- This video will go over the blackberry passport in 2023 and a few reasons why Blackberry ended support and also if this phone is worth it in 2023.
I still have this phone and the phone still looks new, I have never used a car...I got it in 2014 a d is the only phone that I still have from 2014...best quality phone I have ever owned, I've owned iphone and Samsung and they don't come close
What about apps and stuff? Do they work? Thinking of finding one.
@@johndosh6832 I have Blackberry Classic and nothing work ! No internet connexion for market place, no game.. Blackberry stop all, just youtube can run little bit

Its too bad the customer was totally disregarded. I love my Blackberrys.
I still use mine and it's the best phone design ever made.

I unfortunately use att (I'm not a fan of their politics) but it works.
@@ariaalex9067 No ! Nothing work ! Just youtube. No cell no sms no internet connexion for market place.. :(
I use mine as an mp3 type player. Take to the gym and use on wifi to listen to audio books, watch RUclips etc. Love the thing.

I was an avid user of BB until it's support was discontinued. Does that mean BB phones are no longer secure and any hacker can access your data?
If I get one today. Will I still be able to make calls and send sms? Also use apps if possible? What doesn't work in 2023?

@@obnoxioustermite7932 Im pretty sure these dont work anymore, i had a silver edition and it stopped working oneday straightup like the thing wasnt connecting to the network anymore.
I don't know of any US carrier that will carry it. The Passport runs on 3g, which has been discontinued in the US.
In india i just bought today, call and message is working but app is not supported

I thought about buying the BB Passport but eventually decided that the BB Classic was the better device for me and my wife. The Classic has the optical Touchpad which is superior to the integrated keyboard Touchpad. And the Classic's keyboard isn't split and has more characters/symbols. The smaller size was also a positive factor. But in recent years I began to read more ebooks/pdfs on smartphones, and they generally tend to be too slim. Perhaps this works good on the Passport? Does anyone have the experience and would like to share it?

Should have unlocked the bootloader and let people install android once they dropped support and servers.

What about key 2 can we use it in 2023?
Most (if not all) apps still work on Android 8.1. But SMS/Calls functionality depends on carrier (I don't have any issues with that in Poland, but YMMV).
