Lawrence To continue our conversation from last week, we also installed the Level Mate system first thing on our new 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite 2109s. When we get to our campsite Cathy (wife) gets out and opens the passthru door and turns on the level mate as I open the app on my phone. She directs me into our spot and I then let her know where we need the levelers placed. It's absolutely the best way to go, We are pretty much level before I even get out of the truck..... lol ...
We 100% agree! We have only done it once, but it also made leveling much much simpler when I was setting up alone! I'd recommend this to any single travelers too!

For once it paid to procrastinate!!!! Almost ordered LevelMate last week. But watched the video, drank the Kool-Aid, placed the order, entered the code, got the deal, and just in time to get delivered tomorrow!!! Ez PeeZzzzzz! It’s on the way. Thanks Brits!
Awesome! I’m interested in your experience with it. It works great for us so far, but I’ve read a few bad reviews about signal strength. My main suggestion is to put it right at the front of the rig. Seems to work ok 👍
@@BrazenBrits Front pass-thru compartment was the plan. Where the stab jack switches, tools, weight distribution system trunnions are stored, wet-bay, etc. So always open upon arrival. If range is an issue, back to Mr. Bezos it goes. Have till sometime in January to return for full refund. Virtually zero risk. It’s going on in time for taking the rig to NYC this week.
Very good demonstration ontogeny both. Glad they both do the job well. Is it possible to use both? They both seem to work well. Thank you for showing both of these. Hope you have a great day and week and see you soon!
Yup, we plan to use both for a while. Obviously you can only look at one app at a time (unless you have two phones), but we’re hoping to do a longevity test with them. Will update next year some time.
The LevelMatePRO is really good. The app is easier on the eye and the case is nicer, so I wouldn’t ever suggest not getting the LevelMatePRO. But, for half the price, the RV Leveler is hard to turn down. Salty Vet. Same! We just bought Natalie a new MacBook a month or so ago 🤦♂️
Yup. It’s a great device and generally works well, but we find that with our LevelMatePRO too. Very frustrating when we then have to go in the rig to reset it.
We have had some issues with the initial connection. More than the LevelMatePRO, however, we also have issues often with the LevelMatePRO connecting. This is another reason we are moving the LevelMatePRO to the very front of the rig and looking forward to doing more testing over the next few months
I bought the Labelmate pro + and hooked it up to a USB and I have to turn it off and on to get it to connect most of the time and the damn thing changes over a few days every time I look at the app not recommended in my opinion
Thats great information Darryl. We’ve been tempted to get it purely for the usb power option, so your experience helps remove that craving a bit. We have the disconnect/reset issue often with our original LevelMatePRO
The Levelmate Pro seemed to have a faster response time when you were holding and tilting it, less lag than the rhino. Was that your experience in using both?
I think that would be accurate. Everything about the level mate pro is just a bit better than the Rhinostorm, but they ultimately have all the same features. The Rhinostorm is cheaper which also might affect your decision. If they were the same price, I’d go for the LevelMatePRO pro, but if you needed something affordable right now, go for the Rhinostorm. Interestingly though, in the 2 years we’ve been using both, the Levelmate has needed completely reset more than the Rhinostorm.
Just discovered your channel. Good informative video on leveling devices. Unfortunately, I missed the discount window on the Rhino RV Leveler device (**Now Valid until 21st June 2022**).
Hi. The LevelMate PRO and PRO + goes through extensive temperature testing and calibration as well as an extra temp test before final assembly. Temperature can affect the leveling.I dare say that the Rhino doesn’t test this much for the price.
Hi Jason, yes, they both allow you to set the hitch height on the main screen. We don’t use this as much as we should, but it’s a good feature on both units 👍
Hi Thomas. I know they had recent issues with their iPhone app. But I wasn’t aware that it had been removed from Amazon. I will email my contact and find out what the deal is. Laurence
Am I missing something, or has this product fallen off the face of the planet? There is no stock on Amazon (with no expected date), and I can find no mention of the product on the company website. What's up???
Great review! My rig has auto level but it would be nice to have one of these when I back into a site to see how level it is to begin with. For $80, i might be tempted. The setup instructions for the Rhino Storm need to be proof read as a couple of grammatical errors jumped out at me. This is a pet peeve and it drives me crazy on Amazon as well. If english isn't your first language but you are trying to sell to english speaking customers, please have someone proof read descriptions and instructions. I know...nit picking, but it seems less professional when grammar is all jacked up. And for the record, I suck at grammar. 👀 Rant over. Love the video and I look forward to a long term review. I (Laurence) completely agree with you on the spelling and grammar. I’m a real stickler for it. I think it’s because as a kid I was not good at it. Hated it. Didn’t think it was important. But I worked my ass off to figure it out. Now I’m ‘that guy’ 🤣🤣 Hit us up when you are down here and we’ll see if we can meet up. We are about 1hr 30 from Orlando.
Hi Rapierce99, they are currently having shipping delays and a recently had a high demand for it. Amazon is the only place to buy it. But keep checking often as they get more stock quite often. Feel free to message them on Amazon too, they are quite responsive and might be able to give you an idea on when they expect more stock.
