The first man doesn't deserve that girl. she seems like a smart, strong girl. He doesn't deserve her at all. Like "I have other things to focus on" Like what is more important for you to be doing than raising your son?
How are these women attracted to these momma boys? If my husband all of a sudden wanted to move back in with his mom I would definitely re think our marriage. That is probably one of the most unattractive things is when a man goes to his momma for everything
Well it really depends the extent to which one loves and dedicates their life to their mother. The former is fine and I'm sure everyone does, so I don't see why it is so "unattractive".
Thats disgusting. There's something WRONG about that situation. If you're five, that's cute, if you're 10, it's understandable, if you're 15, try to detach, if you're 20, get your damn shit together.

tutu8896 Right?! I was thinking the exact same thing. Surely growing up without a father would make him want to put extra effort into being there for his son...
He can still be there for him and not live in the same place. It’s clear he doesn’t want to be with that chick, and that’s likely why he moved out. That’s like saying someone has to stay in an unhappy marriage or else they are a bad parent. You can still care for a child living in another home.
Jerry can never be in a loving, committed relationship with a woman because he is scared of responsibility, thanks to his mom babying him his whole life. She wants him to be with a quality woman, but she's scaring them all away thanks to her selfish behavior, no straight thinking woman wants to get with a man like that.
You can find another husband, or another wife but where can you find another mother?…If a man marries a girl, loves her, gives her all his time and 10 years down the line they divorce anyway. Those women! and men! go back to their mothers, isn't it selfish that you run to them once your relationship is over. But while you were married, you saw your mum only once a year! You do realise once your parents die, thats it! you will never see them again. According to tyra one should only see their parents at christmas and easter lol YEAH! if you hate them. You don't want to look back 50 years from now, thinking i wish i spent more time with my dad or mum or both.
Yes, I know what you mean, I live thousands of miles away from my parents and will probably never see them again until the end of this year, and I wish I saw them everyday. But that man Jerry is just one giant selfish baby, who can't survive anyones cooking but his mothers, not even for the sake of his own child...and that mother is selfish too, she needs to let her son be a man
Yes but the woman you marry is the woman you should put first. Yes. Love your mom. But when you have a child and a "wife", they become your first priority. You should take care of your mother yes. But that's your wife and family. You need to take care of your responsibilities. That man-child needs to grow the heck up.
Omg my ex said the same thing "if my mum died if never get over it, if u died.. Well I'd be sad but move on"... He rang mummy every time we fought to. Pathetic!
I feel so bad for these women, I don't think this sis so much being a "mama's boy" as it is being a coward. They are NOT the same thing, that first woman needs to move on, raise her son and be happy, AND she needs to get full custody of their son because that baby should not be wrongly influenced by the "grandmother" that calls her a bad mom and the horrible "dad" that will not stand by his woman.
"I feel much better when I'm under my mother.. she does everything I ask her to do." Oh, so you want an emotionally incestuous submissive relationship with your mother? Seems kosher.
I, myself, am a self-proclaimed "mama's girl" & proud of it. Mainly, because I grew up in a single parent home. How and ever......k? I also have a husband, and soon to be 3 churn. My mama, whether she's approved of any guy I dated or nah, she's NEVER crossed that line of interference. In my family, we don't get involved in each other's domestics, we allow life to happen. Yes, me and my mother are tighter than skin, but we definitely know our boundaries within our relationship. As long as the guy I'm with isn't beating my ass or dogging me out, she's cool. I'm my mama's only, so she has her ways to show she's protective of me, but it's also vice versa. So I get the dynamic, but hell these guys damn near carry on an almost incest like relationship with their mothers. I always want me & my boys to be close, but never to that capacity. Shiiiid, when they get older, they're most definitely getting the hell out my house. Grown is grown. #Ijs

I felt this in my SOUL, girl. I stayed with a mama’s boy for 6 1/2 years. From age 16 to age 22. So much time wasted. After high school ended, I realized he would never changed, but I still stayed so long afterwards. SO glad that isn’t my problem anymore.
As soon as Jerry started talking I was done with him. Correction! As soon as I saw those dangling earrings I was done with him. Really? Is he serious? He just wants somebody to wait on him hand and foot. And he still sleeps with her? Nuh-uh! Verdict: Loser. SIDE NOTE: Did the momma say she wanted to trap him because she knew he was doing something? Why do I seriously doubt that? I'm not saying she's a catch, but between his attitude and actions, he is not AT ALL!
ik there annoying as hell cause there mom always wants them to like take care of them and basically when your with them its like get jealous like wtf but in a way if there good to there mother then you know they'll treat you well too
He’s literally gonna cause a generational curse, he said his father was never around and he was always close to his mother, well that’s exactly what he’s doing to his kid rn.
I need to place into further evidence the gender roles implied by both the mother and the wife of the first mama's boy. They both talk about cooking and cleaning. Why doesn't he help with this stuff? Why is it all up to the woman? If he needs it done a specific way, he needs to do it himself. He has legs and arms that function . There is no reason that he can't accomplish these things on his own.
Preach! 👏🏼👏🏼 so true - if you refuse to be happy unless it's done in a ridiculously specific way, that's right you need to do that shxt yourself 👋🏼✋🏼💪🏼
Jonas Johnson it's too bad that you found it offensive, i wasn't trying to be. It's a simple answer of yes or a no. I believe anybody could be close to their parents as long as there is a limit.
There are only two options for that kid, Jerry: either he jump out of that nest while he's still got a mama to help him up or mama kicks his ass out, because otherwise, that boy's never going to learn to fly. And when something happens to Mama, he's gonna be sitting up there in his nest wondering how the hell he's gonna get down.
4:52 "My mom does everything I ask her to do. Anything I need her to do it gets done when I need it to get done." so basically he left his girlfriend's house because she wasn't his door mat but his EQUAL PARTNER. Got it!
If you knew the man was a mama's boy when you met him and dated him for a bit, why the hell would you stay with him and have a child with him? Where is the common sense these days!?
I don't know how the first woman didn't punched both of their faces! if it were me they would have ended up leaving there unrecognized ! what an embarrassment of a mother, instead of encouraging her son to be a man and raise his son she's doing this!
Ashley Graham That's why it's so surprising, the son should know that not growing up with a father sucks, I mean he's missing a father figure in his life, someone who'll take him out for basketbal and teach him how to pick up girls and such. Also, I really want to punch the mom, she needs to learn how to shut the fuck up.
He isn’t abandoning the child because he is leaving her. Oh my god, do people not comprehend co-parenting when relationships end? That’s some real emotional abuse type shit to try and trap someone in a toxic relationship. You leaving a spouse isn’t abandoning the child, you can still split time with the ex and both can be in the kids life.
I was cringing through this whole episode. There's a difference between respecting your mom and being under your mom and disrespecting your girl because of it.
That first mother needs to be told to “ SHUT UP”! She was infuriating!!! The second mother needs to tell her son to grow up, move on and be a good man to his girlfriend! A mother son relationship is wonderful, but if you are noticing your sons relationships are never working out and he’s always with you- mama may be the problem!
These guys can't seem do differentiate between different kinds of love, familial towards their mother and romantic to their partners. And of course mothers will always be important but starting a new family has to come before her needs and wants if they ever want to succeed..
Oedipus Rex should be the name of the second guy and his mother is Jocasta. Poor Rachel needs to get a proper man because obviously there is some sexual tenison between mama and son.
Rosie Summer Oedipus Married his mother and killed his father because neither one of them knew that they were mother, father and son. He killed his father before he met his mother. Oedipus was not raised by his biological parents. When he did find out he killed his father and married his mom he blinded himself and went into exile to atone for his sin; the mother hung herself. All for of their children die in the end as well.
I understand that, some guy feel more secure being around their mum then their girl for some reason. But think about the future of the woman you married and the kids you had with her. If you know you are a mama's boy, stick with your mum, but don't destroy another woman's life. I was adopted and raised a by single, unmarried mum, but I know if I want a relationship with a woman, I have to stick to the woman at some point who put all her hopes and dreams on me.
yeah to be honest i think the first guy just isn't mature at all to handle being a father like i think he was just trying to find an excuse to get away from the girl, so he used his mother's relationship to do so
Oh god my ex was one of the weirdest mommas boys ever, he would always put his mom first before anything, he would even take her out on dates n before they would leave, she would stick her butt out so he could slap it, one time I was waiting for him to sleep next to me when he came home from work, he literally just went to his moms room n laid next to her n spooned. I'm so glad we didn't last, I am now happily engaged to a real man n we have a beautiful new born son, I'm doing my life while my ex is still in mommas arms... Come to think about it that's just nasty
What called my attention the most was the fact that these men want women to be housewives, not considering if they want to (which did not seem like)... When will men (and women) understand that if kids have both parents both need to help in the house? One mamma filtered the girls by asking if they can clean and cook, as if this was a requirement for a woman to marry her son. What about if HE can clean and cook? Society needs to evolve.
This dude isn't ready, that's what it boils down to. She (Sophia) needs to move on. Her mistake for not seeing his immaturity and his for not being true to himself in the beginning. Either way, his mom needs to be pushing him out the nest, or ge will never be ready.
If u have to sacrifice your own happiness just to be with someone, then all you are to them is an option. Justine knows that no other women would put up with his BS, that's the ONLY reason he's keeping her around. He clearly expressed that he doesn't even considers his wife family, and showed no emotion when asked hypothetically, how'd he feel if his wife pass. I don't even feel sorry for Rachel, she can date her mother-in-law for the rest of her miserable life.
...Sounds like because of his mom, these moms are full on oppressing you as women...i really think that Justin and Rachaels case is even more severe because the mom and Justin put on a good face and wont admit to hurting Rachael and not looking out for her own well being. And I feel really really bad for Rachael :( She is clearly so confused:(
I feel that too, the mum seemed nice and all, like when she came in and have her 'daughter in law' a hug. However the first mum was more nasty loud and obnoxious, but at least her and her son were honest. I feel like the secound mama's boy and his momma were just better at sugar coating things, so the put girlfriend was confused and still had hope(false hope) that things would change.
um wow these guys are really weird, i feel sorry for these women... especially the second one (of course for the first one too but she seems like a strong character) because she forces herself to accept the situation and hopes he will turn towards her... it was really sad watching her trying to speak up her mind :( i hope she dumps him, she so deserves much better because she is pretty and seems like a really great person
I feel so bad for Rachel... She's trying so hard to impress his mum but it's so hard for her!x but Rachel you need to leave him he's a mummy's boy! If you want someone to focus on you then find someone else because if you believe in true love you'll know this isn't yours!x
Oh honey let me take Tyras spot on this one cause I would have embarrassed Jerry’s lame behind. He thought he was cool but made a complete fool of himself. Him and his mother ought to be ashamed!!!!!🤬
personally I feel that the first guy does not know that relationships have the transition from parents to spouse...who is more than your parents since there is equal contribution to each other... not one or two persons serving the child.
I'm 32, and my husband is 38 years old. We have an almost perfect marriage. He's a doctor and I'm soon-to-be pharmacist. We get a long so well and I feel like we are soul mates. The only problem is, he is a total "mama's boy." I understand everybody loves their parents (I surely love mine) but I think he's is too extreme. We are still living with his parents because he refuses to leave them. His mom still packs his lunch bag for him everyday for work. And, everywhere we go (whether it's to a movie, a romantic dinner or quick stop to go to the drug store) his whole entire family has to come along. He would be the driver, his mom has to sit in the front passenger seat, and I'm squished in the back seat with his 36 year old brother and father. I just want to do things alone with my husband. Whenever we plan to do something and his mom doesn't agree, the plan if off. She makes ALL our decisions. After a whole year of arguing and really convincing, my husband finally agreed to buy our own house and move out on our own as long as it's close to his parent's house. I'm okay with that and was so excited. It's been a year of house hunting now, we've looked at over 100 houses and we still haven't gotten one. The problem is, he takes his mom house hunting with us and she doesn't agree on any house that we like. If she says no, my husband won't buy it. A few weeks ago, we found our dream home. Me and my husband love it and his mom finally agree to this house. So, we decided to put in an offer in the next day and that very next morning she changed her mind and said she didn't like the house because one of the rooms was kinda dark. Since his mom said no, he won't submit the offer. A week later, the house sold and I got upset and we got into another big argument. I love my husband very much and I know he loves me too but lately I feel like I don't want to be in this marriage life anymore. It bothers me a whole lot that he always chooses his family over me I've been thinking about leaving him. But, I'm so confuse. Will I be leaving him for the wrong reason? He already knows how I feel and I'm tired of arguing with him about the same thing. I have been so depressed, it's starting to affect my health
I'm so sorry to hear about your situation! :( If you both love each other as much as you do then I think you guys need to go through marriage counselling, especially since you've been experiencing depression. Your husband needs to want to change though..like he needs to realize it's time to grow up. And I hope some sort of counselling will help you both through this.

first it depends on the mother. if she is not crazy, you need to talk to her. if she is crazy, carry a shield and still talk to her. tell her that when we got married, we got married to each other and not you. do say stuff like I would like your opinions sometimes, but I do not want you to have the final say. say I'm not trying to say stay out of our lives because family is important, but you have to give us space. you and the father and the brother. also you can have your husband there too.
Hmm... all I'm gonna say is: _"For this reason a man shall _*_leave_*_ his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."_ You aren't one with yo mom.. even though your mom's important too. The priest robably wanted to say something like this when Jerry's mom visited him..
Why to be a good mother does she have to be an amazing cook and clean all the time?? Can't he help her or do it?? Do be a good mother does it mean you need to surrender your wants and needs to do housework all day??
I think he's a coward that can't deal with the fact that he has a child so he ran back to his mommy.

1:55 THERE'S VOMIT ON HIS SWEATER ALREADY, MOM'S SPAGHETTI
As soon as the first Guest said "We came up together" and Tyra said "Didn't everybody come up with their Mom?" yesss I nearly hollered duh
Having flashbacks of my ex. Is really hate mama's boys. It's so incredibly unattractive and a relationship just won't work.
ik there annoying as hell cause there mom always wants them to like take care of them and basically when your with them its like get jealous like wtf but in a way if there good to there mother then you know they'll treat you well too
He’s literally gonna cause a generational curse, he said his father was never around and he was always close to his mother, well that’s exactly what he’s doing to his kid rn.
am i the only one who noticed the "in love" stares between moms and sons? :| that so wrong on so many levels
yes !! hella creepy -_-
Feel too like they are not telling us everything about those weird relationship
Melisa M very well said! Very well indeed
That second mom and son gave me super creepy vibes. The guy seemed so weird.
Respect, hope it’s not what some are 🤔 going on,girl leave him/he’s not built for manhood yet
Im becoming bffs with Tatiana I decided when she said "Youre a very strange mother" with no expression I was in tears laughing
Seriously, his mother is an embarrassment.
You put your partner and children first, before anyone else!
sometimes kids grow but only physically
just date the mommas boy for an experience you will never forget! But never ever marry them! lmao
Jonas Johnson are you a momma's boy?
Jonas Johnson it's too bad that you found it offensive, i wasn't trying to be. It's a simple answer of yes or a no. I believe anybody could be close to their parents as long as there is a limit.
+Jonas Johnson that's very true and scary.
Jonas Johnson had a lucky guess that you were so i asked you just to be sure. I have a question.
Jonas Johnson you seem like the right person to ask.
Never cry over anybody who doesn't cry over you
It's literally like Bates Motel
Yea! No shit
4:52 "My mom does everything I ask her to do. Anything I need her to do it gets done when I need it to get done." so basically he left his girlfriend's house because she wasn't his door mat but his EQUAL PARTNER. Got it!
the 1st mom was so obnoxious idk why tyra let her keep talking over not only herself, but the girl and her son...
X Factor winner 😳
If you knew the man was a mama's boy when you met him and dated him for a bit, why the hell would you stay with him and have a child with him?
Where is the common sense these days!?
the day these men will turn 40 or 50 single with no one next to them they'll realize , that being that close to your mom is so unhealthy !
Why do these women even bother? Whole wide world of good independent men out there.
"I ain't your mama, noooo, I ain't your mama" - Jennifer Lopez
Tyra is loving these omg its so funny
I don't know how the first woman didn't punched both of their faces! if it were me they would have ended up leaving there unrecognized ! what an embarrassment of a mother, instead of encouraging her son to be a man and raise his son she's doing this!
Exactly! She's making her son act like his father. Abandoning his child.
Ashley Graham That's why it's so surprising, the son should know that not growing up with a father sucks, I mean he's missing a father figure in his life, someone who'll take him out for basketbal and teach him how to pick up girls and such.
Also, I really want to punch the mom, she needs to learn how to shut the fuck up.
she's an embarrassment ! I cant believe there are actually people like them
He isn’t abandoning the child because he is leaving her. Oh my god, do people not comprehend co-parenting when relationships end? That’s some real emotional abuse type shit to try and trap someone in a toxic relationship. You leaving a spouse isn’t abandoning the child, you can still split time with the ex and both can be in the kids life.
@@MikeOfMichigan right
05:45 her reaction is priceless....... "I'm still stuck on sleeping in the bed"
5 YEARS WITH THAT KIND OF TREATMENT!!! BYEEEEE! HE HAS NOT ONCE SAID HE LOVES HER!!
i really should be doing my research paper but ive been watching tyra banks for the last four hours. oops
Usually a man says he's going out with someone and is cheating, but this guy goes out to hang with his Momma. SCANDAL!!!😱😱😱😱
Creepy af
Just because she can't cook and clean means she's a bad mom? Um okay?...
First time I get interrupted in a video by an ad, and thanked god for it. >.>
These mamas need to let go. If only they were on the Dr Phil show!!!!
You're not looking at his personality you're just looking at his cuteness
These guys can't seem do differentiate between different kinds of love, familial towards their mother and romantic to their partners. And of course mothers will always be important but starting a new family has to come before her needs and wants if they ever want to succeed..
Oedipus Rex should be the name of the second guy and his mother is Jocasta. Poor Rachel needs to get a proper man because obviously there is some sexual tenison between mama and son.
My favorite Greek tragedy!
I was adopted and raised a by single, unmarried mum, but I know if I want a relationship with a woman, I have to stick to the woman at some point who put all her hopes and dreams on me.
yeah to be honest i think the first guy just isn't mature at all to handle being a father like i think he was just trying to find an excuse to get away from the girl, so he used his mother's relationship to do so
Yea because some men are secretly attracted to their moms
Oh god my ex was one of the weirdest mommas boys ever, he would always put his mom first before anything, he would even take her out on dates n before they would leave, she would stick her butt out so he could slap it, one time I was waiting for him to sleep next to me when he came home from work, he literally just went to his moms room n laid next to her n spooned. I'm so glad we didn't last, I am now happily engaged to a real man n we have a beautiful new born son, I'm doing my life while my ex is still in mommas arms... Come to think about it that's just nasty
That girl deserves better...
Talking about the first one, but they all kinda deserve better...
i can't believe i'm saying this but i really wish they're all actors,gosh
that's why i don't do mama's boys , never , dating one is calling for long life trouble
oh God, Freud analyse this
What called my attention the most was the fact that these men want women to be housewives, not considering if they want to (which did not seem like)...
Damn Tyra is a good therapist
Tyra should do some updates👌😂💀
my momma = #1!

Enmeshment and co-dependency.
Why?? his fiancé is so beautiful!!!! I don't get him
um wow these guys are really weird, i feel sorry for these women... especially the second one (of course for the first one too but she seems like a strong character) because she forces herself to accept the situation and hopes he will turn towards her... it was really sad watching her trying to speak up her mind :( i hope she dumps him, she so deserves much better because she is pretty and seems like a really great person
"When's the last time I ate your food?" What 😂😂😂
Girl runn!!!! Don’t put up with that!!
I feel so bad for Rachel... She's trying so hard to impress his mum but it's so hard for her!x but Rachel you need to leave him he's a mummy's boy! If you want someone to focus on you then find someone else because if you believe in true love you'll know this isn't yours!x
Rachel is so pretty
Jerry's mom cracks me up haha
Oh honey let me take Tyras spot on this one cause I would have embarrassed Jerry’s lame behind. He thought he was cool but made a complete fool of himself. Him and his mother ought to be ashamed!!!!!🤬
that girl at 11:26 doing the most lol
"I feel much better when I'm underneath my mother...." I'm out 👋
personally I feel that the first guy does not know that relationships have the transition from parents to spouse...who is more than your parents since there is equal contribution to each other... not one or two persons serving the child.
the second girl on the third guy's date had me rolling!! lmaooo
+Mullet Girl omg, that's bad! is his brother also living with you guys? Dat's so bad!

+Mullet Girl you need to give him the ultimatum
first it depends on the mother. if she is not crazy, you need to talk to her. if she is crazy, carry a shield and still talk to her. tell her that when we got married, we got married to each other and not you. do say stuff like I would like your opinions sometimes, but I do not want you to have the final say. say I'm not trying to say stay out of our lives because family is important, but you have to give us space. you and the father and the brother. also you can have your husband there too.
Hmm... all I'm gonna say is:
_"For this reason a man shall _*_leave_*_ his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh."_
You aren't one with yo mom.. even though your mom's important too.
The priest robably wanted to say something like this when Jerry's mom visited him..
Amen 🙏👏
Why to be a good mother does she have to be an amazing cook and clean all the time?? Can't he help her or do it?? Do be a good mother does it mean you need to surrender your wants and needs to do housework all day??
