That is a truly ridiculous amount of space for a 48" boat!! It's the first motor yacht that I've seen so far which is brand new and priced accordingly, while still being both under $1mil and capable of holding a large family in comfort. I'm impressed. It does look like a great first boat for a family.
Gotta say, genuinely impressed with this boat. 6 real berths, bow cabin was unusually nice, nice big windows in all cabins as they should, solar panels, clever galley across, the right cozy impression in the aft deck and lounge layout, not sad ferry box room like some mega yachts have. Elegant aft deck even though the table might be a little weak for 6 but I could see myself actually buying this. And yes, I think AI captain can be huge. If the yacht can actually pilot itself including gripping the cleats. All sailing by voice command. No need for crew. Chuck along gently while you sleep.
The "dock itself" is what got my attention. As I've mentioned before in a previous post, about going for the Bering 80, I would for sure want the Raymarine Dock Sense. I've already contacted Raymarine and they say in a new build, they work with the shipyard to fully integrate into the vessel during the build. On a larger vessel for owning operating, like the B80, what could be better than a system like that ??? I'm really glad you showed this in the video because I feel like this is a life (and insurance) saver for owner operators without a crew. Another awesome video guys. EDIT I forgot to add this. One of the things I love about your videos is that you open everything (where permitted). I'm just curious if you've ever opened something and saw something that you shouldn't have seen?
That boat might be one of the better bout under 50 feet I have seen. the layoute is quite perfect and reasonable. And you have that little yacht feel (of how most people "belive" a yacht looks like, until you see one) The only thing I would request from Absolute, if I was to order one. Is to make those storage compartment on the swim platform into Drawers instead, since they are so low down, that you have to get down on all four, if you want to get something. I would op for a drawer with removable sides and all 3 drawers can be connected together if you are storing something long (f example, fishing rods or wake boards, etc.)
Omg you are so cute Victoria. That little spot in the kitchen was not for trash. It was for ice. I only know because my grandfather always had to have those things. You fill it with clean ice and add a champagne of your choice.
Wow what a boat for 48 feet 3 berths all with great head room and the VIP has a walk in wardrobe ... and very nice details through out and at a very reasonable price ... it's hard to believe it's only 48 feet ... a lot of sub 50 to 60 foot boats if not most have compromises .... but this one has no compromises on the design that i could see apart from a stand alone freezer ... but no doubt you could swap a fridge for a freezer ... thanks for sharing Rico & Victoria ... it actually reminds me of the Okean 50 you reviewed a few months back
Thank you for adding the performance graph, very interesting to see the fuel impact of the increased knots at cruising speed. Nice video, thank you very much!
If I got the 47 fly last year, which is really nice..then I saw the new designs this year, especially the redesign of the back of the yachts..I’d be maddd. The 60 fly is in my opinion.. heads and shoulders above anything else in its class... just amazing. Hoping to see a video on that from Cannes from you two. Vids have only gotten better over time..keep it up.
Your yacht previews are never boring; enthusiastic as well as informative. This 48 coupe could easily be a live-aboard. A little tight, but doable. I like it.
I just finished an Aquaholic video and decided that I had 'found my boat.' Then you two come along, keep me postponing my Saturday to do list just long enough to throw this wrench into my plans/dreams. Headed out after for a few scratch-offs. Need a quick $1 million.
8 way fractional ownership. Dirt cheap 100 grand. Do you need it more than 4 weeks a year? and because people don't use it much, it's probably free most of the year.
@@danfrederiksen7397 I was thinking along the lines of live-aboard. I know this is blasphemy, but as a single guy, I'd ask if they could eliminate the cabin with the 2 beds and make that a utility room: a couple of large freezer drawers, pantry space, and put the washer/dryer there. If they can't, then yes...8 way fractional! LOL
It means you supposed to have at least $500K sitting and waiting when get that quick $1 mill... because you need at least $1.5 mil to get this toy these days.
Range is always a major point of interest for me when it comes to stats. Black water management is also a big deal. It'd be lovely to see things like that included in your stats graphic. Cheers and love your work :)
Agreed! I am always looking at range and fuel consumption when I am researching boats. Looking to upgrade in the next couple years and while we aren't necessarily looking to cross oceans I am looking at being able to be away from docks for several days or even a week at a time. This boat checks many of the boxes aside from maybe a water maker which could be added aftermarket. We are looking for a less than 50 foot LOA with 3 cabins, water maker, with liveaboard capabilities. Would like to find something with a range of over 500 miles at trawler speeds but I'd be willing to look at fuel bladders too for the right boat.
@@TheFlooringInspector82 I would recommend the Swift Trawler series from Beneteau (not sure if I spelled it correctly) Has decent range plus speed. They are some of the best. Make great live aboard boats.
@@ayushbhaskar4795 I actually looked at a swift trawler 50 and I was indeed impressed. It's definitely a contender if there's a decent 50 or 47 available on the used market. I've also considered some of the smaller Nordhavn boats and looked at a Helmsman trawler too. I guess we'll see when the time comes what the used market is looking like.
Love the layout. Amazing to have such a great owners and VIP cabin on a 48. Really innovative! I'm a big flybridge fan so would love to see that version. Absolute are killing it at the moment!
‼️MEET UP ALERT! We will be doing a meet up at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this month - FLIBS. To find out the details check out Community Tab on YT, follow us on Instagram or FB and join us on the Patreon. Sorry, we could not make THE PREMIERE today, but here is another cool Tour for you! 👌🏻🤩
Since you two live aboard, what size boat would you consider ideal? I know there are a number of options at different sizes, but in terms of day to day comfort and utility, an approximation?
Thank you all for your continued work. It is so helpful in learning about all the various components and choices available. Best wishes on your continued observations and analysis!!
What a sensational vlog! A truly sensational boat loaded with innovative ideas. Not only a perfect tour but loaded with quid pro quo humour. I'm thinking of watching your outtakes first; just couldn't stop chuckling. The risque comment in the shower capped off one of your best ever vlogs!
Thank you again for this beautiful tour really enjoyed but what I enjoy even more is you both, really cool knowledgeable folks can wait for your next show. Until then cheers 🥂 👏
Been slowly going back through all the older videos (just found you guys in July '23). Anywho, this particular yacht is AMAZING for what you get. Probably the most bang for your buck, in the "under $1M" category.
There were a lot of “Wow” innovations on this yacht!!! “Unique,” is an understatement. Would love to hear Rico’s description of the Raymarine Dock Sense in use.
Hello from Texas, that is a really beautiful boat, great job on showing it off,!! And your lady, you look super nice in your jumper,!! And Reco, I hope you don't get up set,!! But you have a beautiful lady...
Thank you both for bringing this boat to us. With the washer/dryer option it would be an almost perfect choice as a small live aboard yacht. Now comes the....but....! I would like the same boat WITH a fly bridge. Other than that this is a really nice boat. Well laid out. Again, thanks.
What an amazing boat for only 48’. The amount of space is unbelievable and the price, about $900,000 US almost doesn’t seem right. Well done Absolute!!
Nice yacht, nice liveaboard even! Love the layout, roominess and thoughtful touches. It is a coup.. wish it was a hybrid electric with solar panels. That said, it's a beautiful coup!. Thanks so much. :-)
What a great boat. So many good ideas. For me, lose the wine chiller and give me an ice maker. Other than that, yet another great video from you both. Thanks.
Great work guys! What a boat.! I loved the comment about two in the shower.Ones short no problem ! Absolute you built a nice vessel for a boat of this size. You couldn't have picked a better team than these two wonderful people to display your product. They are top! Nothing ,but mariners who love nautical issues.A class act! With experience. Thanks.
Absolutely love you guys!! Chuckle a lot and love the way you actually showcase these yachts…. So much more comprehensive than any show I’ve ever watched… 🙏
Amazing boat for a 48 love those windows useless fridge's though, great tour thanks you guys love the the way you open everything Victoria's fantastic luxury.
Rico & Victoria thanks for this video like always. ABSOLUTE 48 COUPE has a lot of great ideas the Raymarine Dock Sensor for just a 48er. WOW! And Rico get real coffee first before you start recoding or Victoria will hit you on the you know where...
I really like the stern of the boat. The flexible furniture makes for a lot of entertaining possibilities.Solar panels are great!! The kitchen is very well designed.I like the 2 person shower ( "If one person is shorter"). Excellent demo of being short,Victoria!! Love from Vermont

Definitely unreal design
Harry porter boat!
@E M Yeah, no kidding. My first boat was a 17' Four Winns Freedom 170.🤣🤣

$893,177. A great boat for under a million bucks. Now all I have to do is win the POWER BALL tonight.

In the United States black water can be released if outside of 3 miles from the coastline. Check your country for it's regulations.

Great value for money. Smart use of space and layout. Beautiful design. Easily one of the best options below 50 feet
It would not be Saturday without NautiStyles! Wow cool-ass boat... great one guys.
Love the layout. Amazing to have such a great owners and VIP cabin on a 48. Really innovative! I'm a big flybridge fan so would love to see that version. Absolute are killing it at the moment!

Are you guys going to be at Houston Boat Show?
Damnit. Every time I come back to your channel, I want a boat!
Love the design of the stern area, very clean. Seems perfect for personal use like a weekend getaway for a couple.
Since you two live aboard, what size boat would you consider ideal? I know there are a number of options at different sizes, but in terms of day to day comfort and utility, an approximation?
The best yatch on this size i have ever seen, just wow, way better than anything else on every aspects !
Amazing is not enough, what a great boat and space utilisation. Only missing a seakeeper, hahaha. So much technology on a 48, really stunning
Cruising Speed 14-24 Kts Absolutely awesome
Wow, almost every vid I watch I think about the adaptable table thing too!! It can free up spaces and make them multi-use.
That is definitely the kind of boat I want. One that can dock itself only a larger version.
Thank you all for your continued work. It is so helpful in learning about all the various components and choices available. Best wishes on your continued observations and analysis!!
