While I am inclined to agree with you, I want Esfand to make a living providing this kind of content so it's kind've something you just have to accept if you want free content. This guy shits out quality classic content, maybe someday he will be big enough to where he can afford to not address these sorts of things.

I stood next to a shaman on Elysium in Org. (I know, not the same but still good comparison I think) who said he started the first day of MC with 600 plus to healing on his gear and it was a total cake walk. I played classic WoW, and I gotta say, there wasn't really much plus to healing on gear when it started. If this gear drops, then it significantly changes the game play and strategies of gearing. I farmed Dire Maul daily when it came out in classic, sometimes two times per day, for those cloth pants to drop, never dropped. The only piece I remember having with plus to healing on the gear was the cloak (pattern drop from Dire Maul, pattern never dropped either so I had to pay someone for making the cloak). Point being, as a priest healer, it doesn't play at all the same if you simply just farm 600 plus to healing and click a few renews, druid a few rejuvs and stand there with not much to do since renews and rejuvs will tick for so much. Please talk about this, I think mages were the same with plus to dps gear.

Hey Esfand, I recently find your channel and I plan of watching each daily dose until classic is release, after that I'm going to play the game the most casually hardcore that I can. I know this is crazy but the part that most excite me is leveling and exploring the world. Be damn sure my build is gonna suck and probably I'm going to get kick from groups but I will play what I think make sense and learn the hard way what doesn't work and I will love every moment of it for sure!

I'd like to hear your take on the dynamic of people saying they won't take a "sub-optimal" dps class for raids, but yet also admit the raid content isn't challenging in the first place.

21:00 I remember the night pvp stream you did when you got Ashkandi, and you came across a shaman who was spam purging you, and you just casted SoC on swing timer and roasted his ass, and u let everyone know that "you just hit it on the swing timer baby!"
Hey Esfand, glad to see yer content back again! What I would really love to see is a class guide for Paladins. I know others have done it. But I would love to see your perspective on it. As everyone else plays pally's way different than you do.

all gear zal uses is eighter full d1 or full t1, atleast in his pvp1 all gear hes using is full d1, which is why he can heal so much

Esfand, the 1.12 systems will open the content up to everyone. Yes, it will trivialize the raids for the top 1% but the game isn’t all about them. These crazy 10 warr, 10 rogue, 10 mage comps didn’t start until naxx when people were trying to overpower the content. The way classic is set up at the moment will allow a balanced raid comp to have fun together.

Super old classic, back when pallies could get SoC, repentance, consecrate and holy shield in one build lmao. Zalgradis was great, his 3rd video is definitely top 10 classic pvp videos. World of Paladincraft (Grievous) deserves an honorable mention.
If Paladin can get out of Frost Nova that easily, why do I see several videos of Paladin sitting through a full duration Frost Nova? Do they not know of Cleanse and Blessing of Freedom?

At 8:50 regarding the holy shield & vengeance proc. He seems to be in full Lightforge set? If so the Vengeance proc might be from that?

Think you might be barking up the wrong tree with the content version mate, I understand the angle your coming from but from a game quality point of view classic will stand hands and shoulders above other options. It can still send a message to the genre about fostering better content and philosophy. I never played classic but I understand that the 1.2 experience isn't everyone's experience either, perhaps this is the most serviceable version we can get? Love the thought process though :)

Very good thing is Shadow oil tagging Grounding totem and you dont need switch to it. Its crusial at endgame bc you save your Judgement and Swing CD.

Sure assume all you want about length of phases but they have only officially stated they will be adjusted according to how the player base progresses. I think the percentage of people that hit the 2.5 month mark, with nothing to do but wait for DM/pvp, will be far too small for them release phase 2 in anything less than 4 months. I'd assume the vast majority of casuals would take just that long (2.5 months) to level to 60 which far outweighs the number willing to speed run it in reality. Even if you did play all that time you can never guarantee attaining all you would like just based on rng. Also that early on you really can't justify not farming gold and sitting around in a "stagnant period of nothing to do" either.
think most veteran players hits 60 in first week, atleast my guild is going for Rag kill day 5. phase 1 is the most important phase off all where you grind your income that will last you over other phases, there is no time where you have nothing to do in vanilla theres always something to do and phases could even last longer in my opinion.
weapon speed normalization was one of the worst things introduced in vanilla, it takes away item depth and thinking on what weapon to use for what purpose...hoped they didn't bring that in modern classic...

Classic will die. The hardcore players will get to 60 and finish all the content. The casuals will quit before they unlock their level 40 mount.
