You probably dont give a shit but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all the latest series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my gf during the lockdown :)
One of the best songs they have ever produced. The lyrics are intense and fragile. This song is a masterpiece. Deserves a place in the top 200 of the world's best songs ever.
They opened with this song at this year's Exit festival. Just as they started to play, the sky went dark with heavy clouds and there was a massive downpour. The whole experience was fucking brilliant.
Was a HS sophomore for the Prayer tour and I remember the chills of hearing this song live that first time...and all these years later I get the same chills
Gosh, it’s hard to say because there’s so many fabulous masterpiece albums out there but I think that I agree ✊ It’s a true masterpiece and so magical. Robert Smith is a genius (he’d probably disagree lol but it’s true.)
We Cure fans are blessed… Imagine the billions of people who are missing out on them…! We are the few who managed to witness their brilliance during our lifetime. When they're gone, they will endure through time, but we'll remain the few who will be able to say we got it when they were among us. Thank you Robert Smith, for gifting me/us with the soundtrack of our lives.
My first concert at 16 years old was watching in a trance The Cure. Now at 45 years old. I listen at minimum to this rendition live once a week. This is EPIC of my favorite songs and melodic ensembles to ever be recorded LIVE by my standards.!!!
Its amazing that they were using blue lights for this song because this song is exactly that shade of blue in the way my brain identifies it... Idk how to explain it hahaha
I always identify music with colors and smells but I do not have synesthesia. music has those feelings. it's more of an emotional connection to colors and smells. synesthesia is smelling colors or sensing numbers with textures. also numbers with colors is very common.
"i think it's dark and it looks like rain" you said "and the wind is blowing like it's the end of the world" you said "and it's so cold it's like the cold if you were dead" and then you smiled for a second. "i think i'm old and i'm in pain" you said "and it's all running out like it's the end of the world" you said "and it's so cold it's like the cold if you were dead" and then you smiled for a second sometimes you make me feel like i'm living at the edge of the world like i'm living at the edge of the world "it's just the way i smile" you said
As I watch this in 2018, it's sad to think that more years have passed since this was filmed til now than the years from when the song was written til when this was filmed.
When I die, I want this to be played in my funeral when my coffin goes down. Although there’s a long way before i leave this confusing world bc I’m only 14 haha. I love Robert Smith x
Quality always has longevity the cure tears for fears etc etc this modern crap has no emotion or strength. These guys congrats on hall of fame induction. Tears for fears and others should be in as well.
This song my oldest brother chose for his funeral. Every time i hear it, it brings me close to him.
Every time you play this song, your brother is smiling next to you ❤️
Sitting at the edge of the world
It’s funny that you say that because every time I think of this song and hear this song I think of my brother and my wife which passed away.
You probably dont give a shit but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all the latest series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my gf during the lockdown :)
@Isaiah Rhys Yea, I've been watching on instaflixxer for since december myself :)

The most beautiful song I ever heard.
Most incredible song, so little words yet so poignant❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'd like to think that if - there is indeed a heaven - then this music will be greeting my entry into it. It is beyond beautiful, it really is.
+John Williams There is TRUELY a HEAVANNNNNNNNN:))))))))
This song will be played at my funeral when I'll be going down in flames.
Amen brother.

Gosh, it’s hard to say because there’s so many fabulous masterpiece albums out there but I think that I agree ✊ It’s a true masterpiece and so magical. Robert Smith is a genius (he’d probably disagree lol but it’s true.)

everything about this video was great. Great editing, great audio, and definitely a great song.
I remember buying the album Disintegration on release and hearing this the first song and knew it was going to be a good album, the best.
When I've seen them live the shows are just like this.. Trilogy is a great representation of their shows.
“It’s just the way I smile” you said. ❤️
One Word - epic. This by far my favourite song of the The Cure

May well be my favorite song....period. From the only band I've seen more than once. "Dude, it's Robert Smith from The Cure!"
Una obra musical todo el repertorio de the cure. De las mejores canciones de la historia.
Aguante Simon, EL MEJOR BAJISTA
Tal cual, te transporta, y la voz de Robert sigue siendo maravillosa..
Breathtaking every time I hear it!!!💕
I’m 12 again, listening to this on my boom box, wishing I could live this song....
Other people at 12: listening to sophisticated music
Me: watching shitty gaming videos
Back in the late 80’s when I was in college we had a wall of warship in our dorm room.. Lots of Great memories with The cure ..
"i think it's dark and it looks like rain" you said
"and the wind is blowing like it's the end of the
world" you said "and it's so cold it's like the
cold if you were dead" and then you smiled for
a second.
"i think i'm old and i'm in pain" you said
"and it's all running out like it's the end of the
world" you said "and it's so cold it's like the
cold if you were dead" and then you smiled for
a second
sometimes you make me feel like i'm living at
the edge of the world like i'm living at the edge
of the world "it's just the way i smile" you said
My god, this is straight up poetry. I've never really listened to the words before, I was so enthralled by the music. Thanks for sharing.

i hope i don't live the day when Robert will pass away.... i want to leave before his end comes
I can't imagine that day either I already had to live through Robin William's death I cried like a little bitch that day and I never even met him.
The day Robert Smith dies is the day one of my biggest musical icons and influences is gone.

The best lead song on the best album. (okay, maybe tied with Five Years/Ziggy)
Capolavoro assoluto
As I watch this in 2018, it's sad to think that more years have passed since this was filmed til now than the years from when the song was written til when this was filmed.
The greatest song of all time.

По глубине и мощи песня схожа с альбомом Вангелиса "1492" - раз и на все времена!
