"The Messenger of Allah, MOHAMMED (ﷺ) said: 'The sun and moon are two signs of Allah (SWT), the Most High, and they do not become eclipsed for death or birth of anyone, rather Allah (SWT), the Mighty and Sublime, strikes fear into His slaves through them.'"

You haven't seen totality, have you? It's nothing like a partial eclipse. It's really spectacular, and you can't really quite catch it on camera. 99% eclipsed is really nothing like totality. The corona of the sun is only visible at 100% eclipsed. When you see it for yourself with your own eyes, it's really shocking and awe inspiring. It's not like anything you've seen before. I was really surprised how amazing it was.

If you didn't either say or know someone who said "oh my god, or look at that" today during the eclipse, you weren't really there. God is more real than what we know as real.
