Broom lol not the straightest straight edge ;-) do you think the board might get dented from the mast having such a low profile and very distinct edges on the deck?
I always wondered why the "high wind" boards are so flat. As you know, there is no real speed improvement at higher winds because of all the shops. Therefore the only way to get faster is making a board with more control. So it seemed to be obvious to me to make a board with more "V". Going a bit to the old school ideas... LOL
I have the 2021 version and the cutouts seem much deeper than previous models. I'm also curious how the deep recess on the deck will effect foot placement on step gybes, although doesn't seem to bother Taty so maybe a non issue. Interested to hear your thoughts after the first session.
Try to put the modem in the window somewhere with clear visibility to a cell tower. These 3G/4G/5G modems are really sensitive to correct placement. :)
You mention the quality of manufacturing. Which other brands come from that factory? I find the Severne boards are very susceptible to dinks on the rail. Great video!
FuturFly is an Israel based company. Buying one of their board contribuye to the ongoing massacre in Palestine. For me it´s a forever boycott this brand even they look amazing.
What an amazing board. Looking forward to seeing you try it out in the coming strong winds.
