How To Tie The Boom Hitch

The Boom Hitch looks more complicated to tie than it really is. The attributes of this knot are that even after it has been loaded, it is relatively easy to untie. This greatest benefit to this knot though is how resistant it is to sideways motion, even on smooth pipe. For these reasons, it is one of my go to knots for tying safety lines.
