Fortunately, by the grace of God I got introduced to the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. On reading Bhagavan's teachings I have felt that Bhagavan has never given any indirect explanation like in several teachings. Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi's teachings are simple and direct. His life perfectly matched to his teachings and Bhagavan illustrated all along his life entire 24 hours of the day.
What is wrong in accepting life as it is, happiness is dependent and comes with expiry date. This is the normal. Why aspire for a different way of life with permanent happiness at all. Life is a mixed chain of events of happiness and sorrow and i am ok with it. Why take to spirituality at all?
Nice question! Yes, it is normal to have pleasure and pain and unavoidable too. However, pain can stretch into suffering and trauma, if not addressed properly. Spirituality helps us to remain anchored in our essential nature while dealing with pleasure and pain with equanimity and with a sense of assurance.
Thank you, slowly I am connecting

Neither there is happiness nor sorrow, if you penetrate deep you'll come to realise.
