It's called Tuskar Rock Lighthouse. It is only 11km off the coast of County Wexford, Ireland. The camera is way above sea level, so you would expect to see everything of the lighthouse at this short distance!
i know this will be a weird requst but is there any possiblity that you film the same good quality video but this time when its dark? I am only interesting at seeing the lighthouse's light and would realy appreciate it. I am wondering how well can u see the lighthouse light to the shore but i can't do this experiment by my self. I would also like to know the name of your location and the distance to the lighthouse. If you can do this please answer me so i will know to look at the video. In any case i am greatful.

you should retake the same shot from the shore line to see if u can see less of the island mass : ) get the distance also and calculate the curvature of the earth : ) seems pretty flat planet wait a minute ?
Who said this was 36 miles away. If it was 36 miles away it would be obscured by the curvature of the Earth and it would be closer to Wales than it is to Ireland.
