- Newborn babies who need intensive medical attention will be cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital. The NICU provides 24-hour care to prematurely born babies and critically ill infants who require tightly controlled environments in which to receive treatments.
Bloom started with mom’s having a special place in their hearts for the NICU, wanting to find a way to give back to the place that cared for and saved their newborn babies. These moms cherish the NICU staff, their “Angels on Earth”, for providing them with a miracle and wanting to find a way to show their gratitude.
The conversation that began a vision… a vision which started our dream… and the dream which has become a reality… and one that is getting bigger and bigger each year!

Okay to let some go. Rest in peace. Move on.
my grand daughter was born during covid, and was in NICU for a time...it was the hardest thing, not being able to visit her, after she was born....even mom & dad couldn't see her, together....was so happy when she was allowed to go home...btw - she had breathing issues, due to swallowing too much fluid, @ birth, requiring a stay in NICU
