchased a piece of real estate for the asking price?
Lastly, at today's price of the Baht, 34.29 it would take approximately $172.5k US dollars. Not $180k.
