With the purchase of the Micro Minnie, the Two Tired Teachers also purchased Camco Levelers. The cost of these is $47.10 on Amazon. Similar levels cost anywhere from 74.87 to 82.97 also on Amazon.
First, we love these. For years we carried wood to level, and it worked; however, the wood was much heavier and took up much more room than the Camco Levelers.
To use these, you will need a level and someone to spot you. You place the levelers in front of the tires on the sides of the RV that needs to be lifted. While you pull up on the levelers, your spotter should be watching the level. When the RV is level, the spotter should tell you to stop. You stop and keep your foot on the brake while your spotter adds the chocks. The chocks are included in the price of the levelers.
Just a brief clarification. You do need to chock the side where the levelers aren't. You want your four RV wheels chocked.
The Camco Levelers will allow you to add up to 4" in height. The Two Tired Teachers are not being paid by Camco to review their levelers. We just wanted to show you a product that has worked for us.
Thanks for the tip about backing up on hills so they don’t slip!
You bet!
Thanks. You helped me decide to buy these. I am so tired of wood blocks too.
There have been a few times they've slipped on gravel, but those times are very few and far between. We love our Camco levelers.
important gizmos that make journeys enjoyable Grace be with you
Thank you, Phil.
New subscriber here. Love your channel name. I am a teacher and now teach online while we travel full-time in an RV. I look forward to following your channel. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome to Two Tired Teachers. We hope you enjoy our channel.
Thanks! Nice quick explanation. I was going to cheap out and make some out of wood. These are worth it.
Thanks for your comment.
We have the Andersen levelers and they’ve been outstanding for many, many years! Thanks for sharing.
We actually chose the Camco because of the price. We've loved them and had no problems.
I also have the Anderson levelers. I liked them until one broke. 😖
Thank you for another great video !
We use these levelers all the time.
Thanks for the info, wife and I are new to the RV adventure.
Welcome to the wonderful world of RVing. We love the levelers; they make like easier.
Always teaching. Good info.
Thank you, Wvevie.
@TOM ARCHER Thank you, Tom.
Thank you, teachers!!
You are very welcome.
The ones we got work great.
We love ours.
Omg thanks!!! We had the yellow type but didn’t use the second black one!! 👏🏾🤗
Once both are on, the chances of your RV moving are really slim.
Thx. I was going to buy the expensive ones, but not now.
We've been pleased with the Camco.
Great job!
Thank you.
Good instructions! I have these and haven't had to level side to side yet but I know I will need to. What do you do on the other side's tires? If one set of tires is up a few inches does that mean the tires on the other side are up in the air?
No, they are firmly on the ground. If anything, we might put down chocks.
thanks....i need some of these.
We use ours often.
I going to get some for my rig...thanks!! Two teachers two chocks, two and done! My jingle of the day..lol! Peachy B 🍑🍑👍👍
What a great jingle! LOL We've had no problem with ours, and it's been so much easiere than carrying wood for leveling.
I like it!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
You bet.
Thank you!
You're welcome.
👍
At 2:00, notice how much you roll back. If you use your emergency brake while still in gear, when you go into park, you wont roll back.
I don't know why we didn't think of that. Thanks a lot for the tip.
Would you suggest getting a set for each wheel or are two sets enough? Thanks for the video!
We have two sets because we have double axels. If yours is a single axle, you will need only one set.
No such thing as stupidity just learning.
After having taught for as long as we have, some questions border on not very bright. LOL

There are no stupid questions......just stupid people.
Thanks for the video, my only comment is 4" is not nearly enough for some of the places I dry camp......at an RV campground, they look like they would be very handy.
@@johnpeters9793 We've been fortunate in that they have been fine for us most of the time.
