- The new RSI Zeus is easily one of my new favorite ships and I dont regret picking it up. I just wish it launched in a different patch. Trying to make this space RV feel like home has been a absolute PAIN with 3.23 being sassy. 3.24 and 4.0 are right around the corner.... I am just so tired of falling through the planet. Let me explore.... PLEASE

Teleporting a player who's fallen through the surface back to the surface needs to be an expedited feature. It's rage-inducing!
seriously. Its a rare bug but its the worst one when it happens.
@@ItsCozyBoyi dont have the game, but when i try the free fly it was the first bug that happened to me...
It happens due to poor collision and desync....I don't see how they are going to teleport you out when they can't accurate determine your characters position
Well, they are. Most of the desync issues happen due to low server frame rates. They are tackling the low server rates with fixed dynamic server meshing. But there's a lot of issues to work out. 3.24.2 and above is actually the 4.0 build minus all the features. New build, new tech, new bugs. Despite what gamers think, it is a complicated problem. It's not like they forgot to check "don't fall through the planet" checkbox. It's like there is no single answer why some guys can't get a date. Or why AI would stand on chairs. It's more complicated than that. No Man's Sky had falling through the planets months after release. Starfield still has it. It is always a multifaceted complicated problem. But gamers just scream, "just fix it!". They are.
Sadly, this is the cost of playing an alpha, whether you like the fact or not. Facts doesn't care about how your feelings. They're just facts. Until 1.0, expect bugs. Even the rage inducing ones.
@DamonCzanik Clipping through geometry is NOT a desync / server issue, it's a geometry issue. Even a 10:50 server mesh config wouldn't fix that. I've merely suggested in the original comment that a query>teleportation would do the trick. Wouldn't be the only way to fix it.
Many games have many different ways of handling it, sure...SC needs to make it happen too. There are very few glitches and bugs that are more frustrating. Invisible asteroids might be up there with these bugs that simply can't be worked around by the player. All I'm sayin.
Thousands of hours playing every patch since 3.0 in 2017 for me btw. Just sayin.
Those quick polaroid/photo captures bookending each small chapter are some of the best little editing details I've seen in any SC video. Fantastic work.
Thanks! I just started to get back into film photography and that new hobby Is starting to creep into this one lol
@@ItsCozyBoy A active org and the virtual photography community is what keeps me playing.
This has been a brutal year for stability and these last two patches have made life way harder than it needs to be. Glad you're showing off the bugs and weaving them into the journey.
I haven’t played in about 18 months, was thinking about redownloading to check it out and see if it’s got any better. But sounds like it’s only gotten worse, am I better off just keeping on the shelf for another year?
@FatherBoots I think it's in an _okay_ state right now for 3.24.3, but 4.0 will be the next release and that could be either a very good thing or very bad thing. Only time will tell.
@@kalaninalak nice, I started the 100gb download before my work shift today. I just got a flight stick for shits and giggles and was messing around in Elite Dangerous and some other games. Made me want to check out SC again
@@FatherBoots well, welcome back citizen. If you've got a fighter, definitely check out the Save Stanton phase 3 mission in the priority tab of the contract manager. Its an Idris fight and it can be a bit desync-y, but it's fun!
Credit to you for not editing out the Star Citizen frustrations and bugs like many do. Reality is that the game still is very rough around the edges and it's a bit of a disservice to potential new players who watch the shiny vids then hit the brick wall of reality once they start playing. It's a beautiful game but it's also a very harsh mistress at times.
"Where are you going, missile? - Of course, THEIR missiles work JUST fine..."
I felt that! 😀
This game is so frustrating to play, ive had so many moments of frustration playing this game every time.
Ill admit i keep coming back because it is quite literally the most beautiful and breathtaking game ive ever seen in my entire life.
This is almost exactly how I describe it to friends and others who constantly talk shit about it without having ever played it! When it works, it is unlike any game I have ever played, period. Sure, the emphasis is on "when it works" but still.
"I tell ya Zoe, we find ourselves a mechanic, get her running again. Hire on a good pilot. Maybe even a cook. Live like people. Small crew, them as feel the need to be free. Take jobs as they come-and we’ll be under the heel of nobody ever again."
- Captain Malcolm Reynolds, Firefly
Star Citizen bugs are one thing, but when it hits you with that *series of unfortunate events*, it can really make me question my sanity.
Dude the editing on this is spectacular! You have a great eye for shot flow. Establishing shots, pans, tights... you definitely know what you're doing! Definitely subbed.
"Especially the Corsair Plushie. All that firepower, now gone, just like the real life ship." , totally slayed me.
Falling through the world after 14 years of developmnent is inexcusable.
Happened 3 times to me this week😢
Honestly, thank you. I have found it so hard to enjoy a lot of SC content creators work of late because so much of it is just... not normal gameplay. If I boot it up right now on the PU, what's there is not what 90% of creators are doing or experiencing right now. And the bits that are similar? The bugs, crashes, the broken stuff? They don't include. Feels so nice to have a creator go "yes... its bloody broken at times and it hurts."
Your videos are like glimpses into the future of the game, SC is so beautiful, and when they fix all desyncs and glitches one day, it'll be a game to remember
When ? Lol
@@lanceobe6801 Soon , didnt u know? Soon soon....
@positronikiss I honestly think they're spending more time and effort on creating ships for revenue, If the ship sells dry up so will the game.
@@lanceobe6801 100% true. They have absolutely no intention of fixing all the bugs and glitches. They dont have to, because they can just flag their game as "Alpha Early Access" while selling ships for several hundreds of dollars on their store. Theyre also slowly running out of money, so thinking about it, they f*cked themselves because:
Game is broken, and extremely well known among the gaming community for exactly that.
Game is overpriced, ingame ships are overpriced, everything overpriced.
Game is also running out of money, because there arent too many people keen on spending a weeks groceries on a digital ship.
So all in all, theyre running out of money because theyre not generating enough revenue BECAUSE their game is f*cking broken to the core and its known for it, which is the reason every 2nd possible player forgets about it once they discover the instability of the game, and its ALSO the reason why EVERY THIRD player uninstalls after 3 sessions because nobody is there to show them how to dodge and evade said issues.
They could fix their game, but its so unbelivably f*cked they would run out of money while doing so. They could add new ships for more revenue, which they will, but it wont be nowhere near enough because nobody wants to spend absurd amounts of money on a game that barely works. So no matter what they do, theyre kinda f*cked. Either fix your game and loose money and time doing so, or dont and dont get nearly enough money aswell because the technical issues are scaring potential players off. They shouldve fixed their game once a year, every year since its release. Now they have a massive pile of bugs hiding inside their (probably extremely messy) code. Also, the fact dear Robert has to make every single feature so absolutely next level is not welcome in some aspects. Yes its cool if my ship's landing gear is ACTUALLY being stored inside the ship when not deployed. Its not cool when i cant use my landing anymore because of all that fancy needless garbage.
@@lanceobe6801 IF IF IF.
You know, it's actually really nice to see that I'm not the only one that deals with all the SC death traps.
i want to like this game, i want it to be so fun... i bought it to play with friends because they got super excited for pretty ships...
but you know... while we were out, the regular players we teamed up with almost seemed paranoid...
dont stand on the ship, you might fall through... dont touch the cargo, it might disappear... dont walk carelessly, you might fall through the space station... and the other day their entire ship was missing from their account...
at some point i wonder at what point its not fun?
as a 2013 backer, I enjoy this content. Great camera work and editing, I look forward to more.
This was such an awesome video YT just recommended.
Thank you very much!
Great storytelling, great vieeo footage, great music... instantly subbed! ❤
I LOVE the intro on the in game couch. It feels so chill, but stays (mostly) in universe, with no bedroom, gaming chair, or mic in sight. Great work.
I would love to play this game… however, I’m not willing to lose progress to random stupidity
Good news! Theres no progress to be made!
it has been sooooooooooooooooooo frustrating lately, thank you for posting the real experience mixed with fantastic storytelling/role play
It just needs 10 more years and it'll be stable.
Hopefully it’ll be ready for when I am retired.
My grandkids will have a incredible fleet.
Bro, just one more 177 million dollars. Just one more and the game will be stable.
Man next level vlog / video... Amazing cinematography and edition 🙌
Work-around simulator, way of die simulator, hangor elevator door open/close simulator, you name it!
Also, I also appreciate that you put all of the songs you used in the video in a playlist!! Wow. That's some love right there. Excellent music selection too btw.
the production value on this is really good man, thanks for the entertaining video
This is exactly why I have not played SC in 2 years!
Scam game with microtransactions on flash ships to keep you hooked on all the crashes and bugs. Have no idea why people promote it l think they are the ones sending money to the Nigerian prince also.
Star Citizen-Masochists Ver. 1.0 coming soon. New titles-Gluttons for Punishment and What did I do? Beautiful potential game, and I say potential because I refuse to spend my hard-earned money on something that isn't close to being finished or fairly reliable. More power to you Cozy Boy and all the other die hards who play this title. I'm going to wait some more, maybe withing the next year. If the developers can tie all of these features together into a game that doesn't screw you all the time, I'll cut loose with some funds and jump in.
I'm impressed man, great video. Editing is good, music is good, and star citizen just being damn beautiful helps too (and good shots).
Feel your pain, this last year with all the persistence/physicalized and now server meshing focus has been agony. The simple log in to have some fun has been absent completely. I'm really hoping the worst is behind us. I've just finished the latest PTU play test with the Polaris (and honestly was expecting to not even be able to pull a ship, let alone do a mission). Totally awesome ship, bed logged fine, shot the size 10 torps with a 2 out of 2 hit for NPC ships, cleared a bunker and used the med bed without issue. Followed that up with an EVO Pyro jump gate test and jumped 4 times back to back. Taking this all as a positive sign! It certainly feels like the relentless pursuit of tech required to build the game out has seen everything else left in the rear view mirror. Still, onwards and upwards.
2:22 that was smooth as hell
If you're falling through the planet just log out, don't backspace. Then at least you won't lose your stuff.
Best Transition hands down 2:22 one of my favourites to do or when revealing text
When you fall in the planet you need to escape to menu so you keep your gear
This is one of the best SC videos I have ever seen. Great job!!
Torn between the CL and ES personally... cargo space vs QT fuel... with Pyro Coming, it's a tough call
So many beautiful shots ! The overall quality is just amazing ! Good work 🖖
Loved this adventure and glad you got the little fellow back. Some of these bugs really pee me off, but I can't stop playing it. The scenery is. Some of the best I have seen. And every now and then, you get a breathtaking moment that just makes you say wow. o7
When I first saw the Zues I didn't think about Star Wars or Star Destroyers I thought about the old sci fi rpg game Traveller and the starter ship there which was an Aurora class scout ship.
Been like this on and off since i was lured into thinking this was a decent balanced "close to finish" game ... the truth is you need to spend many many hours and resets to get to a place where you feel you get something back.. and then there are the die hard griefers and gangers.. makes the game shit for new comers.
just found your channel and i gotta say, your editing is top tier and you deserve way more subscribers
I just started playing this game a few months ago- I encounter like 5-10 bugs every session. I hear it used to be more stable but this is what SC is to me as a new player. You have to make your peace with it or stop playing for a while. I can't imagine if I spent real $ on a ship tho. I'd be livid. Even so, I'm reluctant to grind for ships (which actually sounds fun) because I'm afraid of wipes. i want to like this game but they don't make it easy.
What's to fear? The wipes are announced ahead of time
I love the video style you got here! The photos at the end are just amazing.
I’ve been a baker for a while now and I have to say this may be the best edited video I’ve watched. Very well done !
The quality of your videos is mind-blowing, you really are in your own class
That is a slick paint on that Zeus!
Always remember to turn your shield on when you are landing is you assuming I turned my shield off.
Your production value is top tier. I don't even play SC and watched the whole thing.
The editing and storytelling is really immersive, I love it !
Your production is awesome. Love it!
the wing scene shift from atmo to Crusader Planet at 2:26 was awesome!!
As always, amazing work with the soundtrack. I really appreciate the atmosphere you create for your videos.
Also hoping for more stability in the next patch, but I'm glad to see you can still have fun with the game!
I love the vibes in this video and the way you edited it. The SC community needs more content like this!
Glad to see you putting out content, I just love it and makes me kind of want to go back and play :) Great work!
3 hours of gameplay without getting anything actually done, a great representation of Star Citizen
Dude, sorry about your penguin...the first one anyway! Fun video!!
Best Star Citizen content on YT! Even with all the glitches and 3.24.x problems. Keep it up!
Nice video! True to star citizen form with the bugs ruining hours of work, which is why it hasn't appealed to me or my group in a long time now the novelty has worn off. Can I please request in the future you surround the polaroids with black or dark grey, the white surround was like a flashbang lmao.
I hear you loud and clear! No more flash bangs 😂
Been wanting to buy SC for awhile but then I see a video like this and see all the struggles & glitches. But then again the visuals in this game are amazing and that space walk 🤩
That was a fun watch! Thank you for posting!!
Dude this was soooo entertaining!! Thanks for sharing with bugs and all!!
First time seeing one of your videos. Super impressed with your work!
Great editing. Thanks for the entertainment. It almost made star citizen look borderline playable!
I’d happily fly with you in the Corsair!
Finding a good playmate/crew is a real pain lately
Dude, your frames are fantastic, what hardware you running?
At 3:15; That's a Champagne landing. ;-)
I'm glad you recovered your friend (name?).
How do your videos look so spectacular every single time? Incredible work Cozy.
Glad you found your little guy again :D
nice cinematics brother this was a good watch
Loved flying my Zeus CL. Was a fun fly but I decided to upgrade to a Starlancer to give that a try. Also, you experienced more bugs in this one episode than I have in the entirety of 3.23 💀
I hear 3.23 has been a mixed bag for so many people. I've been very un lucky... I'm pumped for the Starlancer. the TAC looks like it'll be a lot of fun
@ItsCozyBoy you legally have to play kickstart my heart or thunderstruck when flying the tac. But about the bugs, the only one I've encountered is the 890 blocked corridor.
Great editing and cinematography.
its quite funny that most successful new star citizen content creators seem to be from viewers being entertained by the endless frustration
I like your music choices.
my first time airplane star citizen was over two years ago and I remember the excitement enjoy filling that I was a part of something bigger than myself fast-forward to today. I’m burnt out. I still update the game regularly and logon just to make sure my accounts up and running, but I’m honestly burn out on the game, I truly feel for those who’ve backed the games since day one and those who are no longer plan anymore who died waiting for this game to release some days I watch videos and think to myself at this game has great potential and other days I think to myself that this is the most sophisticated scam ever to exist.. I’ve become semi-disillusion with the game, but still hope that it comes out not for me, but for the loyal backers who have supported it, and defended it from the very beginning… Leslie I would just like to say that this game has probably been the most wholesome friendly and helpful community that I’ve ever experienced. I remember playing the game late nights up to three or 4 AM pressing F12 to communicate with anyone in the you asking for help and they’re always more than happy to come and give me advice or tips.( or rescue me when i crashed my ship)
Dude I appreciate how much work you put into this video. I like the style.
Omg you found the kid back! Mine disappeared never to be seen a trail of ever again...Kids I swear, one day they just move out and don't look back anymore 😓
You can't escape the difficult days. You can only learn to live through them.
We all know who have been playing this tech demo, it has in my opinion gotten worse since 3.20. More bugs on top of year old bugs, time sinks, like item banks, crappy fight model, non sensical MFD´s....the list is long! Admit that I have run out of hopium and copium!
CB always amazing job on your vids Dude! Admirable, and also great that you show that this tech demo is not just a walk in the park and fun to play!
Cheers!
the zeus has also quickly become my favorite ship :D i got the interdiction version so im still waiting on that but its nice they let me try the standard version while i wait for it >.
Even with the bugs your storytelling videos make me feel like immediately wanting to enter the verse again (yes, I got some burnouts with those bugs). Its always gorgeous to watch your videos. The transition starting at 2:20 gave me a "wow" feeling that made me come back a few times to enjoy. You have no idea how I truly enjoy to embark on an adventure you show us in your videos. I hope someday I have the honor to meet you in the verse. Wish you the best, Cozy! o7
I gotta ask... How many people deck out their ship with food, guns, and gear, only to have some bug take it all away?
I want to be able to live out of my ship for extended adventures, but there is always some random bug that takes my joy.
I load my ships with food drink weapons and gear specific to their role.
I did that a couple times. Now I just don't play.
This is a good video to show anyone who doesn't want to try because they've heard there are tons of bugs - it's true, but there's more to the story, it really depends on how high your jank tolerance is
Pls do a tutourial on how to film those cinematic shots🙏
I learned my lesson. Any rare items that I'm not willing to lose stay in Orison storage.
I started playing this game a couple days ago, and I fell into map on my first day, and even worse, I didn't die.
Nice adventure! keep up the good work :)
Also looking forward to the MR. Your videos really inspire me to want to play this game more, and not just follow the development along from the sidelines.
That camera work👌
The way you play this makes me think this game is like heaven for griefers.
It is
Fellow Zeus enjoyer here 👋. It's a really fun ship and I love it.
Bruh it's such a struggle right now.. I've had such a series of unfortunate events happen to me today that IDEFK.. I've never been so upset with a freakin game lol
these time limited events not triggering as intended causing half the rush and hassle for me to begin with :| ... I can't wait for the cozy days again
Whoa you can put furniture in ships now? That's amazing
If you clip through a planet or station, Alt-F4 out of the game and wait around 20 minutes. You will usually re-spawn at your last hab location with all the gear in your possesion.
That vid had a truly cozy vibe to it.
Classic Star Citizen! I found that it's wiser to store all of your gear in a container box seeing how it somehow survives the ship exploding. If you store anything in the ship storage it will go poof! I never run around with rare items or pledge/subscriber gear due to the fact that it can be lost through no fault of your own. Also, NEVER land or sit still with your shields down... NEVER! You would think we could at least get back to our ship wreck and salvage components and cargo from the husk, ... but nope. NPCs or players usually will outright destroy you versus soft-deathing the ship.
Geez that Shield what set up are you running
i love this :D so true the bugs and crashes server error is real...
Star Citizen NEEDS a Contact History, like in Elite Dangerous, so you can see, and know, and seek wonderful bloodlust revenge on the player that killed you, or know if was an npc. lol
I love the video man, the story telling is amazing keep it up! (also if you need a sound designer hmu!)
The only reaqson I bought the Galaxy last year was so that I could have access to the carrak... The longer they take to implement modularity, the happier I'll be...
I love the positivity and the shared love of the game. Great video.
Thanks for the smile and I only laugh at your pain because it is shared ;)
