I wouldn't mind seeing a review on maybe the first episode, just for a touch of context for the trailer. Otherwise just kill it. Kill it with fire and leave it to die!
What saddens me the most is that Channel Chaser's literally ended with showing that Timmy has two kids that get his faries in the future. They could've easily have just focused on the hijinks of Timmy's future children, but instead they decide to focus on character's that have never once been brought up in the show.
Right! Especially since those who grew up watching Fairly Oddparents since it came out are about in their late 20’s and early 30’s the age Adult Timmy would be around so that not only new comers(kids) can like it, but adults too who grew up watching the show when it begun
This honestly just looked like any other modern Nick sitcom, but this one just so happened to have the Fairly Oddparents. Makes me sad as someone who grew up on the original show.
You know if this was completely animated this could work. Making a live action Fairly Odd Parents is a pretty bad idea. It limits potential plot lines and you are restricted to the same few locations. You can't do Just Deserts in live action.
*"Fairly Odder isn't made for you"* You're right. To me, Fairly Oddparents died when Sparky and Chloe were introduced, and now, with this new show, we're seeing a zombie being brought back to life. And yes, I was one of the few people who didn't mind Poof as a character.
You know what, I think poof worked okay, but ya fuck Chloe and Sparky. I will say this Sparky seems worse than Chloe if for nothing else he is basically Cosmo but a dog, Chloe at least was a different type of character though not a very good one.
They tried, somehow ended up being generally more faithful than this, other than its own flaws. Like Tootie being all wrong and them bending the rules of the fairies too much rather than writing within the rules the show set up. The characters in the live action (except Tootie) also at least looked and acted like their cartoon counterparts. Though they might have worked if they were animated.
@@TheAlphaJayShow you know I never watched a single episode of farly odd parents and now I don't know if I can with this garbage trailer for this revival
@@ArnoldStark123 up until poof showed up it was good. Even after poof I liked it tbh, but I stopped watching t.v. around that point so that also fell out. The first movie was amazing though, seriously. The channel surfing was super fun and the actual plot was great
I thought this was finally put to rest after the show ended. I did not expect a spin-off/sequel/reboot. I probably would be more open to this had later seasons of Fairly Oddparents didn’t exist. End on a good note that left a good impression to give some faith in this new project. Because Cosmo and Wanda being with different godkids is interesting on paper, especially if they have to share them as family. How would it work? What could happen if the kids made counter wishes or undid the others wishes? Very interesting concepts that I don’t think the newer creators could pull off.
I feel fairly oddparents should have ended after season 8 because meet the oddparents was a pretty good episode and had Timmy magic and normal life meet that would have been a perfect finale
Ned's Declassified is the live action Fairy Odds. You got Guy Moon as the composer, Cosmo's Voice actor as the janitor, and even that one episode where Cosmo and Wanda made a cameo.
The humor also felt a lot closer to Fairly odd parents than this show does and didn't have so much icarly random noises = funny, or this level of "hey fellow kids'' energy in it.
No, they deserve their criticism, this just happens to be even worse. The old live action movies were terribly written but tried to at least seen like the original show. This, doesn't.
I’m all for reboots but fairly odd parents is just not one of these shows that needs one. It literally got taken out because of seasonal rot and having exhausted every resource it can. Combined with the fact the show has only been gone for five years, butch falling off in quality and the fact that the series will already be limited by it not being animated. Like this is going to flop guaranteed because the franchise needs some rest.
The thing I find the most annoying is that there’s so many older nick shows they could’ve chosen like Danny phantom , Jimmy Neutron , my life as a teenage robot , Chalk zone , etc but they chose the Fairly oddparents which is still showing episodes on nicktoons when they could’ve remade or given a sequel to a bunch of older shows that aren’t played anymore.
@@stardogsmasher6217 This. Nick sees popular franchise that made them money, and dollar signs appear in their eyes because they know that can make more money by churning out garbage so long as it has the familiar characters.
Nickelodeon: when it comes to the fairly odd parents what do people want? Me: A proper series finale Nickelodeon: you’re right alive action reboot Me: wait what
Why would u expect kids to see that and why do u care if it's rehashed that literally shouldn't matter it's not going matter to a child all that matters is if they like the show or not
If this was written by the same team as Ned’s declassified school survival guide it could work. Dean norris plays Gordy and is the closest thing to a live action cartoon. Hell even the SpongeBob crew does live action better
No it couldn't work . Your ignoring one of the big factors at play here they have a very small bugdet with very limited props and tech they can't pull off a fairy odd parents sitcom it just won't work
Thanks for reminding me of the Looney Tunes Show as a great way to shake up and modernize old characters. Daffy wasn't an angry old rival of Bugs; instead they coexisted Odd Couple-style. Everyone else was able to fit into this weird suburban AU and it was STILL able to put the characters in wacky humorous situations so they could still do their thing--being slapstick or scheming. The show even made Lola Bunny interesting. LOLA. FROM SPACE JAM. Remember her? That show made me remember her again.
I think my biggest gripe with this new show is that it just feels like your standard nick sitcom and not like it’s from fairy odd parents. At least the live action movies, for how bad they are, still felt like it was fairy odd parents.
Honestly, they could have done a sequel series with Timmy’s kids at the end of channel chasers, with the sibling rivalry dynamic them fighting and undoing wishes like a post below said, but also maybe show that Timmy’s kids struggle with relating to their dad, but Cosmo and Wanda show them that they aren’t too different from their dad since he was their god kid. It would have also been maybe a little bitter sweet for cosmo and Wanda they get to still be indirectly a part of Timmy’s life without him knowing. In the hands of better writers we could have had something.
It would have been better if the Fairly Odder could have focused on Timmy's children instead of creating new characters to focused on that destroyed the quality of the animated show.
@JayLeeBeanz Maybe that could have been part of the plot. Maybe he wants to make up for being so childish when he was little so in the reboot he has to go to work a lot to feel like an adult/he's matured. This leads his kids to feel alone so they get Cosmo and Wanda. Then it kinda becomes a thing where Timmy is trying to grow up too fast, so his kids try to get him to become childish with them and it's like heart warming or something like that. A bit of a stretch, but it could use some tweaking
I might not be the only one who noticed, but doesn't it sound like Cosmo and Wanda's voice actor's are really disinterested and are just giving a phoned in performance?
Just the tone of this show alone feel's nothing like the Fairly Odd Parent's it really is just some by the numbers sitcom that would've been parodided and made fun of by the original show. It's hilarious that the short crossover with Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide was more faithful to the show in both tone and personality despite Cosmo and Wanda only appearing for a few minutes.
I'm just hoping that one day we'll have a live-action/animated Nickelodeon show with actual thought and effort put into it. But it looks like that's not happening anytime soon.
Not only that, they could make Viv and Roy not related to Timmy and give them different last name. What meant to say is, they should give Viv and Roy different godparents other than Cosmo and Wanda and they are not related to Timmy while setting it in the same universe as FOP.
Look on the bright side; at least there not In *CGI* anyone. Anyone want to bet Roy Is actually Remy's cousin with the obsessionwith gold and riches? Who else Is more curious then that Tad And Chad poster compared to this reboot and whatever did happen to rhem In real life along with Trixie and Veronica?
Nick's executive: We need a sitcom that has cartoons in it!!! Poor Worker: I have a new idea Nick's executive: NEW!? That's crazy, what about we reboot Out of Jimmy's Head. Kids love that show Poor Worker: That a Cartoon Network show, sir Nick's executive: I don't care, slap a Fairy Oddparents on it. No one could tell Poor Worker: Ok, sir
@@TheAlphaJayShow This clearly isn't Cannon to the movies because Cosmo and Wanda aren't Cgi, and it's Clearly not Cannon to the tv show because Chloe is absent and you are supposed to loose your memory of Fairy Godparents when you grow up.
@@TheAlphaJayShow There would be literally no continuity issues if Timmy was absent and Cosmo and Wanda just showed up out of a magic 9 ball. Maybe the new kids could run into Timmy and he could have no memory.
This trailer proves exactly why you shuldn't turn a fantastical animation into a live action series. The girl wishing to be taller is the perfect example. If this was animated you could just animate her taller. But because of the limits of live action, it just has to be some janky forced camera angle. Even a show I have high hopes for, the Netflix One Piece live action, I have huge fears for. That show has shown perfect casting and care for the source material from everyone involved to the point of getting Oda himself on board. But its still gotta overcome the hurdle of not making a rubber boy look stupid and cheap in live action. So when you try and do the same thing with a show with thats been rotting for the past decade, has no care put into it by the staff and the creator you get to work on it is Butch Hartman, I see this being one of the worst shows of all time.
The only thing I actually like about this reboot is they finally made the fairies wings flap. That’s something I wish was in the original series. But the fact that that’s the only good thing about it says a lot about how bad it looks.
@JayLeeBeanz I also thought the crowns floated with magic. But they do use their wings to fly because there were occasions where their wings disappeared and they fell to the ground and could no longer fly without them.
I feel like this is a perfect Venture Bros parody for Fairly Oddparents. A delusional man-child who refuses to grow up that hangs with his "fairy's" who just all in his head.
I didn't watch them all, but I could at least find charm in the first one. I could honestly see it work as an animated special episode with enough polish. From the voice actors of Mom and Dad as the parents, and the live action reworking of old gags (Crokers fairy freakouts) and even name puns like Hugh J. Magnate, I could see someone in the writer's room was trying a little. The animated show could show some real wit with its adult characters (Dad, Mom, and Crocker were amusing before being written as duller than doorknobs later on). Adding a grown Timmy to that child-adult dynamic might have been interesting in a usual animated episode.
If you are a Fairly Odd Parents fan you'll like Doraemon. It's about a lazy boy who is horrible at school. His poor choices affect his descendants in the future. A robot cat named Doraemon is sent back in time to help him with his problems. He has an infinite pocket full of gadgets from the future. Nobita borrows one of Doraemon's gadgets in every episode and things go wrong. It's an awesome anime. It's pretty unknown in America but it's as big as Mickey Mouse in Japan.
That moment when you realize that the live action Fairly Oddparents movie trilogy was actually much more tolerable than Fairly Odder was... And that's definitely saying something right there!
Why couldn't we just get a season 11 of the old show instead of this. It wouldn't be good . But it would be better then this probably will be. At least they didn't try to make Cosmo and Wanda look real like the movies and instead went with thier normal look
Honestly you know what they could have done? A follow up based on the future in Chanel Chasers. Granted they might have to get a new macho adult Timmy, but it'd be a nice change of pace while giving us a new chapter of the Turner household. Plus it'd give some of the side characters something to do, maybe even improve in the case of Chloe. It'd basically be DBZ but for Fairy Odd Parents.
I love how Butch Hartman went crawling back to Nick after all the controversy. It's actually pathetic. This honestly feels like a Nick sitcom and nothing to do with FOP. Also, Cosmo and Wanda don't look like they're actually there. I know they're animated, but just think of something like Roger Rabbit or Space Jam. Where it actually feels like the actors were actually interacting with the characters
The Fairly OddParents is like some slasher villain, once you think they're gone, they come back in some way, somehow and are barely recognizable in some cases.
Fairly oddparents was such a good show I wish it could get one last animated movie with the characters or another season with good writers of the first 6 seasons.
I’m gonna say it right here: It looks even worse than Out of Jimmy’s Head. That show at least tried to exist by its own. And considering the modern humour of Butch Hartman in FOP seasons 9-10 and Bunsen is a Beast, I can also say it’s going to be the exact same kind of… "humour". I stand by it: FOP is the franchise that has been brutalised the most for the longest time, and I don’t see it gonna change for any time to come. At all.
I think my biggest problem is, what makes this different from other sitcoms? Besides having magic (which doesn't work with this budget of live action) i don't see anything appealing. We're tired of seeing the same old quirky family hijinks. We want something new. There's a reason people like older shows. Why watch a new show which tries too hard to be like everything else, when I can watch something I know is already gonna be entertaining
Honestly i'm just wondering why they rebooted it so soon. It's been like, what, a couple of years since the show ended? And even then it was on life support and went on hiatus for a bit before coming back and bringing Chloe. Why even cancel a show if you're gonna bring it back so soon?
Very sad how fans can come up with more creative ideas than Nickelodeon themselves it's really sad and that's what's happening to shows nowadays it's going downhill because there's no creative writing or creative freedom in the workplaces that's really sad a lot of good things could have blossom but what do they do of course cut it off because some b******* reason 🤦♂️
I just can't believe they would betray Drake Bell like this, not casting him as Timmy Turner, his True Calling in Life. What has such an innocent man, EVER DONE, PERHAPS IN THE LAST 2 SEVERAL YEARS OR SO, TO DESERVE THIS!?
Based on how the media treated animation at the Oscars it seems like big corporations are purposely trying to remove the nostalgic from old properties so future generations won't have the same feeling about the shows they grew up with which we have with ours. I mean this could explain why most reboots and live action remakes are purposely bad.
Personally, if they wanted to use the franchise again, they should’ve have done this: 1.) Have it animated instead of live action. Then, Timmy Turner can come back as an adult with Alex Baldwin (adult voice from Channel Chasers) or someone else if they can’t use him. That way, we won’t have to worry about Timmy looking like a crackhead. 2.) Have the fairies belong to his children, Tammy and Tommy. Since Tommy looks exactly like his dad, it would be an easier transition. As well as Tara Strong voicing both of the twins again. 3.) For their reason in getting fairies, since the original took place in the early 2000s (consider Timmy Turners birth date revealed in an earlier episode of the show; early 90s), this would take place in the early 2020s since the timespan is 20 years. Whereas, it’s somewhat a hard time for Millennials (which is what Timmy is) financially. I’m not saying he’s in debt or anything, but have Timmy working a lot in providing for his two kids and he can’t spend much time with them (and especially since he may be a single dad). If he was married in this case, the same idea can follow with both parents being too busy (similar to Remy Buxaplenty situation). However, unlike his parents or Timmy’s neglectful parents, they’re actually caring to their kids. Although, the kids also face being babysat by the robot Vicky in Channel Chasers and they may be bullied as well. Despite the parents or parent being concerned for them, the kids decide to keep Vicky and not tell their parents so they can keep Cosmo and Wanda. 4.) Have the episodes revolve around adventures like Timmy (while the modern world is involved; try not to make it too involved where it becomes unnecessary jokes and cringy). Try something like the Proud Family Revival is doing (well despite it being for a slightly older age group; have it be revolved around what kids Tammy and Tommy’s ages may go through; especially kids who are miserable). As well as facing real world problems we face as of today. 5.) If you wanted too, you could have those kids in the live action voice other children (maybe being those kids friends, but making their personality and character slightly better). Maybe those kids being Timmy’s friends kids (or kids like Veronica or Francis’s kids) and potential love interests. 6.) Use better animation. Definitely DO NOT try flash animation again. It’ll be a bad approach to a new series and people would think it’s cheap and lazy. 7.) Some returns of old characters would be fine, like Poof, Foop, Principal Waxelplax, Chester and AJ, Dough Dimmadone, or Mr. Crocker. I never had a problem with Poof or Foop (don’t make him appear too much as a villain anymore; have him more as a rival to Poof. Don’t bring it out too much though). Although, don’t bring back Sparky or Chloe. Other fairies would be nice too, the other anti-fairies besides Foop, and the pixies would be fine too. Instead, we got this…
Let's all remember that FOP died BECAUSE it went on for so long and disregarded or lost what made it work. Now Nick just doubled down and figured, "Eh, f-ck it. The kids will watch it anyway." That kind of attitude creates garbage products.
It is thanks to lovely people like you that I can just not engage with these inexcusable so-called, "reboots," of shows that really could have stayed buried and I can be, by choice, none-the-wiser, because you have done the work for me and I appreciate that so greatly. Thank you, So very, very much for that. I gotta say, though, I kinda do feel that aesthetically, at the very least, the guy cast as Timmy Turner is the visual epitome of everything I have always expected teen-Timmy to look like. All the way to the Walmart-bought adult size versions of the same fit dudebro has worn, every day of every month of every year (including holidays). As for the rest, Idk... && I am pefectly fine not ever, at all, finding out. Ever. But visually, that dude is absolutely what my mind's eye has always expected puberty-Timmy to look like. Wholly.
The biggest crime is that for some reason, Crocker is animated. The one great thing about the Drake Bell movies was the live action Crocker, and yet they didn't get him back for the show
Did they actually friggin use "Whoomp There it Is" in the trailer?? Even more of an indication of how out of touch they are. Also where can I get the music used in this video?
The important thing to remember about this show is: Nickelodeon *wants* you to hate it. They want you to make memes out of its badness. They want you to shout its name into the heavens in a monstrous rage. Because you, as an audience, are extremely predictable. That's how the Emoji Movie was a colossal financial success despite nobody liking it. Marketers are relying on waving that red cape to you gulli-bulls more and more, and you fall for it _every single time._ They did it with Powerpuff Girls 2016. They're doing it with the Mario Movie. And they're doing it with Fairly Odder. These things are _intentionally designed to piss you off._ There's no such thing as bad publicity. The only way to make them stop, is to ignore them. Let their attempts wallow in isolation, fading into obscurity. But that will never happen. Because meme culture is that predictable.
This proving why we need to let some shows rest in peace. At this point company's are desperately trying to feed off of out nostalgia to make a quick buck;only to have it blow up in their face.
This might seem controversial but I can't help but think that you can reboot fairly odd parents and flat out not have Cosmo, Wanda or Timmy. You can have a full-on reboot with all new fairies all new God children and have an all-new approach to it. I don't think anything specifically from the cartoon is a necessity as much as it's weaponized nostalgia.
@JayLeeBeanz Hard reboot, new fairy (or fairies). I saw maybe single parent is working hard to make things work and their kid is socially awkward and they get a fairy all there own.
My biggest reason for loving the original is because Timmy was relatable.. His parents didn't pay attention to him and just left him with his abusive babysitter. That's the reason he got fairies and I think that concept alone is what made the show great.. Why didn't they try something like that here? They could've had Viv come from a poor home with parents that didn't care about her or something.. they really could make something great with the concept but nope.
This show wasn't made for anyone other than investors looking for more money. Not even taking into account the glimpses horrendous writing we got the quality of the animation is atrocious. The fairies are unblended and have no shadows. They look like they were photoshopped in after the show was written. It is such amateur work and being tacked on to a series that used to be good so they don't have to risk the creative energy to make their own IP. This is so awful. Oh and Butch is just a bad person.
If I was a modern day child I’d be grossly offended they’d think I would prefer this, thing, over the original or an actual good reboot that somehow gets it all perfectly.
...to which I ask, Why make it at all then? There's a reason why the phrase 'ruining my childhood' exists and is frequently used in response to these stupid show or movie reveals like this one. At the end of the day it exists nothing more as a paycheck to everyone involved and revive an IP to remind you that they own it, and nothing more. Somebody in the Nick office thought this show was a good idea, for some reason. Maybe back in 2000, sure, but not 2022.
When I heard they were rebooting the series, I imagined the show would be a bit mature with Timmy as a kid and being a bullying victim. The fairies is what makes the show overall a comedy. I would imagine the fairies as real actors. (I know the awful movies sorta did this but they would cast better actors and their designs match their look of the show. Kinda like those fan drawings you see where they look real.) But the kids would feel like real kids dealing with real things in life but still is overall a funny show. Many of the crazier things from the cartoon would be pushed back because the movies showed that not everything works in live action so make it grounded in reality if you have to. Especially Butch Hartman's art style. You have to think of a different astetic. Tonally, it's like Even Steven meets Beetlejuice. Instead they did nothing...
I watched the entire season just having morbid curiosity and I realized something first of all it's got awful and it kills my soul second of all I feel like this show was originally supposed to feature Drake Bell but because of Drake Bell's situation they changed it because if I'm not mistaken they are using the same crocker at the end of that season as in the live action but no every second made me hurt even more and the worst part was making Vicky fall in love with crocker that is just truly God awful
If they wanted to squeeze more money out of this franchise there were other ideas they could have gone with that may not have been the best but would have more material to work with. Poof growing up and learning to be a fairy odd parent, letting us see more into fairy world, other fantasy world and creatures, and Cosmo and Wanda’s personal life A series about Timmy’s kids that we saw in Channel Chasers Maybe a prequel series about fairy world forming the Fairy OddParent job, or focusing on the job itself like “the office” just more for kids Bottom of the barrel stuff but much more engaging than this love action series
I thought this franchise was gone for good. I was wrong... Upon 5 seconds viewing the trailer, I kept screaming in my head "What the fuuuuuuck!" because of how terrible it was. Once again, another generic Nickcom, in addition to Poof, Foop, Sparky, and Chloe lost in the aether like they've never existed in the first place! Because of what made Butch Hartman infamous prior to his return, Nickelodeon and Viacom had no idea that he was just as bad. If Fairly Odder fails, then don't count on it. Your childhood with Nick shall fumble in front of you, among other repulsive things Disney did recently with supporting homophobia and a new "bill" by the corrupt government of Florida.
I’m begging you pleaseee make a video on this when it comes out you’re fairy off parents videos are so damn entertaining probably one of my favorite little series on ur channel!
I wish this wasn't the case, but it is. If Timmy is crying child's, then Butch is William Afton, butchering his own creation. Now, I can only hope we can get spring-Butch. A rotting, reanimated corpse of butch, as he rises from the grave to hunt down his and other properties.

Ned's Declassified is the live action Fairy Odds. You got Guy Moon as the composer, Cosmo's Voice actor as the janitor, and even that one episode where Cosmo and Wanda made a cameo.
similar humor too
The humor also felt a lot closer to Fairly odd parents than this show does and didn't have so much icarly random noises = funny, or this level of "hey fellow kids'' energy in it.
Everyone looking back on the fairly odd movies be like: Perhaps I treated you too harshly
Not to say they were that good but they look WAY better the this
The redemption arc
Especially Drake Bell as Timmy. At least I sort of believed him more as an older Timmy Turner than whoever this guy is.
The head executives at Nickelodeon deserved to to get covid-19 for what they've done, especially Brian Robbins!
Exactly, I couldn't agree more
Plus side: it can't be animated in flash if it's not animated

What??????
The thing I find the most annoying is that there’s so many older nick shows they could’ve chosen like Danny phantom , Jimmy Neutron , my life as a teenage robot , Chalk zone , etc but they chose the Fairly oddparents which is still showing episodes on nicktoons when they could’ve remade or given a sequel to a bunch of older shows that aren’t played anymore.
9/10 when Nickelodeon makes a sequel series, it's horrendous. I'd be glad they chose a series that already became bad.
@JayLeeBeanz EXACTLY, I can't watch a garbage reboot of My Life as a Teenage Robot, Jenny is my home girl I loved that show when I was little
Older since when are those shows older
Jimmy neutron had one season in what 2004 ..
If The Fairly Oddparents didn't work in Live-Action before, then what the absolute Vicky makes Nick think they should do it again?!
They must've tested it with some kind of audience that doesn't remember what Fairly Oddparents is about.
Simple; "We got to have... Money..." Just like any greed business corp.
@@stardogsmasher6217 This. Nick sees popular franchise that made them money, and dollar signs appear in their eyes because they know that can make more money by churning out garbage so long as it has the familiar characters.
@@OliverTCrowe well maybe we should stop acknowledging this kinda stuff and ignore them. That way they make no money and they get no attention
They did it 3 times already.
*THREE. TIMES.*
Each season and installment, they just keep saying "Fuck Da Rules" and double down on it. Lol
It's the most diluted it's ever been
Nickelodeon: when it comes to the fairly odd parents what do people want?
Me: A proper series finale
Nickelodeon: you’re right alive action reboot
Me: wait what
Lol
If this is for kids, I pray kids have enough common sense to NOT see it! They deserve better content than rehashed, uninspired products…
The head executives at Nickelodeon deserved to to get covid-19 for what they've done, especially Brian Robbins!
Even season 10 is way better than this.
Why would u expect kids to see that and why do u care if it's rehashed that literally shouldn't matter it's not going matter to a child all that matters is if they like the show or not
Just don't watch it that's what I do I don't watch it
If this was written by the same team as Ned’s declassified school survival guide it could work. Dean norris plays Gordy and is the closest thing to a live action cartoon. Hell even the SpongeBob crew does live action better
too true
That sounds so heartwarming and good. No wonder that didn't happen...
Yeah, Cosmo’s voice sounds so half-assed. The poor guy’s larynx must be in tatters from a decade of doing that high pitch shrill voice.
Can't say I blame em.
Cosmo since season 10 just always souns out of breath, even before this show started.
@@austinhinton3944 It would suck if his throat got so bad that it stayed stuck in his Cosmo voice.
Even cosmo and Wanda’s voice actors admitted that they hated this live action reboot
They’re not even beating a dead horse way at this point. They’re beating glue.
I'm just hoping that one day we'll have a live-action/animated Nickelodeon show with actual thought and effort put into it. But it looks like that's not happening anytime soon.
this has had effort put into it, if only you can actually see the behind the scenes but all of you are whiny crybabies
Can we just let this franchise rest in peace?
I really wish they just introduced new fairies altogether and removed Timmy. Just make a new original series within the same universe.
That's a much needed improvement over this concept
Not only that, they could make Viv and Roy not related to Timmy and give them different last name. What meant to say is, they should give Viv and Roy different godparents other than Cosmo and Wanda and they are not related to Timmy while setting it in the same universe as FOP.
Look on the bright side; at least there not In *CGI* anyone. Anyone want to bet Roy Is actually Remy's cousin with the obsessionwith gold and riches?
Who else Is more curious then that Tad And Chad poster compared to this reboot and whatever did happen to rhem In real life along with Trixie and Veronica?
I'm curious on why Tad and Chad did not age, or why they have a poster of Tad and Chad from when they were kids.
@@TheAlphaJayShow Probably made kids of their own and made them Identical or maybe clone versions of them.
I'm torn. On one hand, this god-awful production will exist, but on the other, it will be incredibly funny seeing Jay rip into it.

The contradictions are confusing. Shouldn't Timmy Turner's memory be wiped.
The franchise broke all "Da Rules" they created for a while now.
Depends on if the first movie still is canon or not.
@@TheAlphaJayShow This clearly isn't Cannon to the movies because Cosmo and Wanda aren't Cgi, and it's Clearly not Cannon to the tv show because Chloe is absent and you are supposed to loose your memory of Fairy Godparents when you grow up.

@@TheAlphaJayShow Gotten worse and worse.
Nah Danger Force is still worse lol
The first time i saw the trailer for this i was like-"Great, it's the Fairly Odd Movies all over again, only worse"
None of the charm of Fairly Oddparents, with all of the cheese from Nickelodeon live action.
DragonFlies flap their wings so fast you can't see it.
@@PercydeRoloFangirl yeah but I don’t think that’s the case for the fairies since there’s no motion lines, blurring or anything to indicate movement.

If you remove Cosmo, Wanda and everything Fairly Oddparents…it looks like your standard tv sitcom!
I feel like this is a perfect Venture Bros parody for Fairly Oddparents. A delusional man-child who refuses to grow up that hangs with his "fairy's" who just all in his head.
That'd be better than this
@@TheAlphaJayShow Absolutely with a bit of funny and tragic at the same time.
So I'm one of the few people who actually like the live action Fairly Odd Parents movies, but THIS just doesn't sit well with me.
Based off the comments, you're definitely not alone in this sentiment.
This screams executive decision all the way from the torture chamber.
@egoichi Both are my favs. Doraemon is more flexible because Doraemon isn't a secret and Nobita's friends can get in on the action.
That moment when you realize that the live action Fairly Oddparents movie trilogy was actually much more tolerable than Fairly Odder was...
And that's definitely saying something right there!
Huh, interesting.
Chloe was one of my favorite characters, alongside Poof, Trixie, Tootie and Timantha.
Why couldn't we just get a season 11 of the old show instead of this. It wouldn't be good . But it would be better then this probably will be. At least they didn't try to make Cosmo and Wanda look real like the movies and instead went with thier normal look
It's an odd design choice
@@TheAlphaJayShow i see what you did there
Man, I really wanted a Henry Danger with a badly photoshopped Season 10 Cosmo and Wanda. That's exactly what this world needed.
@JayLeeBeanz That is also accurate, not gonna lie.
@JayLeeBeanz you’re reminding me King K Rool’s end credits fakeout
To sum the whole show all up “A fairly odd parents as a Sitcom”.
Fairly oddparents was such a good show I wish it could get one last animated movie with the characters or another season with good writers of the first 6 seasons.
Remember when it was a rare novelty when old properties came back into the limelight?
The only thing that differentiates this from the other sitcoms is that like cowbell, they'll use more laugh track.
Honestly i'm just wondering why they rebooted it so soon. It's been like, what, a couple of years since the show ended? And even then it was on life support and went on hiatus for a bit before coming back and bringing Chloe.
Why even cancel a show if you're gonna bring it back so soon?
Very sad how fans can come up with more creative ideas than Nickelodeon themselves it's really sad and that's what's happening to shows nowadays it's going downhill because there's no creative writing or creative freedom in the workplaces that's really sad a lot of good things could have blossom but what do they do of course cut it off because some b******* reason
🤦♂️
Thanks for this
No problem!
I just can't believe they would betray Drake Bell like this, not casting him as Timmy Turner, his True Calling in Life. What has such an innocent man, EVER DONE, PERHAPS IN THE LAST 2 SEVERAL YEARS OR SO, TO DESERVE THIS!?
this is a perfect example of "NO GOD! PLEASE NO!"
Based on how the media treated animation at the Oscars it seems like big corporations are purposely trying to remove the nostalgic from old properties so future generations won't have the same feeling about the shows they grew up with which we have with ours. I mean this could explain why most reboots and live action remakes are purposely bad.
I dont think it was made for anyone with a pulse
Can’t wait for Drake Bells cameo as Timmy Turner.
This show is basically Genie in the house (brits will hopefully know this one), but with worse cgi
Is it just me or does the whole set look like Victorious- just with different furniture haha
The living room even looks like the living room from "The thundermans" and "Sam and Cat", like did they just reuse the set?
The worst part RUclips got rid of the dislikes so we have no idea how many hate the trailer
I want to see all of the Impractical Jokers ratio Butch Hartman for not only his previous sins, but this one as well.
Butch Hartman, *_butchering_* his own show since 2015
Personally, if they wanted to use the franchise again, they should’ve have done this:
1.) Have it animated instead of live action.
Thank you,
So very, very much for that.
The one great thing about the Drake Bell movies was the live action Crocker, and yet they didn't get him back for the show
I hope whoever greenlit this gets covid-19
Did they actually friggin use "Whoomp There it Is" in the trailer?? Even more of an indication of how out of touch they are.
Also where can I get the music used in this video?
The FoP franchise has been out of touch for over a decade. This is just par for the course.
Fairly Odder makes me want to start the Spanish Inquisition II
This is beyond beating a dead horse.
This is beating it’s skeleton long after the body decayed
Man Cosmo and Wanda look bad in this…
Visually, they looked pretty good, but story-wise, it is the most confusing it's ever been
This might seem controversial but I can't help but think that you can reboot fairly odd parents and flat out not have Cosmo, Wanda or Timmy.
Fairly Odder was only made for the executives. And anyone who hates good writing.
You should totally cover this trainwreck. There's *no* way that I'm willingly going to watch it by myself! 😆
Wishing for a million dollars, against the rules, Wishing for the midas touch, allowed.
The original Fairly Oddparents ended in 2017 ……. and then the opposite happened.
Every time they make a live action fairly off parents the main character looks like he enjoys kids.
Wait what😭😭
If they wanted to squeeze more money out of this franchise there were other ideas they could have gone with that may not have been the best but would have more material to work with.
Poof growing up and learning to be a fairy odd parent, letting us see more into fairy world, other fantasy world and creatures, and Cosmo and Wanda’s personal life
A series about Timmy’s kids that we saw in Channel Chasers
Maybe a prequel series about fairy world forming the Fairy OddParent job, or focusing on the job itself like “the office” just more for kids
Bottom of the barrel stuff but much more engaging than this love action series
1:12 I’m trying my best not to shout splatoon reference.
SPLATOON REFERENCE
I've been watching this since I was a kid, I love this version too the hate is unnecessary
Ty Turner is how I picture Jimmy Vulmer from South Park if he appeared in live-action
Buch Hartmen is no longer working on the show and left pretty early on.
