Larson is absolutely the best teacher I've ever heard, with regards to riding a motorcycle. The way he breaks it down and conveys information is great. More!!!
I have to say that I just tried my first set of IRC tires this weekend. I decided to try them because of your videos and I must say they performed fantastic! Definitely buying another set and thanks for these videos.
Always awesome! Man I'd love to put a slow motion camera on your clutch and throttle to see what your hands are doing during this. The clutch control must be amazing!
I would absolutely love to see a video with a triple screen shot were you could see each hand and also the rider and obstacle. Especially on a double blip! You may have to build camera mounts, or put two cameras on a chest harness.....
Getting stuck on purpose has tremendously improved my riding. Spots where I used to get stuck on purpose I can now usually clean or if I do get stuck, I know how to quickly get unstuck and keep moving
There’s another benefit to no dabbing: less risk of injuring your knee of the leg you’re dabbing on. This is particularly more important in Enduro where the speeds are quicker than on a trials bike, and thus more likely to rotate or impact the knee ligaments.
You've obviously slipped a cap (hopefully not locked out). Too true, dude. Especially in the rocky, ankle-breaker sections! I've even dabbed in sand and my knee partially dislocated for a second or two. I'm glad this was mentioned.
Always enjoy your riding tips. Your delivery and explanations are very detailed and along with the video they have helped me out alot. Still hoping to get together with you for a training session soon. Thanks Rich.
The more you watch these videos, the more you do his drills, the more competent you get because of rich, the more you realize how good he is. Thanks for the videos rich
Great tips, I try and do these myself, but we always need to remember to weight the pegs, it’s one of my rules to live by for enduro riding! Thanks! Side note, both my trials bike and my enduro bike are both are wearing some of the best tires out there IRC 🏆
@@IRCTireUSAMoto true comment here. Usually someone only has 1 of 2 of these qualities. So glad I found your channel. Learning tons man. Thanks for these videos
Wondering if u could do a lesson for the big boys I’m 6”3 280 as of today top athletic weight as in six pack is 230 I’ve ordered the race tech springs and the fuel and air products to give my poor bike a break but I notice I’m not made for this sport but still love it
Hey Rich.... Could you go into detail about SAG and where that magic number the manufacturers sets... comes from..... And do you ever change it based on places your riding or conditions??? Thanks bud.... Awesome videos
wonderful, efficient, clear, good diction (thanks for French guy like me !), good video related to the words, thanks for your work and continue ! A suggestion : sometimes the video shows what we should not do, sometimes maybe it is not clear : am I watching the "to do" or the forbidden technique ? why not put a cross on the vid then on wrong techniques ? ride safe and have fun
I'm wondering what's happening after the second blip and you wheelie to keep your front tire up. Do you sort of move the clutch in and out around the catch point with minimal throttle?
Awesome tips as always. NEED SOME HELP HERE My question is..... My wife is a new rider progressing really fast. She rides a 2003 xr100. Shes 5 feet tall, 113 pounds, very tiny chic. So in 9 months shes learned to wheelie, corner like a pro, ride on ice all winter with studded tires, learned static balance ( like no hands standing on the pegs for ten mins plus) , riding over logs, double blip over logs 12 inch diameter, now learning a 18 inch diameter white pine log. What bike would you move her onto next, her goals are hard enduro type trail riding. I'm thinking crf150rb, what would you get your tiny wife? Her Instagram is Jess.rainville
Hey i replied to another one of your comments on this channel. My gf is in the same boat, she started on a crf100 and she's moved up to a KX100 now. She's not as advanced as your wife, but the crf100 was lacking in the power department were she couldn't even make it up small hill climbs. I debated greatly about what bike to get, the crf230 or ttr230 were options, but the huge factor was the weight of the bikes, they weigh more than my yz250x. So even though the kx100 is a motorcross bike, there's no other bike that has that power to weight, it's got 30 hp and only weighs 170 lbs! Stock the low end power is non-existent, but top end is insane, too much for my gf. So i have parts on order, 12oz flywheel weight, skid plate, rad guard/brace and maybe a different pipe/silencer later on. From what I've read the flywheel weight makes a huge difference so we'll see.
Also i should add, my gf is the same size, 5 feet tall and 110lbs, on the KX100 she's on her tippy toes, but with softer valving it would let it sit a bit lower, stock valving is pretty harsh.

You articulate technique better than anyone I’ve came across on RUclips. 🍻 Sir.
Most underrated channel on RUclips. Look forward to all your videos.
Totally agree! awesome tips!
Appreciate that!!
Glad you guys enjoy them!! Please spread the word and share!!
Another great bunch of tips. The slow mo's are really help me to analyse what you are doing. Thanks Rich & IRC..
Glad you're enjoying them!!
Second that. Video editing of advice over the slo-mo is evident and well-coordinated.
Nothing better than getting stuck and into some physical hardship. Love it! Great vids and tips. Cheers
This is the best instructional series. Finally someone to explain dynamics of this stuff well. Taking this out and applying it pays big time.
Always awesome! Man I'd love to put a slow motion camera on your clutch and throttle to see what your hands are doing during this. The clutch control must be amazing!
Thanks so much! That would be cool! Maybe in an upcoming episode!!

It’s been a while since this was posted…what have you guys been able to do with this great idea? Super excited to learn more!
Arguably the best off-road riding channel on RUclips
Perfect explanation, perfect communicator, congratulations and thank very much you inspire me to go out and ride harder like a pro 🤘

Where can i go to see your hard enduro races? Do you record them? Thanks for the channel
WOW good job..
can we do double blip on 4 stroke bike? thanks in advance
Should find the guy who gave a dislike to this video and run his hand through a rear sprocket WFO.
Lol. Thats pretty harsh. But we appreciate your enthusiasm!
@@IRCTireUSAMoto Sorry I retract that comment.
When I go to practice events, I make sure to use old tyres to work on maintaining traction
#1 Did you ride the covid crusher? #2 Will I see you at tough like rorr? Really enjoy the channel.
No on that race. most likely will be at Battle of the Goats and TKO
