    This was literally INSANE, I did not expect Karamo to take it here but he really did what needed to be done in Wesley's case and he helped him get closure on probably one of the greatest traumas in his life. I am so thankful that Netflix is giving us this kind of realness because this is what we need to see right now.

    Wesley might have not felt he needed an apology but he is certainly owed one. If this guy thinks he was justified he probably belongs in prison still.

      @@brumgab 9 times out of 10 that guy would have been the victim that day. He was being proactive based on 100 circumstances he's witnessed or heard about. I am not disagreeing with you. Just providing more context about life here in inner-city KC.

      @@mr_christian72 Right there with you- I understand and can acknowledge just how unfamiliar I am with that kind of life, how the streets are ran out there, especially in the huge areas of gang-run violence in inner Kansas City - also known as KC, _'Killa City'_ for a reason.
      The commenters above do not understand just how different & difficult life is there (or in any city), where various multiple gangs made up of *thousands of individuals* (3,000 in fact) run the territories/streets, and especially can't understand how it is literally _"kill-or-be-killed"_ out there.
      He didn't shoot Wes based on some hatred or premeditated emotional anger, he shot based on self-preservation alone.

    • @JustTheWarning
      @JustTheWarning Год назад +4

      You don't force a person to apologize to someone who specifically said they DON'T need it or want it, it doesn't solve anything;
      Wes has clearly grown so much as a person that he doesn't need an apology from his shooter to be able to forgive him as an individual & move on with his life. Now that's a strong man...
      And I can guarantee you that he _especially_ doesn't need some rando in the RUclips comments from LA or France or wherever you're from to tell him that he DOES need to get an apology in order to feel whole and be happy.

    • @vivathecat7052
      @vivathecat7052 Год назад +2

      @@JustTheWarning nobody said anything about forcing anybody to do anything. and you clearly didn't understand the difference between "needing" and apology versus "deserving" an apology. Two different things and you don't get it. Reading comprehension is everything.

    There really wasn’t forgiveness. There’s more to the story that Wesley didn’t want to share, that’s why he didn’t care for an apology.

    • @WadeWilsonKPop
      @WadeWilsonKPop 2 года назад +7

      Wesley said it himself in the episode: it's the way of the streets. He said that if he was in the shooter's shoes, he would've done the same thing.
      Context: it was a dire situation wherein a gangster walked up to another gangster during an altercation, and the former is unsure whether the latter walking up to him is carrying a piece or not. For them, it was either shoot or get shot.

    Show your forgiveness is great to see from Wesley to the shooter Maurice. Both guy has huge emotions I feel. Unbelievable to do this both! They could be free for lives now looks great. Many people can do that from victim. Wesley is the greatest man ever. Maurice is kind of the lucky one. I hope I can do it to the driver who broke my life but so difficult literally. Oh Karamo, I need you!

    I feel like this was so forced and neither person wanted to do it. It was probably the worst Karamo moment in my opinion. I would be very hesitant in meeting the person who shot me and in the end, the whole meeting felt very uncomfortable.

    • @sariahrivera1253
      @sariahrivera1253 4 года назад +7

      It is uncomfortable, it would never not be uncomfortable. Maybe it is forced but the uncomfortable feeling is a given but Wesley admitted that he was grateful he did that for him. It help him get past and get answers. I think it was the best thing he couldve done for him to heal cause now he can heal even more and grow.

      yeah, and notice how Wesley never gave details about why he got shot...the shooter obviously felt bad about paralyzing a guy but i don't think he's sorry for why he shot him. he might have had a pretty good reason.

    • @WadeWilsonKPop

      Counterpoint: Karamo - in the episode - asked for Wesley's blessing _first,_ before moving forward with this plan of his. This meeting definitely wouldn't have happened if neither Wesley nor his shooter agreed to this.
