- Hey their guys and gals!! Today I bring my second tribute to Kenny, who is, as I think the title very much says, a monster. I love kenny to death but I think he very much turned into a monster as almost everyone in the apocalypse has. He is an amazing character and I'm excited to do more tributes for him in the future! So I hope you guys and gals emjoy this tribute and I will see ya all next monday (maybe even earlier :P) for a brand new tribute, have a badass day!! I love you guys and gals!! :)

Lee will always be my favorite, and Kenny does trip multiple times, but we must agree this is one of the hardest lines ever. I felt like it back in 8th grade, taking blow after blow only to wake up and repeat the cycle.

Kenny is probably the most human character in the game
in my opinion Kenny is the best character of season 2
and he died probably the worst way, but a heroic one, got eaten alive so AJ and Clem could live. . .
Tomasz Kiełtyka while yes, it might seem heroic, it was the worst way they could've written it. It should've been like with Lee. You could have clem send him out with a bang, or tell her to leave and let that be it. Kenny's death was cheap and just an excuse to move the story forward without having to have his character in the story.
definetly not the worst, it's fine in my opinion, in TWD people die in pointless and stupid ways for pointless and stupid reasons, that's just how it is.
Tomasz Kiełtyka yes but the main character deaths have some freaking buildup. And like I referenced Lee, he died no matter what, but their were choices as to how he died. Clem shot him or he turned. That's what Kenny's death should've had. Some choice. Because it's a choice based video game and he's a main character lol.

Kenny is alive with me ! I go to Wellington, kept his cap (season 3) and found his constellation (season 4)
At the final point of the Kenny and Jane fight, the first time I played, I paused and walked away for an hour or more. I genuinely didn't know what to do.
Kenny was losing it and worst of all was that he knew that and couldn't stop himself. There were moments that his true nature shone out though, think of in that final episode of season 2 when the truck has to stop suddenly. His first words are to make sure Jane is okay.
I eventually let him kill Jane, it was hard as hell to do because she was as broken as he was.
A lot of people don't like how Kenny died in A New Frontier, and I confess I would have liked to have seen something a little more epic, but he went out as I would have expected him to. Giving more of a damn about his family than himself.
People might think that Lee was the biggest influence on Clementine but I think Kenny is what drives her.
I was the exact same way, Kenny vs Jane was a hard decision but I also let Kenny kill Jane. Jane lied about killing a kid, at least when Kenny lost it, it made sense why he did. Jane just lied about a baby being dead to make a point. That's more fucked up than anything else.
I thought Kenny deserved better. Yes it was heroic, but I still think it was a cheap way to just write him off. I figured they should've fleshed out his character at least a little more. A car crash was a shitty way for his character to go.

Rin Sami agreed. Kenny was such a badass. He should've lived on through season 3. I loved season 3, but I think if Kenny/Jane lived on through it, that could've made the game SO much better!

Great video and great choice of music. Kenny is for me the perfect representation of what can a good man become when things get fucked. Because of that, I can't do nothing more than love him. Even if he was wrong sometimes, even if he almost lose his mind, he's still a great and human character.
Zinrei thank you so much!! I love Kenny because of this as well. I actually agreed with a lot of what he did. He did everything to survive and protect his loved ones. And the couple times he went into a raged attack, it was pretty understandable why he did. I greatly respect Kenny and his ending in the game was tragic
I still wished they kept Kenny alive till the final season. It would’ve been awesome to see him kill Lilly with a salt lick 👌

Having Kenny die due to injuries sustained in a car accident is too much like Chris' death on Fear, it was also a shitty way for a character who's been there from the start to be killed off, unexpected and for no reason...just like Travis. Kenny was a dude anyone would be glad to have on their side in a zombiepocalypse, no fuckin' around.

ᕼᑌᗰᗩᑎ ᖴᗴᒪᒪᗩ I know I wish they'd have given him a more gruesome yet still very epic and meaningful end off to him. He deserved that much yet sadly they just did a car crash. it certainly made me cry tho. and as usual I'm very glad you enjoyed the tribute, they'll be more coming as usual!! :)
Kenny is my favourite TWD character, not just in Telltale but in the whole comic and tv show universe. He’s so human.
As for my final decision, I’m not gonna kill my favourite character and if I was more confused - he won that fight against Jane.
That last fight between Jane and Kenny was probably one of the most avoidable events in the whole game, she told me not to interfere so I didn’t and now she has her own knife stuck in her chest .
Lmao theres really not much Clem can personally do, so it's avoidable you're right. I just disagreed with Jane so I let Kenny kill her.

People who call Kenny a "Monster" don't even know what a "Monster" is... Do they know characters like Joffrey Baratheon or Ramsay Bolton from GoT for example? They were Monsters but not kenny. Even Rick Grimes did so much more of bad things to survive. But everyone think that he acted just fine... Or even lee as a murderer can do much worse than this..( depending on how you play Lee ) Sorry but i never saw kenny as a Monster. And from Kenny Fans i expect not that line.

He killed whoever fucked with his family and friends, he bashed a guys skull in with a crowbar, he beat the shit out of arvo, he murdered Jane brutally. are these bad tho? no. they all deserved what they got. it was still monstrous tho. I believe he did the right thing in all the scenarios, BUT, it was a monstrous act nonetheless

After Kenny kills Jane and Clementine asks if he was ok, Kenny looks down, he doesnt look at her and says that "he'll live" he isnt proud of the fact that he had to do that infront of clementine, and then afterwards when they find AJ in the car, Kenny explains himself in a way that is almost asking for forgiveness, and then he hugs clem because he knows that they are good, she knows why he did what he did and she doesn't back away or is scared of him at all. Kenny isnt a monster, he isn't like Carver who didnt control himself randomly, with Kenny the anger is always justified, there is a reason to get him there, either with him believing that AJ was killed by Jane, or when he took the crowbar to Carver's head, that was because Carver was a bad guy and took kenny's eye. Despite everything that the world threw at him, Kenny never sat back and thought "screw everyone I'll kill everyone and be a bandit because this life is bad" instead he got drunk in that attic, he mourned in the tent and then he raised Clementine and lived longer than a lot of folks would have in that world,

Season 2 would be way less memorable if they killed Lenny off in season 1, and I’m glad they cut it and let him live, needed him to give the feels and and he made Season 2 what it is really.

I always viewed Kenny as a man who was dangerous, but he was dangerous because he had to be, to defend his family, to defend Clem and AJ, and he would do anything to keep them safe. To me, that sounds like a man of honor. And then they killed him off in a car accident. I get the whole "it's the apocalypse, shit happens" concept, but still, it's a video game, they should've given him more screen time, or at least killed him off in a better way. I loved Kenny and it's such a shame the way he died :( I'm glad my video was very enjoyable tho!!

is it weird that i really feel like losing Lee took a toll on Kenny? Lee was Kenny’s best friend (in my play through), and i believe that without Lee’s reassurance whenever it was needed just made everything worse for Kenny.
