I think there is less of a need for fiber, some tribes still chew roots for the juice and spit out the fiber. I agree that all the processed foods are bad but also due to us manipulating plants, most of those are also quite different nutritionally from what they were 5000 years ago. I eat only meats and have done very well for 4+ years now.

Preagricultural humans are estimated to have eaten 70g of fiber per day? Based on what information? That's quite an assertion to make while not even providing any explanation or rationale much less any evidence.
Where is the research? According to Miki Ben-Dor we were hyper-carnivores until 11kya. So even less carbs and fiber and lots of fatty meat. No reason for salt restriction on low carb diets
