- Chief Judge Jerry Wiese discussed Wednesday's courtroom attack on Judge Mary Kay Holthus and multiple court marshals at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
Why was the first question not why such a dangerous man wasn't handcuffed?
Are we serious that we can’t figure this out. He was there for sentencing. He had been found guilty. He should have been cuffed and leg irons when he was found guilty. He would have been hard pressed jumping that judges bench if he were properly detained. That should have been the first change. And WAY TO GO LAW CLERK!!!!!
Where was security? Safe? Unique? What the hell????
IMHO: The biggest mistake was to allow him into the Courtroom un-cuffed! My opinion only!
They always have bailiffs there. Ask them about the girl whose baby died naturally and how they tried to frame her? Or ask them about the judge who released a pedophile that killed a hole family? Here they are acting like they have no bailiffs present.
It was disgusting to watch all of those other “men” do NOTHING!
@@spaceace1006IKR!
@@spaceace1006Bruce Rivers from Criminal Lawyer Reacts said since he was out on bond before sentencing that's why he wasn't cuffed but also said since he was going to be receiving jail time he should have been flanked by officers ready to put him into cuffs immediately afterwards however the officer was looking down not paying attention.
The officer should be looking to apply at Walmart as security, not protecting a federal judge.
where was the taser? and why wasn't he hand cuffed?
Shackles and handcuffs work, straight jacket too
I pray for the safety of the judges who have to do their job in a lawless country where criminals take advantage of the system.
don't pray DO SOMETHING
All men standing around while others and the judge were getting attacked should be ashamed. 😡
There were 2 Guys in him! They reacted as quickly as they could! He definitely has his @$$ handed to him!
Exactly my thoughts too!
Shackles work!
This is nationwide and a national embarrassment.. English language means nothing, we have people to do security at courthouses, jails, prison, retail, banks and over and over they are not ready and not capable of providing security. See people routinely do things that require physical intervention and our " security" private and government employed are a joke.Too many days of not being ready and when they are asked to do the job they are surprised and caught off guard and results in injury or death.. this guy should have been stopped as he stood up not after..
This guy is another politician!
God Bless her Hope she's going to be OK
where were the guard's weapons?
This Chief Judge is sorry. He should have answers right away as to what steps to take for the safety of everyone.
When someone is found guilty cuffs and leg irons are necessary not that hard.
Please tell us about the false case on baby that died naturally but you tried blaming the innocent mom? Please tell us why you released a pedophile that killed a family? Why do you keep playing victim especially when you should have prior knowledge of mental illness. Stop distracting people from your corrupt system.
There's no audio to this video. Am I the only one who doesn't have audio?
There is audio for me either turn up the volume on your device or restart it and watch again
no audio.... who checked this before they published it????
i can hear it right now.
me too
yeah no sound
This is weird I also get sound and two of you can't get sound. Puzzling.
Bro I swear this country does something all at once to start the new year issue. Now it’s about to be people attacking in court. She’s going to give him everything she can to the last min lol
This bozo career government employee needs to immediately be fired!
she needs worker's comp
The judge did not want to give him the mental help that he needs. In fact, she said that he should get a "taste of something else". Then, he snapped and attacked her. We need better mental health protocols to protect the rights of the mentally ill.
He sat there and explained his “mental issues” to the judge meaning he had a full understanding of what was going on. Problem is that was just excuses as he has not left his violent behavior in the past.
He was given probation 3X for violent offenses, his chances came and passed. As someone that suffers with mental health including anger/personality disorder I feel no sympathy for this man. I have been on my states version of "Obamacare" and it's my responsibility to go to my mental health appointments with my Prescriber, Therapist and Peer therapist if I fail to do so and act on my anger impulses it falls on me.
I Baker acted myself in the past week because of violent urges that I felt little control over.
He has/had opportunities to work on himself but instead he flucked around and found out, now he's likely going to have plenty of time to get his rage out. Mental health isn't a catch-all excuse, sometimes people are irredeemable or choose to be, IDK which one he is but at this point it's too late and he doesn't deserve the resources.
You speak the truth, EricK.@@EricK-tb2dn During the many years of my career working in Correctional Ed in Southern California, those with mental/emotional illness issues were put on probation with the condition they attend with fidelity their mental health appointments. Those who worked their programs successfully had better outcomes in maintaining positive mental/emotional wellness and functionality in everyday life, while those who we not engaged and carrying out their appointments and positive environments, tended to fall back, recommit crimes, and return to prison. Those with a lifetime record of backsliding into violence and crimes are "HARD-WIRED" criminally, according to numerous statistics and studies. Although their numbers are fewer, the intensity of their violent crimes are critically alarming, meaning they should not ever be allowed to be free in a civilized society. Your testimony is a great resource for those who lack experience with the system. Readers will gain much insight from what you shared. May you have continued success and wonderful new year 2024. Cheers
This is very true.
@@EricK-tb2dnthe guys nuts. We dont know whats going on with his life lol.
Let that man into the Olympic team with a leap like that. That officer also looked like he got his ass beat.
It was disgraceful, he ruined his chances of getting out of prison
@@ralex3697I hope so
Now you do something ive seen other criminals attack other people in court and try to attack the judge on court cam but nothing was done to prevent them yet as soon as a judge gets attacked for real you do something why cant they do video calling from jails its much safer for the people in court rather then in person and if they play up they go straight to jail while the court carries on
😂😂😂
The judge was derisive and disrespectful. I'm looking at the situation before the attack and not justifying the attack. This judge is an arrogant twit who is not fit for the job.
"Judge Mary Kay: [Disrespectfully resting her chin on her hand while addressing Defendant]
"Is there anything you want to say on your own behalf before I pronounce sentence?
Defendant: "Based on my criminal history, I feel that I shouldn't be sent to prison for a second time."
Judge Mary Kay: "Have you looked at you criminal history?" [Ridiculing the Defendant.]
Attorney: [Argues for probabtion.]
Judge Mary Kay: "I appreciate that but I think it's time that he get a taste of something else." ["A taste" again employs Ridicule and sarcastically minimizes Imprisonment.]
Black excellence.
This guy was suffering from schizophrenia, and that wasn't being addressed, and now we're shocked that he did something outrageous? Obviously, he needed help for quite some time, and never received it. And the judge's smug attitude on top of it was the icing on the cake.
He had already gone through two psych evals and mental health treatment programs, according to his defense lawyer. Clearly the man has no self control and likes committing violence on others (which would explain his sadistic laughter as he was dragged out of the courtroom).
F off. Hopefully he can work on his schizophrenia behind bars for a loooong time
There are lots of folks with schizophrenia that don't commit violent crimes. Obviously the judge was correct in her skepticism of his sincerity.
Of course. Let us blame the judge. You dimwit!
@@lessnoise2772 That doesn't mean anything. He wasn't any of those other people. You still need to take the condition seriously.
This guy is cringe as hell, he doesn't even know date when he doing legal matter, irresponsible/untrustworthy!
As for judge she was the type that had something crawling under her skin!
