Acrylic Marbled Yellow and Grey Full Look with Bling and Glitter

- Hi everyone,
In this video, I’m going to do some Grey and Yellow nails.
I’ve already prepped the nail and I’ll add the forms. I’ll then dehydrate and prime the nail. I’m going to use Blank Slate as a base layer. I’m going to mix my own grey with Mega White and Pure Black. I’m going to sculpt the pointer and pinky fingers out of Caribbean Sunsplash and then cap the nails. Pinch those nails.
On the middle finger, I’m doing a marble. Start with Soft Pastel Yellow, and add in Caribbean Sunsplash. Marble in the other 3 colours and work your way up the nail. I’m then going to use our homemade grey on the ring finger. I’m then going to pinch and cap both of the nails.
On the thumb, I’m going to copy the technique used for the middle finger, but use grey as my main colour with the yellow tones being marbled through. Pinch and cap this nails. Remove the forms and then go through the normal filing routine, sidewalls, then the cuticle area and then the surface of the nails. I’m then going to use gel residue wipe off to remove the dust.
I’m going to use Acrygel to apply some stones. I’m going to finish with cuticle oil.

To me, there is no other color combo that says "Springtime!" like yellow and grey. The grey is like winter fading away and the yellow is Spring saying "I'm here, baby!" with all the pretty colors. Great color choice, JJ! And gorgeous work, Kirsty! 😍🤩

Ok, it's no secret that I'm usually not a big fan of yellow nails. Yellow is just a really hard color for most women to wear. It brings out the sallow tones in "warm" skinned women and generally clashes like crazy with the "cool" blue under-toned skinned women. But that bright yellow shade of acrylic is gorgeous!!! Perfect for JJ and her warm toned skin. It looks really beautiful with the yellow/blue stones, too. And the marble! The silver glitter MADE it!
That’s crazy I feel like she does nails a little bit differently than how I seen other nail techs do it. Such a creative way to go about it! Love!
