It’s so crazy that anybody would need a tutorial on how to reset their Apple ID password. But I needed this video to send to my uncle he’s 54 and he’s just done trying to reset his password because he can’t figure it out, thank you for making this video.
i grew up with samsung products and finally got an ipad. so i had no idea, not everyone always had apple products.
Bro saved me!!! cause my old phone broke all i had to do is add my sim card to a trusted family members iphone and then i resseted it on there phone and then it gave a option to reset password through my sim cards number. it sent a code and done!!! Thankuuuu ❤ hope this helps somone

Every time I try this procedure, It says I have to wait several days for a text or Email from Apple to reset the password. Then I never hear from them. I can't use my new Iphone!!! Just a runaround!

Please help! I’m trying to unlock an old iPad (I reset it years ago) didn’t realise I have a very old iCloud account linked to the iPad through find my iPhone - I am unable to set up the iPad without entering the email and password to the old iCloud account. I can’t remember the password as it was from 2013 and when I click forgot password it comes up linked to a very old phone number that I need to enter to get a text to verify. I don’t have the old phone number so unable to do this or use the iPad. Can you help me please? 😢

Thanks for the vid...my prob is that i have no trusted devices, my old ipad with all my info died a gnarly death....on that ipad particularly was the phone associated with my apple id, which was from ten years ago, & i dont even remember what number i was...i think i do but i just tried it in the settings way, & it rejected me...maybe i did something wrong, idk, so ill try ur way here...if u cant tell by now, im a complete tech moron, & im lost lol

Make another Apple account for the meantime and it should allow you to download the app, go thru your settings and sign into another account or make one to do so.

Did it erase all the data while changing the password?
I can get on my tablet with my password but to update certain things it asks for Apple ID passcode. I’ve tried everything and resetting. I’ll put a code in an it’s not it. So frustrating. I don’t want to loose my downloads.

to me it says to wait for a few days, actually there was one time i had the message to reset my account but it expired because I was so busy to change my password, now weeks have passed they still didnt give me a message to reset my password, now my account is locked

I just "tried" to change my Dad's password. Got the email notification that it got changed. Can't sign in to iCloud cause the password is wrong..... No saying I have to WAIT for this to change. I hate ios.
