I think its because it was first REAL all stars so she wanted to spice things up
I mean she’s always been the tough love sort of judge, but she probably thought “this is all stars you’re the best of the best so you need to be held to a higher standard” so she went in very hard the first episode. She did apologize for it but yeah it was very harsh.

I’m glad Detox admitted sending Alyssa home was a mistake at the reunion. Alaska’s meltdown was instant karma for the episode before. Alaska eliminating Tati because of a shirt….was a fucking choice.

Me too. Adore doesn’t conform to what others think her drag should be. She’s not a technical queen. She doesn’t cinch etc but that’s just her drag. And she’s amazing. It took her a long time to be confident in herself and her drag and she didn’t need to inadequate or less than. She will forever be one of my favorite queen s just because I love her individuality
Katya would be able to win this if it wasn’t for Ru favoring Alaska on the lipsyncs, The queens saving Roxxy multiple times, Ginger, Alyssa, and Tatianna leaving too early , Adore tapping out, and if Michelle would stop talking harshly

They were the highlights for me as well. When Alaska sent Tati home the first time and she was like “yep”, it summed up the entire season.
The Rolaskatox situation was SO frustrating and you really bled for the girls who could've (and should've) stayed longer or done better... But oh my god was it great TV.

No it wouldn't have changed anything. Alaska was primed to win AS2 from the get go,regardless of whether or not Adore would have stayed. Roxxxy may have gone home earlier but we also wouldn't have gotten her iconic Read U,Wrote U verse lol.

She get help from numerous queen like Bianca, Courtney, Laganja.. While in AS2 most of the queen is from season 5 which is the most cutthroat seasons.. Even if u put Adore in season 5, she will not make it to the top. I'm not saying she sucks but she is not suit for a very cutthroat competition..
@@muhdamirul2225 what do you mean favored? The favored queen there is Darienne since she survived three awful lipsync and got to the top four instead of Laganja, Trinity, and Dela. She has put up a good performance in season 6 and it’s not her fault Bianca is helping her.
Is it just me or did the queens not consider track record when sending queens home. Even tho alyssa and tatiana just came off of a winning they were still sent home.
They absolutely didn't. AS3 was where the queens tried to unify their elimination criteria, and I believe they didn't start using the phrase "track record" till AS4
If I remember correctly, they weren't. Because Alyssa took into account the fact that Katya had been in the top in the previous challenge, when she eliminated Ginger, and Phi Phi practically ate her alive for it.

@@tohnalydfor many reasons. One, it’s as if saying that Adore deserves the spot more than Katya. Two, Adore’s shtick/drag is kind of leaning towards more to something unpolished but in a good way - something that Katya is not going for. Third, it could be because Adore did so well in her own season but she ended up a runner-up, insinuating that Katya could do the best lip sync ever but she will always be the second best. So many… or maybe, Katya was touchy because Adore left due to mental health issues and it’s probably too early to make jokes about.

From what's been said since, they didn't have much of a choice. Production was all-but forcing them to say something like that, even though she didn't want to. Remember that you see an edited and coerced version sometimes.
Yeah but nobody forced phi phi to try to sabotage her friends by manipulating them and playing mind games. I'm just glad Tati and Alyssa didn't put up with her attitude.

@@Gandy2 People have a choice on what to say, even in contract. There are countless stories of queens refusing to say certain things because they know production just wants the drama. The editing does play a big role but at the end of the day Phi Phi was still a bitch for no reason. There is no way a lot of the things she has said could be taken out of context.

Katya was fun
I couldn't get to like Roxxxy, Alaska and Detox because of the way they treated Jinkx (who's always been gentle, sensible and talented), AS2 made it worse. At least Roxxxy wasn't being a jerk, but she only made it to the final because her friends kept saving her. It would've been better for her to go home sooner, so she wouldn't be remember as "the one who wasn't suposed to be there" or as the worst part of Read U Wrote U. Alaska only won the season because she's Ru's protegee. Even in the lip sync battles, she didn't deserve so many wins, especially when she crossed the line (what happened to "drag is not a contact sport?!"). It would've been poetic justice to see Rolaskatox lose to another "loveable weirdo" (who played fair and has always been gentle, sensible and talented).
