I'm actually glad you knocked out all the collabs these talented guys have done together. But there was never any winner between these guys, they all kill each part giving amazing perspectives on each piece. I will say Manuel's part on "in the cut" and Ichika's entrance here at 5:32 touch the soul differently. Tastefully written by gods
This is certainly an interesting way of showcasing all of these matches. Honestly, Manuel cut Tim's head in their showdown but Tim definitely had the edge of Ichika in their showdown. Since I also believe that Manuel won the vs against Ichika in their showdown I guess I'd have to give the overall win to Manuel.
First of all there is not winner all three are best they have different style of playing and one or two songs can't decide who is better and comparison dosent means how fast they are what matters is how they play smoothly with proper tone. From my conclusion all three are best in their field Ichika with his awesome tapping and math rock style, Manuel gardener with with percussive strumming and Tim with his Prague metallic style
It's like picking my favorite kid ... publicly I have to say I love love them all equally. But at night, as I tuck each of them in, I whisper in each of their ears ... " you are my favorite " ... LMFAO Also Im kinda biased here. After "PLAYING GOD" ... There is only Tim Henson. These other guys are great players but they dont write albums worth of songs. These other two are not demonstrating what it takes to work with a band. Riff masters and gifted Noodlers ... but they aren't Tim Henson.
Both Ichika and MGF are in their respective bands Ichikor for Ichika and Unprocessed for Manuel. I would say that probably the main difference between the three of them are their processes of creating music. Tim explained his process a lot of times in his videos while i havent had the slightest idea about Ichika and Manuel. Ichika on the other hand started as a classical pianist. I dont know much about Manuel.
Ichika Nito also has his band "Dios" (you might know it but just in case you didn't), but that's more of a song based band than a technical instrumental band.
@@zerocat888 ive been following Ichika since 2012 i guess. The time when he releases a bell is not a bell and when hes into shredding and heaven metal was coined. Ive heard of Dios as well. Pretty good stuff.
If you think Tim is the King, you are definitely biased. They are pretty much at the same level skill wise. Tim is king “for you” because it’s your music taste, which might not be the same for others.
i love this new style/generation of guitar playing. they killin it
You are not wrong!
bro I can't decide on one it's like choosing mom or dad
🤣😂😈
I would say that they are like children I a family. Tim is the oldest one, Ichika is the youngest and Fernandes is middle child of the family.

Thank you! I couldn't choose so I put that decision on you all that know way more about this genre than I do.
Give Ichika vs Marcin a go. They have an Acoustic vs Electric battle that's nuts
Has another contestant entered the ring?
@@cafetrey Oh he doesn't know 😈
Get crazy, do ichika vs Charles Berthoud 😜
i think were the winners for getting to listen to this great and creative music and incredible talent
You are 💯 percent correct
I just found your channel and I'm definitely gonna keep comin back! Ik you're a fan of bass so I'd recommend either crush or so strange from polyphia!
Awesome thank you! I have both of those recorded. Just need to edit and upload them 😂
@@cafetrey sick! I look forward to seeing them

It's awesome to see fans of this genre all have their own unique takes on who won, and why.
I have to agree here. They're all obviously incredible... but Manuel had it by a round. Manuel-2, Ichika-1, Tim-1 for me at least
It's Rock, Paper, Scissors
Round 1: Ichika
Round 2: MGF
Round 3: Tim
Nice breakdown. Very similar to my choice
1. Tim
2. Ichika
3. Manuel
It’s crazy how almost everyone has a different list

You summarized my thoughts perfectly. They are all so good in their own right.
@@cafetrey so all three should get a bonus
Agreed
theres only one winner here bro,its.....us, the fans , seeing these monsters.....
"Japanese Assassin" 😂
😁😁 He is a machine.
This got a thumbs up solely because of the Mad Max reference, but I was prolly going to anyway.
🔥🤘. I figured very few people would know where that come from. I'm old so it was part of my childhood.
@@cafetrey "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... Dyin' time's here." I can quote the whole movie from memory.
We win 😅

There can only be one true Champion!
They are all so different and yet so similar in many ways. We are lucky to have them

Polyphia is king, even they know it. They called two of their songs G.O.A.T and Playing God, they know what they're doing
But is Tim the king?
@@cafetrey absofuckinlutely, his ability to play to any track and sound like he owns it is incredible

Bruh they're all too good for different reasons. You can't lol
lol it's impossible for me to choose
2018 ichika would solo them all
Those sound like them fighting words 🤣
Ichika "Orb" Thank me later 😂
I smell a setup 🤦♂️
Ichika ftw xD
😊😊
Tim won
I can't choose 😭
