HOW TO DIAGNOSE A MAF SENSOR, WITHOUT TROUBLE CODE IN A MISTUBISHI PAJERO JR

In this video we show a failure in a mitsubishi montero jr, 4g94 engine, which presented a lack of power in the engine, but without reporting any fault code, doing tests we found the failure in the MAF or air flow sensor.

Me gustaría que nos dijeras cómo conectar el osiloscope aunque no lo tengamos ocupamos aprender antes de adquisición.

Hola Amigo, this is Duane from the Group DDTSB, I wish you would have used the Hz setting on your Multimeter. it seems that part of the problem was the signal breaking up and maybe in the meter Hz setting, the measurement would have been floating a lot? The average DC Volt setting might have been enough information for a mechanic to see the voltage moving around too much during the signal break up time? As for your before and after diagnosis on the scope, I wish you would have also revved up the engine to very high revs to show the maximum Hz of the signal, I must assume it was not up high like 800 or 900 Hz like the new part, thank you for the VAF diagnosis. Please compare Apples to Apples as we say.

Buenas ,tengo una mitsubishi montero sport 2003 V6 3000cc a gasolina, se le cambio el filtro del aire y desde entonces empezo a presentar fallas,al prenderlo por la mañana se bajan las revoluciones a 200 y no se sostienen y luego se apaga,se le destapa ahi donde va el filtro del aire y al mover esa pieza se suben a lo normal,pero luego vuelve a presentar la misma falla
