- Recorded on June 1st, 2024. WOW! I got to experience a large siren's chopper actually blowing up. I know everyone had seen a video of this siren already. But I wanted to upload my version since I had to borrow my friend's camera and delayed a while to retrieve this video. RIP ACA P-50. This video was taken at SirenCon 2024. BTW I will be uploading a reversed video of this. Big thanks to SouthCarolinaSirens for letting me use his camera.
Siren: ACA Penetrator
Type: 50
Recorded by a Panasonic HC-V180K
The P-50 invented a new signal
Yelp has existed since the gen 1 allertor
Fr
The self destruct tone
That’s also called yelp because of the sound and also it’s association with very sick sirens, although I think this P50 helped others come up with a new better name for it, that being the explosion signal.

RIP ACA P-50 😵😭
Dang man that chopper motor is fried for good
Surprisingly, the motor was fine lol.
@@kansasclocksandsirens bs it literaly blew up in the video
@@bigdikboiCJ That was the smoke from the rotor welding itself to the stator
@@kansasclocksandsirens no the motor went boom and that caused it to stop suddenly
@@bigdikboiCJ the rotor cracked. The motor was fine
You looked like you were dressed for a wedding on other peoples videos, but after the P50 exploded what did you guys eat?
3:39 sounds like the chopper deleted itself
for real for real
The firebre glass went i the chopper
Bro did Yelp signal
I heard the chopper friction welded itself to the stator.
who owned the aca p 50
Rip
in my opinion the broken signal sounds creepier
Rip very sad
Womp womp
I'm sorry Guys I couldn't be Able to come to SirensCon 2024 but in 7 Years Time I might come Then and see you all Ok I'll Try to come 😊 bye
3:54 why did you add an image here
That’s what the chopper looked like after the explosion
That sucked, also what caused it?
maybe an old blower that was getting rusty or cracked blower
There were micro-cracks in the chopper that went unnoticed during inspections. They got there when the siren swallowed some of its fiberglass while in service, and it was removed and scrapped. Under the centrifugal force of running the siren again those micro-cracks grew until the chopper expanded and friction-welded itself to the stator, causing it to stop dead. The chopper is now unfixable and as good as a coffee table, and will probably have to be replaced completely if the siren will ever run again.
@@merp_dino There was no blower on that siren.
@@MichanaAlerting Thanks.
@@Person947 No problem!
ACA P50 does dyno! It's runaway like a diesel engine and kamboom
What's going on with the voltage? why many different steps?
The motor was probably bad from the beginning
The generator they used for the siren was too small
Why not buy an asc t-135 ac? The t-135 ac has immortal choppers. This p-50's chopper was made of aluminium, and the t-135 ac's choppers are made of thick stainless steel
Bro said I quit lol
Poor siren 🥺
😂 I think the motor burned out.
Fiberglass got caught in the rotor and welded itself onto the stator and seized up and that's why the chopper stopped instantly
whose siren was it?
It eat fiverglass and say yummy
Bro what?
Bro💀💀💀
