- New Delhi: On 'Talking Point', Sumeer Bhasin, an Independant Afghanistan Analyst and an entrepreneur in Afghanistan from 2002 to 2020 in conversation with StratNews Global Associate Editor Amitabh P. Revi.
Sumeer Bhasin discusses the September 30th statement from the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan(IRA) appointed Ambassador in India, Farid Mamundzay "closing" the mission in Delhi because among other issues of "a lack of support from the host government", allegations of financial mismanagement, the Consul General(CG)of Afghanistan in Mumbai, Zakia Wardak, and acting Consul General of Afghanistan in Hyderabad, Sayed Mohammad Ibrahimkhil(also IRA appointed) meeting with senior Ministry of External Affairs of India officials, the CGs' strong rebuttal of the Ambassador's statement and declaration that the Embassy and consulates remain open and "disavowing the long absent Envoy", India's engagement with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Taliban government, the trajectory and reasons for the U.S. engagement post their exit, China's presence, Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacks in Pakistan, the Durand Line and Islamic State of Khorasan Province(ISKP) attacks in Afghanistan.
