Very good video. I will add one point on the negotiation part of your video, charismatic. It may sound odd, but having the the right charisma can make a whole lot of difference when negotiating with people. Perhaps you can add that on your next video. Thank you and Cheers.

Brilliant video. Improving negotiation skills is vital. It’s not necessarily a skill per se, but I saw great benefit from spending time with customer facing members of staff. Getting a better understanding of their daily concerns over data protection definitely helped me carve out better training.
Not sure if you’ve done a video on this before, but something regarding data subject complaints, especially where they are looking to weaponise GDPR for financial gain would be good.

Thanks Adrian, glad you enjoyed it! I did do a video on dealing with customer complaints which may answer some of your questions, if not, let me know and I’ll do something more tailored! ruclips.net/video/MQNOhzUPZtY/видео.html

Excellent video. Congratulations for your channel. Perhaps another skill of the DPO is to create personal data process maps.

Thank you for this perfect video. I am a new DPO what are the main courses that may help me develop my carrier and help make me professional DPO?

There are two main course for DPO's the first is the IAPP CIPP course iapp.org/certify/cipp/ and other is the BCS Data Protection Certificate (this is UK focussed though) www.bcs.org/qualifications-and-certifications/certifications-for-professionals/gdpr-and-data-protection-certifications/bcs-practitioner-certificate-in-data-protection/ both will give you an advantage and help you develop your knowledge base.

Thank you for sharing this. Understanding the company's needs, developing solutions that are appropriate for its values and functioning, and negotiating with them... It's a lot better than saying no to everything. :) I wish you a happy new year.

Amazing as always. I have a question, can DPO under GDPR be located outside EU / UK ? This seems to be common case for companies which are outside EU or UK but processing PII of EU or UK resident. I believe in their case, DPO can be outside provided there is a UK or EU representative in place.

Thank you! The DPO can arguably be based anywhere, as long as they have the relevant skills, experience and access to the business to deliver the role. If the company is outside of the EU/UK as you say and don't have a presence/office in those places then they need a representative. The representative cannot act as the DPO though!
