📌Some definition
Canning--
Canning is a method of preserving food in which the food contents are processed and sealed in an airtight container. Canning provides a shelf life typically ranging from one to five years, although under specific circumstances it can be much longer.
Lacquering--
Lacquer is a resin coating of cans which protect the inside of the can from acids in food which would otherwise attack the metal causing it to corrode. If the can is going to be stored in poor conditions the outside of the can, can be lacquered as well, to protect the metal from corrosion
Stack burning---
The deterioration in colour and quality of canned foods which have not been sufficiently cooled after canning

In 1804, Appert in France invented a process of sealing foods hermetically in
containers and sterilizing them by heat. In honour of the inventor, canning is also known as
appertizing. Saddington in England was the first to describe a method of canning of foods
in 1807. In 1810 Peter Durand, another Englishman, obtained the first British Patent on
canning of foods in tin containers. In 1817, William Underwood introduced canning of
fruits on a commercial scale in U.S.A.
