She was probably 16 looking like she was 25. The bouncer said “is that your boyfriend” and she said “I don’t know who that is” and I felt this was very hurtful to this young man

Honestly as a die hard Nicki fan I don’t think people see the vulnerable side of her, she was in a abusive toxic relationship quite a while ago now with Meek Mill and when she came out and tried to speak on it no one believed her and everyone thought she was lying, but I love this reaction ❤️
people in the industry knew what was going on... the people who had a hard time to believe it was the general public for the meek mill situation... he was just too insecure for being with a sucessful woman so he was abusive to just overpower her... so this was very toxic..

I love the album (the pink print) the song was on because of course how good a lot of the songs are but also because her album before that received a good amount of backlash since it was more of a pop focused album then rap focused so I think she was pretty courageous for making her next album after that as vulnerable as she did with talking about her past relationships, her relationship with her mom (that she rekindled the following year) and speaking on the baby she almost had as a teen.
