How can we watch it in America
Not great to be having another different subscription, but I'll do it just for the show. Quick question though, does it come in the entertainment only package? I ask because it mentions no Motorsport and I don't know how they categorised it

I think it is absolutely wonderful what Hammond is doing here! Keeping it relatable. He's swiftly turning into the most likeable person on the planet. The excitement is real and everyone who loves classic cars feels the same. The Manta... geez, they were a movement in Germany (two big and awful but funny feature films about them). Much success with this effort! This is brilliant! Keeping those historical cars alive is just very important. Glad he is doing this! I salute you, Sir!

I gasped when I saw them. Pristine.
The old ones often rolled over in rallyes without much damage and kept driving, it's no surprise Hammond is drawn to them.

I spoke to Richard on this day at the NEC back in March... He was ace. As a fellow classic car enthusiast it was refreshing to see him so genuinely excited about his current field.

@@Thisath100 I don't think it's always that long. These videos are being released alongside season 2 of Hammond's Workshop, which is airing now - that's why they're so delayed.

Richard, I know the feeling. As a petrolhead you realize how old you are by seeing the cars of your youth becoming 'classics'.
Just means you are classic as well!
Not so much a classic yet. But realising how old the Evo 10 is now (I still remember it being new) makes me feel old, same with the R35. Can't forget the FG Falcon for Australia and New Zealand. All three are over a decade old, heck. The Evo is practically old enough to have a learners license.
As a Swede I'm happy to see both SAAB and Volvo getting some love

Opinions and all that but personally I'd like to see those three kept away from this and this more honest, likeable version of Richard.
The other two are far too sardonic, bitter, cheerfully miserable and now quite annoying. No thanks.
I Love this! love the way Richard expresses a sincere, genuine love and same passion as us regular Joe's have for our project cars.

Love the fact you had a mantra and it got a shout out I’m 32 and it was my childhood car when I was born to about 8 years old lots of great memories and brake downs many fuel lines would love to get one for my old man again he had the top one I think it’s a gte if I remember right.
I think Hammond was advertising his security company as they were hardly out of the shot!

You know you've had a long automotive journalist career when some of the cars you reviewed when new are now considered classics. Have to agree with Hammond, the P1800 is a "gorgeous thing."

give it a black bonnet and it will be my late dads car, i was brought back from hospital on the back shelf and I always think of him when I see one. its on my bucket list to own and recreate that car so look after it and I will live vicariously through your adventures with it. loving your work Rich and the team.
I do love the Panasports. I had a set of those for my '84 Mazda Rx-7 race car. Super light, classic look.

I love this real version of Richard Hammond. On the tele I guessed he was trying a bit hard to be funny or whatever but just seeing him like this is so nice.

My 19 year old daughter just told me she is watching the old top gear. She remembers being a kid and us watching! And she's faster then me now karting! Thanks for the memories

It looks so odd to see Hammond with security, you never see them like that anywhere. I get why they're there, don't get me wrong, just a little weird.

Hammond is in absolute heaven with all this. Seeing all those great classics from a lot of different manufacturers of the world. He's never played the Playstation's most popular game Gran Turismo. Cause there are many other rare classics he's never seen before. Something like the Abarth 1500 Bapisto from 1952.

I have to say that I've owned many of the cars Richard spoke about and All of them evoke fond memories including several Hillman GT Hunters, Morris Mini's and Austin 1800's along with classic 144 volvos, 122's, SAAB's etc
Love or hate them they drove me to work and now the buggers are classics.
Seeing the blurred car I could tell it was likely a BGT. As a lifelong MG fan, it was easy to discern its distinct shape.
So happy I subbed to this channel
I was pleased Hammond didn't disappoint and referred to motorsport as being a crucible as is tradition.
GFL 305N was my dad's old car. Colour scheme came from a toy anglia he found. Fun memories with the car. I was about 4 when he had it

Antique MGs will always have a special place in my heart. I learned to drive on my father's 76 MGB. Wasn't anything fancy but it was a fun car to take out and go for a drive with the top down in Hawaii

I loved that Top Gear Episode, that MG is such a cute little car, Jeremy’s fiat was fiery and Italian, James’s Peugeot was a French beauty. Even though it was the very last Top Gear episode, it’s sort of sad and sweet at the same time.
What's terrifying is this little man walk-in behind you what looks like he's appearing as your 3 foot ninja wow isn't that calling the kettle black

MAHLE did a great promotion for downsizing engines and their 3 cylinder version back in 2011

... for the last 10 years they slowly reappeared in small cars..
while the asian market always kept the smaller turbocharged ones because of their tax regulations
