I enjoy watching creative and dedicated musicians pushing limits and concepts and providing a base for other great musicians to grab and implement. Appreciate your breakdowns and like to see your wheels turning watching these guys.
What a monster track 😱😱😱 It really does your head in, the way they both approach their instrument and genres, neverming shredding… 💥💥 I wonder if you’ve heard of Swedish fusion trio Dirty Loops? Their bassist Henrik Linder, also a fan of Poliphia and Tim Henson, is one of the most out there bassists at the mo. Check out their newest release “Run Away” to sample some of Henrik’s wizardry, -or any other of their songs for that matter. No guitar in this band, so Henrik does it all on bass 🔥🔥🔥 I’d like to hear what you think of them. Enjoy ☺️🤘✌️👍
You got the right pronunciation for Ichika. Only minor thing is stress placement. In Japanese stress is marked purely with pitch (English uses pitch, volume and sometimes syllable length). I'm not 100% sure, but I think the correct stress placement would be on the first I, with the following chi being devoiced such that the I in chi is barely heard so it sounds more like "Ichka" to English speakers.
@@PrymalChaos devoiced vowels are common in Japanese (for example, the common word "desu" is often pronounced with the u being devoiced sounding more like "dess"). But yeah as far as vowel quality and such, you got it right on.
Two amazing guitarists. If you liked this I recommend you watch Marcin and Ichika Nito “Acoustic vs Electric”. Marcin was the acoustic player at the end of Jared Dines shred collab that you watched. It’s an insane collab. ruclips.net/video/3vXJc5SFW-I/видео.html
@@PrymalChaos You’re welcome! Marcin is a phenomenal guitarist. I’ve never seen anyone play like him. He’s also an exclusive Ibanez artist like Tim and Ichika. Ibanez seems to like partnering with very innovative players.
ichicka nito does alot of tapping ive noticed not that much in this video exsactly but alot of his other videos he taps alot. but he can play just about any style of guitar very well honestly.
There are a bunch other good ones from Ichicka like ichika x yvette - sprout (ruclips.net/video/oeRUCBCOjjg/видео.html Yvette is usually way more tappy than this) and Guitar VS Bass TAPPING BATTLE(ft. Charles) (ruclips.net/video/W56Y4pPm5xs/видео.html)
if you want more virtuosic guitar playing in the math rock field i highly suggest covet. the guitarist Yvette Young is a fucking masterclass ruclips.net/video/FTxSXUzc96A/видео.html

This is honestly one of my favorite pieces he has put together.
