Hi This is a rather long post but i know I’m putting down words that many people, especially women, feel but can’t articulate….. I’m 66 and after having gone through the whole gambit of working, marrying, giving up a job ( even though it was a shitty one ) to bring up 2 kids, once they left home then settling down to an empty nest ( not fun) and deciding to throw myself into looking after a dog and an impossible husband, then trying various ways to make money ( which didnt work). Lost my husband and then my dog and two years down the road I’m wondering why I’m even here and what I’m supposed to do with my life. It was good listening to you and I’m saving this video because i need to hear it more often and hopefully I’ll get some inspiration so…. Thank you for being real.
You are so INSANELY correct about this subject matter that it’s actually terrifying. As a fellow adult who grew up as a math kid, I ALWAYS make up my own statistics, and guess what, just like you said, if you care, IT WORKS! Nobody questions it. I’m not writing legally binding statistics. I only say shit that makes sense. Anyways, this should be the top RUclips self-help video of all time, or at least successful thinking for overthinkers. My major issue is overthinking shit into its own grave. And again, you’re totally right about the fact that you need to l: 1) determine what you are good at and what your weak points are, 2) how can that very broadly translate into a monetized thing in your life, 3) lay out a very crude plan with actionable steps, and 4) do it, and as long as you care, and your caring comes across in to whomever is giving you the money or who reasonably be a potential customer, then just fuck it! You’re already doing better than 90% of everyone else, just like you said. Here’s a statistic of my own pertaining to the your subject, and my overthinking problem. 0% of humans will ever know even 1% of information that exists at their current time on the planet. So if you can find a way to step out of the comfort zone and just try something you ACTUALLY care about and you know is a personal strength, without it going into the overthinking grave, you’re already in the top 7%. 🤣🤣🤣
