Look for the Threads video by Kenneth D King for installation of invisible zippers. Takes a little longer but the results are worth it.

I bought a sewing pattern without images / only text for instruction and as a beginner, I was so confused by the belt part being separated from the zipper and connected with a button. There are no exact answers on how to do this or that. Everything needs to be learned. To minimize discrepancies, sweep all seams with a thread.
